Moving gingerly so none of the staffs will notice me, I happened to make it to the closed room meant for the staff, that's definitely the secret room where I have never been to in this medical center, whatever is going on, is definitely happening in there, that I'm sure of.
Opening the door, I went in, I have never been here before, so it all seems new to me, I have just got to be careful, so as to not implicate myself.
Sneaking in gently, I was trying to gently push the room doors which I was getting past, to see which one of them the actions are taking place, having gently pushed three closed doors already, none of them made way, on about to get on my fourth one and give it a try, a gun was pointed at the back of my head, at that spot, I know that I just stepped on a land mine.
“ There's still four minutes left for you to come out from that room, what are you doing here?....”.
It was Jerry, it was his voice, he was the one standing behind me, with a gun pointed at the back of my head, my hands still raised up in a surrender. I turned around, knowing that I can, we're definitely not at the place he would want to kill me, that gives me the upper hand for now, any rash move ruins all he has been planning.
“ I finished early, I wanted to come have your back, since no one else was, the three guys are still nowhere to be found, so I was sure you might possibly need some backup....”
He pushed me back to the wall with the gun pointed now in my forehead, “ I make the rules, all you've got to do is obey..... I never told you I don't have a backup, unless you're up to something....”.
“ No ”.
I said out of fear. I know that he wouldn't like to take further actions here, but for him to think that I am planning something else on ruining this mission, I will never agree with that, Jerry here wouldn't care, he possibly would shoot me and whatever the outcome will be, let it be, but as for me getting on his path, he will make sure that I don't take in the next oxygen in the air.
“ You were meant to come out after ten f**king minutes, you will definitely be searching for me, that's the plan, because I know you believe I don't f**king joke with timing, the staff will notice and then f**king notify the guys blocking the gate, they'll come in to check whether their consignment was still in place, leading us to wherever they're possibly hiding all that money..... That was how it was f**king supposed to work, but here you're, trying to f**k with my plan.....”.
He stepped back, cocked the gun, then aimed at me again, fear gripping me, why am I always finding myself in a dangerous situation like this?.
“ There's still time, I can still make that happen, if only you would give me a chance....”.
“ Why would I?, When I know you have nothing to offer than to fuck up with what's left..... The gangs are gonna be coming in no time, why would I still need you when I am already in?..... You wanted your Mom and I have given her to you and hoping for you to finish with the one last job of causing a commotion of searching for me, that would have been your get away in all this, but you are just a dumb a**hole who wants to be told everything....”.
“ I can still do that, there's still time for me to do that Jerry, I know you're a heartless criminal who feels nothing, but I am still your f**king brother!....”
He was shocked, taken aback by my confession like it was the last thing he expected, he never saw it coming and he never would. “ I can see Freddy have a big mouth after all, really glad I took him out of the picture, and more reasons to kill you too at this spot....”.
The gun he held has a silencer, if he shoots me now, no one will know or hear any sound, I will just be gone, just like Freddy. Yeah, Freddy told me quite a few things, he was the one who asked me to ask Jerry that question inside the car, and he was also the one who told me that Jerry was my blood brother, he was intentionally using me, just as Freddy told me, he said that I should just relax and not be scared about my life, Jerry might have already made all his plans to use me, but he doesn't want me dead, so I should do whatever I like, he wouldn't strike me down. I pointed the gun at him outside because I know that even if I didn't strike, he still wouldn't kill when he takes it away from me, he also has been overlooking a few things I do, probably because he was my brother, I now see more reasons why he said that I am the only one he could trust, despite just knowing me, this shows that he has always been around watching, watching everything I do, everywhere I go, he already knows me before I knew him.
“ I don't know why you're doing this, or why you even got me in and wanted to implicate me too, I was just living my life the way it was until you showed up, until you f**king showed up....”
I pushed him back, not minding the gun he was pointed to my head, he moved back because of the push, tears running down my cheeks, as he gently brings the gun down, eyes on me, pain washing through me, not knowing why he hated me so much to make my life miserable too.
“ I never wanted you to know, but the fact you do now, I guess I have to then share more details with you.....”
