Five days later, after a celebration of food and drinks due to the success of our song, “The Haunted Doll," we performed in Tokyo, Japan. Japan was a marvelous country brimming with beautiful sights and scenery. Whether it was morning and night, whether you were in a city or countryside, the views were always breathtaking. One night during the concert, the crowd was lively, and they sang along, danced, and moshpitted to our heavy music. They really enjoyed our concert, and we were grateful for that. The day after the concert, we went to many different tourist spots, such as historical landmarks, libraries, coffee shops, malls, parks, gardens, forests, and beaches. We ate out and tried out Japanese cuisines in magnificent restaurants; their food and beverages were tasty and healthy. The place we enjoyed the most was their famous amusement park. We rode thrilling and chill rides, visited horror houses and famous cartoon-themed establishments, and bought cute and useful gifts from lovely shops. The Japanese people were good-looking, well-dressed, and active. Even the senior citizens were active; they loved biking on the streets and cleaning their environment. All in all, my impression was that the Japanese were well-disciplined, neat, hardworking, and social. My bandmates and I spent two weeks in this alluring country. On days and nights, we visited the astonishing places, shopped in convenient shopping centers, ate in cozy restaurants, and drank coffee in charming coffee shops. “Let’s go to a club,” Dianne suggested. “Yeah, that will be cool,” Dominic agreed. “We can try their foods and drinks there,” Sebastian said. “Especially alcoholic drinks.” He winked. “Be careful and try not to get drunk or high,” Noah warned both Dianne and Sebastian. “Chill,” I chuckled, “you’re so serious all the time, and you’re acting like their grandmother.” The group laughed except for Noah. “Well, I try my best to be responsible and watch over you all,” Noah calmly replied. We entered a nightclub later on at 7:00 pm. We dressed in our most fashionable clothes. We danced, ate, and drank with some locals and tourists. Dianne drank responsibly. Sebastian didn’t smoke weed or anything illegal. Everything was going well. While my bandmates and I were enjoying our foods and drinks at our table, a girl about 21 years old was running towards us. She hid under the table. Who was she avoiding? I searched for an answer to my question. It was a guy who seemed to be her boyfriend and who seemed five years older than her. The boyfriend looked all over for her. But he didn’t find her. When the boyfriend left the club, the girl rose from under the table and stood up. “Thank you for helping me hide from my ex-boyfriend,” she divulged to us. “I caught him kissing another girl, and yet he denied it. He said that it didn’t happen. He was such a liar. So, I broke up with him and left his sorry ass. But he begged for me to come back to him, and he chased me. I have had enough of him and his lies.” “You are welcome. We are glad we helped you,” Noah said empathically. “We are sorry for how your ex treated you.” The girl bowed her head respectfully and left us and the club. “Wow that was quite a story,” Dianne uttered. “I feel bad for the girl. Her ex is too clingy despite being unfaithful to her.” We agreed. “Yeah.” “You are right.” Dominic discreetly picked up something from under the table. But I saw him doing it. I looked at him and advised him, “We should return the wallet to that girl.” “Shh! "He whispered to me, “Are you crazy? I am not returning it! My girlfriend is going to love this wallet.” I could see why Dominic wanted the wallet. It was shiny, soft, and looked expensive. Hell, it was expensive! It was a luxurious wallet and a limited edition one! “No, you have to give it back,” I fought with Dominic. “But I don’t want to,” he replied angrily. “Hey, what's going on around there?" Noah asked in an authoritative manner and voice. “Dominic is trying to steal the wallet of the girl,” I answered in a low voice so no one near our table would hear us. “What?! "Dianne exclaimed that she almost yelled. Her eyes and mouth widened in shock. “No way! "Sebastian was equally shocked. “You have to return it,” Noah warned. “Or else, I’m going to tell Mr. Ritchie what you almost did. Or even the police. Do you want that?” Dominic sighed. “All right. I’m going to return it tomorrow. Since we can’t call the girl and tell her to come back. She might have been resting now after the stress her ex gave her.” “Give the wallet to me,” Noah commanded him. “Why? Don’t you trust me at all ” Dominic asked offensively. “No, I don’t,” Noah replied. “And how sure are we that you’re going to give it back? Huh?” Dominic challenged him. Noah rolled his eyes. “Are you seriously asking that question?” “Oh, come on,” Dianne defended Noah, “we all know Noah. He always does the right thing. He wouldn’t steal anything." We all agreed with Dianne. Dominic gave the wallet to Noah. “Good decision, Dominic,” Noah told Dominic. “Well, you threatened to call Jimmy and the police on me; I had no choice,” Dominic stated. After we enjoyed drinking and dancing in the club, we stayed in a five-star hotel. The guys stayed in one room. Dianne and I slept in another room. Dianne was watching an anime on the television while the sushi she ordered over the hotel phone. She offered me sushi, since it was meant to be shared for two. “You have to watch this anime. It’s a classic,” she suggested to me. I nodded. I was still thinking about the situation earlier in the club. It had me worried. “Dianne?” “Yes?” “Has Dominic always been like that?” I asked as I furrowed my eyebrows. “You mean if he always steals stuff? In the past, not really,” she answered. “But his girlfriend loves luxurious things and is always so demanding. So Dominic got tempted to steal things like that wallet.” “He has to break up with his girlfriend. That kind of girl will only cause him trouble.” “You are right, but he loves her so much.” I remained silent as we watched the anime and ate sushi and drank iced tea.
