It's been a week and I have never left home, no contact from Jerry or anyone, haven't seen my mom for a week now, news continue to pop up on the television concerning the missing kid who's nowhere to be found, my case makes it difficult to end, even though they don't have evidence yet, my disappearance serves as a huge proof that I have got something to do with that murder and I can't be found because of my offense, that's how the definition is definitely in people's thoughts, I believe.... Few who knew me will start making up stories, the boy they once knew as harmless is now a well known murderer who's whereabouts is unknown.
Despite the hate Angela have for me, she couldn't leak my whereabouts this time because it will get her involved if I happened to be found, she's the reason I had to leave home and that's a case she definitely don't want upon her head.
I just wake up, eat, sleep, repeat.... Nothing new in my life this past week because I was busy hiding from the outside world on Jerry's command, by the way things are going, I don't believe he will ever get me out of this, not when everyone believes that I am the one who did the deed.
Mr Drew and Angela are the ones suffering for the allegation upon me, they face criticism out there, Mr Drew accepts it as punishment for his mistakes, while Angela takes it as miseries upon her perfect good life, that I am ruining her and her happiness, blaming me for what she's going through, yet cautious around me because she too doesn't know whether I was really the one that did that, getting my hands soaked with blood, I could tell that she loves herself too much to ever put herself on my bad side, the News someway making her develop fear towards me.
As Mr Drew has said, the police do come to his workplace a few times to ask questions, as well as Angela's, they always have to answer questions that won't get the police to come to the house, they already started this, so they'll have to finish it.
Seated on the couch, staring at the turned off television, the phone given to me began to ring, unknown caller ID on the phone screen, it's definitely Jerry or Freddy, they just reached out. I'm not happy that they're getting in contact so as to bring me back to the crew, but because that's a huge step forward to getting close to my mom again.
“ (Turn on the television.....)”.
I did as he asked, it was Jerry's voice, he's the one reaching out. In front of me was playing the incident I was charged with, it turns out that the police has found out the real culprit and is making a public apology to me, asking me that I can come out from my hiding now and come live my life, compensation would be paid for the allegation and the real culprit was found, he committed suicide, just like the police stated, he was a psychopath who just committed crime because of the disorder he was suffering from.
I saw the door open, Mr Drew running in happily, hugging me so that, “ I was scared.... Had I know you was a blessing to this family, I wouldn't have messed things up with you, forgive me for my mistakes....”.
I know why he's so apologetic to me this way, Angela came back too, having seen the news, also wanted to show her appreciations to me, both happy because of the compensation mentioned. They did play a huge role in keeping me safe, but for me, only one man gets credit for this, he can put you in danger and also get you out, not just getting you out, but in flying colors where you will end up getting praised for that.
“ Hello Jerry....”.
“( I believe you're happy being a free man again, heard that the government will be offering you a $100,000 bill for the personal damages done, causing mental frustration to you when you're innocent....”.
He was all laughter saying those words, probably enjoying the game he was playing. I'm afraid of Jerry, I'm scared of him, he's the true definition of danger lurking next door, I believe it's about time he needed me, that's why he resolved the issue.
“ Lemme guess, you manipulated the police?....”.
“ That's sounds more like a bigger credit if you say it that way..... Let's just say, I have my own tricks up my sleeves, I will see you tonight, when we meet, I will let you know what's next and also a hint on how I get everyone off your a**....”.
He disconnected the call. I was in the bathroom where no one could here my conversation on the phone, I believe by now, everyone might've already began to feel apologetic towards me, they believe they now know the truth and I am innocent, most of them would probably be wishing to catch a glimpse of me so that they might apologize for their false accusations towards me, one man playing the mind of everyone in the city while seating at his home like he was a nobody, the most dangerous individual I have ever come across.
People started coming to our home, Mr Drew probably letting everyone know that I am back in the house, I never wanted to meet anyone because I know all this were fake, they don't know that they're being played by a single man whom most of them have never encountered, I can possibly admit that, if Jerry decides that he now wants to take over this city, he possibly can, because there's no trick you can't find under his sleeves, believe me.... He's someone you really don't want to double cross.
