They have met, and the consequence was me hurting.
Chapter 37
"They met again Grandma," Roseanna said to her Grandmother. They were both looking over the kids who's playing under the sun in the backyard.
"I tell you Roseanna. This isn't just a mere coincidence now. Fate is clinging into your kids and their father." Her grandma talked without looking at her.
Roseanna went silent for a minutes and then her phone beeped.
"Aideen Drew might be suspicious starting now Grandma" She is looking at the text message that pop in. Her  Grandmother looked at her.
"Why? Is there a problem?" Her Grandma asked.
"I think Aideen Drew just texted me" She then looked at her Grandmother "I don't know Grandma, he texted that we need to talk"
"Why are you so anxious? It's not like he knew something already"
"Blaizé talked about how he found out that Jaden isn't their real father and say such things to Aideen Drew like asking if maybe he is their real dad because they look alike," She explained.
"Maybe it's time to let the truth rice Roseanna. Let your kids be happy"
"Jaden won't let me Grandma. I tried it already, I tried to convince him yesterday but we ended up fighting"
"He can't do anything but to agree. Your kids are smart they will find a way and seek for answers" Her Grandma hold her hands.
"But-" She was cut of by her Grandma.
"Text him back tell your decision and whatever may it be, I'm okay with it  it's your choice to make. I won't mind anything" Her grandmother stands up and went over the kids. "Little ones, Blaizé, Aethesia. Let's go inside? Let's eat ice cream." Her Grandma called the kids and then they went in
Roseanna sighed and typed a reply to Aideen's message
'I will talk to you next time Dre, but not now. I'm sorry' -  she replied and a minute later Aideen reply to her.
'I need to talk to you right away. Text me a date' - Aideen
'Alright, lets meet tomorrow. Don't even think about kidnapping me again. I will book a reservation on a Chinese Restaurant.'- she texted
'Okay, 3 pm'- Aiden replied
And that ended their talk.
...
"Are you sure about this? You're not backing up" Sam asked worriedly.
"It's now or never Sam. Jaden might stop me and won't let me see Aideen Drew again for our kids if I will tell him about this"
"Okay, okay. I will be going t so uta not that obvious"
"We will bring the kids with us, and you will have another room" Roseanna said that made Sam looked at her with wide eyes.
"Room? What room?" Sam asked, not minding her loud voice Roseanna flicks her forehead.
"You and your dirty mind!" Roseanna's eyebrows met each other.
"What you said room so I assumed" Sam holding her forehead where Roseanna flicks her.
"It's a Chinese restaurant of course there will be a private room to eat" Roseanna then finished fixing herself "I specifically choose that because I want to avoid any articles, I'll go now. Make sure you and the kids will be next to us" Sam nodded as a response before Roseanna went out and drove off.
"Let's go kids, mommy Sam will treat you in a Chinese restaurant" Sam called the kids and they went off following Roseanna's path "damn it, I feel like a shity secretary on a full mode detective" Sam whispered.
...
"Good afternoon ma'am table for one?" A manager asked
"No, thank you  I'm here for Mr. Aideen Stone" Roseanna
"Ow, pardon me. You must be Ms. Zoey. This way please"
The manager guided Roseanna to where Aideen is, the manager then opened the door for her. She took a deep breath as she entered the room. Aiden, who's sitting in the chair of the other side of the table stands up as he sees her. Then for many times their eyes met again.
"Rose" Aideen Drew couldn't help but to call her name in a loving and yearning voice. Roseanna blinked.
"Drew" She uttered his name, for the first time in 6 years she called him Drew again. Aideen Drew's eyes twinkle like a glitter as she went over Roseanna and guide her to sit.
"Thank you" Roseanna thanked him as she sit. 'I didn't think it's possible to see a person's eyes twinkle like that' she thought while looking at Aideen who went back to his sit. "I won't make this long" Roseanna spoken up.
"Can we eat first? I have a feeling that this will be our last meal together" Aideen stopped her, he wanted to be with her longer for the last time.
"This is our first meal" Roseanna reminded him.
"Oh, yeah. It is" Aideen faked a laugh and Roseanna forced a smile
They went silent after that and started to eat. They were almost done eating when Aideen Drew spoke,
"How are you?" Roseanna looked at him but he was just looking at his food. Roseanna then sighed
"I'm fine, good" Roseanna answered him and smiled then she started at him as she ask "You? How about you?" Roseanna wanted to hear that he is indeed fine.
"What can you tell?" Aideen Drew raised his head up making him look straight into her eyes. Roseanna saw a glitter of hope in Aideen's eyes, the logging, the pain, Everything that Roseanna did not handle so she broke the stares they shared "Seeing you happy is enough for me to be fine or just to think I'm fine" Aideen whispered that but Roseanna clearly heard it.
"You said we wanted to talk, why do you want to talk?" Roseanna faked a cough and hold her spoon tightly. Waiting to hear him say.....
"Can - can you tell me to give up?" Aideen's tears started to fall into his cheeks as he asked her that question that is making him feel terrible.
Roseanna is stuck on her chair her hands stopped moving did not know what will she respond to him, what should she answer to that question?
"I might sound crazy but I need to hear it officially from you Rose, I-I'm suffering, I can't let it e-eat me a-again please I'm begging you say it." Aideen Drew break down crying "I-It hurts. Everything, Everywhere in here reminded me of you, my places leaves so much details of you. I d-don't want It is just s-so unfair that you are now laughing with someone else while I am still holding on to those moments of my life, to those memories" Roseanna gasped, and cover her mouth with her left hand as she looked at the man she once dearly love "Rose, I'm in misery  I can't even afford to love my poor Nathashia, she doesn't deserve me like how you don't deserve me. I can't love her enough to sacrifice everything for her, I can't even sacrifice my memories of you for her. Please tell me to let go of you so that I can love her back much more than she deserves " Aideen stands up and kneel to Roseanna. "Please, I still want to live a happy life"
Roseanna felt a pang of pain on what she is seeing and much bigger pain when he want her to tell him to give her up so that he can love another woman. It pains her and she doesn't know why but it pains her especially when he kneeled. Is that his badly you want to get over me? Wait why am I acting like this? Why am I feeling pain? She asked on her thoughts. She shrugged it off and stands up then squat down
"You can give up on me now Drew, Free yourself. I want you to free yourself because yourself needed you to love him not because she needed you to love him." It was like there's a Trump on her throat because it was hard for her to say that. A tear escape her eyes as she again stared at him. "Our babies are waiting to call you Daddy Drew, so you better be free from what you're suffering now" she tried to surpass her sobs and she did. She went down to her knees and hold Aideen's face guiding his eyes to meet her's. "Free yourself so our kids can hold you" another tear escapes her eyes so he stands up and let out a heavy sighed.
Aideen stands up and hold her shoulders looking as shock as ever.
"What did you say? Our? Our kids?" Aideen is stammering as he asked her.
Roseanna expected that he would know about the kids and ask about them but she's wrong, it was not about the kids that he wanted to talk to her
"Yes, Aideen Drew we have kids. Blaizé and Aehtesia is yours" Roseanna couldn't do anything but to tell him the truth after all that's what she came here for. "Be free from that so you can be with them" Roseanna's eyes stop releasing tears "I planned to hide the fact that they are yours but my kids are just as smart as you are back then, they found that out and asked Jaden how are they not look a like even just a bit" Roseanna distanced herself from him "You can hold, hug and do everything with our kids for you to recover but you ca not do that to me. I have a husband already please respect that, that is also one of the reason why I want you to move on and let go Drew"
"M-my kids, can...can I see them?" Aideen did not mind that he is hurt by the fact that she told him to respect that she already have a husband. Roseanna then nodded
"You can but for now let's just keep our distance this meeting will be bad if they'll see you. My husband does not know everything I'm doing now and we might fight if he will find out what I have done" Roseanna,
"What's the purpose of this when I can't even hug them?" Aideen is a little bit frustrated as of now
"Not now! I am still convincing my husband to agree to let them see and met you, he is still hurt that Blaizé asked him why aren't they look like and said that he is not their father, he loves my kids so let's give him some time to agree" Roseanna explain
'Till this moment all you think about is what your husband will gonna feel, you did not even think how would I feel watching them from a distance just wanting to hold them. You are so cruel to me Roseanna you made me look at you and the kids in a far distance,if only you knew why I did that to you' Aideen said in his thoughts
"When will I be able to see them?" Feeling excited is what Aideen Drew is
feeling right now, he then sat on the chair again like nothing happened, like he did not beg Roseanna a minutes ago, like he did not cry his heart out. Roseanna could not help but to blame herself for what is happening to him. She let out another deep breath
"They are here with Sam. You know Sam right?" Roseanna, Aideen Drew nodded
"Yes, I know her. Let's finish out meal first before you let me see them" Aideen Drew really looks like a fine man right now, He acted as if he was totally okay and that made Roseanna hate that fact. Roseanna let out an another deep breath in and out then she continued to ate her food. She lost count on how many deep breath she let out today.

After they finished eat g Roseanna texted Sam to exit the Restaurant already so that they can follow them. Later on Sam texted back saying they are out already and headed to the park that has a playground near by the restaurant.
"Let's go, they are now headed to the playground in the park" Roseanna informed Aideen Drew so they walk together and followed Sam and the kids. "Make sure there are no photos of us together that will be posted or will flashed in news. Every single one must be deleted"
"No problem, there won't be any." Aideen and typed on his phone texting someone.
Later on they both stopped walking under the three and both watched their children together, as they were watching the kids play a smile, a genuine one slowly flashed in both of their lips, their eyes smiled and, happy face were shown in there faces.
"No wonder I feel a sudden love for him when I first met him on the mall." Aideen is still looking at the kids "Did you know that I already have a hope that they're mine when you went back from hiding with them?" Roseanna look at him and were surprised by what he said, he smiled soundly "I wanted to come to you and ask but I did not, I thought that you may not want me to go to you and ask about them, that you wanted to live without me for the rest of your life so I forgot about that little hope I felt and did not mind it" A sad smiled flashed on his lips and eyes
Roseanna looked away from his sad gaze and looked at their kids "Blaizé is just like you in when you were young." She change their topic "I remember how strict and how afar you were with other people, Blaizé got that from you" She opened up about her son's attitude "Aethesia is a smart young girl, they are both smart and they also got that from you"
"Our girl's eyes is just like yours while Blaizé got the colour of your hair" Aideen smiled, Roseanna's heart was touched as she heard him say their girl.
"Yeah, but most of them came from you. Your genes is sure strong" She shrugged off what she's feeling.
"Is Jaden good to them?" Aideen Drew suddenly asked changing the topic.
"He is, he loves them that us why he is hurt. I remember the 3 years that passed when I was bearing the twins and since the day they came out he was the one who feed and slept with them and when they were still a baby they would not eat if it's not Jaden who's feeding them"
Roseanna was smiling while she recalls that moment.
Didn't notice that Aideen Drew is now looking h t get while Pain is visible in his eyes. Aideen looked away back to their kids.
"Why did you leave me Rose?" Just how he couldn't stop himself asked Roseanna and look back to the kids
Roseanna again looked at him surprised that his bringing that up. Even if he's sideways Roseanna can still see the pain in Aideen Drew's eyes it is as clear as a water.
"In all people you yourself can answer that question Aideen Drew" Roseanna looked away.
'Yeah, I can can't I? I can but why can't I?' Aideen whispered that Roseanna can't hear.
"I'm jealous, I envy Jaden for being with you and for being able to see my kids the day they came out in this world. I'm dead jealous that I want to erase everything in me" Aideen said keeping his tears inside his eyes "On the day you went back here I thought this till be a second chance for me, for us but when heard that you came back wearing your engagement ring and you had the twins my world went down again, it has been crashed a double times just like the day you left me" Aideen continued to express what he really felt and Roseanna was just silent letting him speak freely
"That day I went home in my condo where our story started I went in there for the first time since you left me but I still couldn't step in and decided to go to my parents mansion I locked myself up looking at your picture asking 'How would you come back to me if you are already living the life you dream of?" Aideen laughed but it was clearly fake. He looked at Roseanna but Roseanna didn't looked back at him
"I even said that I did some big mistakes, then how sad that you left me all alone, no goodbyes and without giving me another chance. Why?" In that Roseanna faced him wanting to say something but no words came out of her mouth "Why Rose? Am I not deserving for that second chance?"
Roseanna was speechless and that she even asked herself 'Why? Why did I?'
"I know, I shouldn't have said anything. You already have a husband and I know you don't love me even from the very start well you wouldn't hide from me for 3 straight years knowing that we have them if you do" Aideen again faked a laugh as he looked at their kids "Thank you for this Rose, This will bee enough for me as long as I can see them and soon I can touch them it will be enough to make me happy, totally happy even without you by my side." Roseanna saw a genuine smile formed on his lips, she saw that he is indeed happy ''Maybe I should reconsider Nathashia's love? We'll see" Aideen laughed and this time it was a real one making Roseanna look away.
She doesn't like the last words he spoke. She didn't know why but she doesn't like that fact or joke, whatever it is.
Hours passed by they were both looking over their kids who's having fun by just the two of them then suddenly Roseanna's phone beeps, she took it out of her bag and saw that it was sam
'Roseanna the kids are tired now and it's getting dark soon, we better go' After she read Sam's text message she directly bid her goodbye to Aideen Drew.
"The kids are worn out they probably nedmeds to go home now, it's getting dark" Said Roseanna, Aideen's mood went down
"When will I see them again?" Asked Aideen feeling sad
"I will send a message to you if it'll be fine for us to go out but for now we need to go home Jaden will gonna find us. Don't worry I'll let you meet them again" Roseanna then texted Sam that they'll go
"Till next time Aideen" Roseanna hugged him "I'll be praying for your recovery, goodbye" She then left him in shock
