Daisy's words never left my mind, they were stuck in, she actually said nothing concerning the game I am playing, but she could detect the in balance in the equation. You're broken, you've been broken, and it wasn't an easy one. Those words, those words wasn't for my ears to listen, rather it feels like she was actually referring to my soul, speaking within, speaking past the skin itself, I just couldn't believe that she nailed me down with just her curiosity.
I think of all the girls I'm in speaking terms with, Daisy was the smartest one, her being the smartest one means one thing, I should as well reduce my company of being seen around with her, because the closer we become, the more transparent she sees through me.
Three of the guys came to me before lunchtime was over, they said their names were, Cameron, Brandon and Kendall. I know those three, have been as well looking their side as much as they've been looking mine, seeing the way I am hugging all the attention yet doesn't have a clear relationship with the guys. 
Having believed they'll reach out, I waited, approaching them would make them feel like they are the ones people wants to always stick around to, but now they're the ones that approached me, my presence would definitely be valued, I can either say all thanks to Melanie for promoting my name, or maybe, all thanks to me for playing it smart.
The brought the idea of me joining them in playing the game of basketball, joining the school team. I do know how to play and as well, I love playing the game, but to be considered priority, I just have to stay back while things come at me, that's my mindset and they work for me.
They as well invited me concerning a party they would be having on Friday night at Cameron's house, saying it's actually his birthday and they're going to celebrate it, all the top students would be invited as well. I'm just doing what I do best, thinking, nothing else.
About the party actually, I might miss or maybe show up, that depends on my uncle's permission, I actually have no interest in showing up because Dad never taught me that way, so it's actually not part of me, but if my uncle agrees, then I guess it's going to be my first appearance, there's always a first for everything, isn't it?.
After the school dismissal, I happened to spend the whole day not speaking to Melanie again, even though she's possibly on the lookout for me, as well as Amelia, I saw her staring my side a couple of times, but I never asked for her presence. Daisy was the only one who caught up with me before lunchtime, but after meeting the guys, we never crossed path again, she went on her way, probably taking care of her activities while I took care of mine.
Stepping out from the school building and headed towards the packing lots, I saw the Guys sitting together on top of a pickup vehicle, one that I actually think belongs to Kendall.
He was the one I always saw on the wheels, so he's definitely the owner of the car. I decided to stop by, gave them a greeting with handshakes before walking away. I should give myself some space away from them, that would also make them realize that I was never hoping for this opportunity or find it any kind of valuable than things I was already into.
On getting to where I packed my vehicle, she was there, she was standing by the side of my car, waiting for me, expecting my arrival. “ Should I be worried that you're here?....” I asked her, nothing else coming to mind, always speaking whatever that came up when I am speaking with her, that's the way it has always been.
“ I decided to wait for you to show up, since we're going to the same location, I was thinking whether I would request for a lift back home?....”
You can tell by the look on her face that she wasn't sure about this, yet still have to do it because she wanted something, she definitely wanted something, that's the reason she's here. I wanted to tell her no, wanted to tell her that I am going somewhere else, that I have some places to be before going home, but I've never been the type that lies to her, I never lie to her.
“ From the way you speak, I guess you too saw me when you got here, meaning that you knew I had seen you too, and you came here in a vehicle...”
I made my point, not trying to be rude, but finding a way to detach her from my presence, even though I don't know if I want to. “ My Dad won't be driving back here any time soon, so I guess it's best to go with someone that's worth it....”
Fuck!.... Is she trying to sweet mouth me?, Is she Fucking trying to sweet mouth me or something?, She still thinks that I am that same guy she dumped years ago, the guy who tries to understand every decision she makes, that fucker is long gone, the guy replacing him is the total opposite of him.
“ Someone that worth it?, Are you Fucking kidding me?. You know what?, I have got places to be in before going home, so if you think that it would be best to drive about with me before going home, then you can make your way in through the other door....”
I went in into the car, believing that what I just told her would send her away, she has no reason to follow me about before going home, she can't possibly trust me with her safety, not after knowing the miseries she did put me through in the past.
To my surprise, she's at the other door, waiting for me to open, what the hell is she playing at?.
