Chapter 38
Roseanna and the kids hurriedly went home just in time
"You two go to your room" Roseanna holds her two children up to their rooms "Go change your clothes, Blaizé help your sister. I'll change mine before your daddy Jaden arrived" Blaizé nodded at his mother, and run towards their room.
Roseanna also went to her room and changed her clothes. Minutes, after she was done changing, Jaden entered the room
"Hon" Roseanna greeted him with a kiss on the cheeks "Tired?" She asked
Jaden lessen his necktie and lay down on the bed, did not give Roseanna his attention. Roseanna then just sighed and cover Jaden's body with the blanket, she went out after and called her father-in-law, Jaden's dad.
"Roseanna darling, what's up? What made you call me? " Jaden's dad greeted
"Hi Dad, it's nothing just wanna ask if Jaden's company is busy these past few days?" Roseanna asked as she sat on the bench in the garden of their house.
"They are not that busy since last month, why? Is Jaden not home?"
"No, no dad. He's here but he seems so tired. He just went home a minute ago then he fall asleep as soon as he lay on the bed that's why I assume that they are busy?"
"As I know his company is staying still right now, I did not give them much work and there's no project going on. They don't even have a problem. Did you ask him why he's always tired?"
"No dad, I did not ask him. It's ok. He's probably doing something that's why he's been exhausted this past few days" Roseanna let out a heavy breath then smiled, even though he can't see it "I gotta go, Dad, I'll call you back next time. Sorry for the trouble"
"Bye honey, no it's ok. Be well"
"Yes, dad. Thank you" with that Roseanna turned the call off.
ROSEANNA'S (P.O.V)
I wonder what is it that's keeping him busy.
I shrugged off the thoughts that is running through my mind, then I drove myself to the kitchen and started cooking for dinner.
...
I finished cooking at exactly 7 pm so I went up and called the kids first
"Blaizé? Aetheshia? It's time for dinner" I knocked on their rooms, Blaizé dislikes it when someone enters his room without knocking so it became a habit of me to knock on their rooms before entering. "Mommy is entering okay?"
"No, mother you should call daddy Jaden. Let me take care of myself and my sister, we will go downstairs after I finished something" Blaizé stopped me,  I just sighed and stepped back.
"Okay baby, be quick" Sometimes I really forgot that Blaizé is just 8 years old, now I remembered his dad when he was still a kid in Blaizé's age.
"Yes, mother."  He answered so I walked into my room to wake Jaden up.
"Jaden? Hon, it's already 7 pm. Let's eat, it's time for dinner " I said with a soft voice, waking him up. "Hey, hon wakes up now or you'll miss dinner," I added and I leaned over him and sniffed him he wakes up if I do this.
Wait, he smells different. Is this?
I sniffed him again.
Is this a woman's cologne?
My curiosity went up hoping that what I am thinking this time is wrong.
"Jaden!" I yelled at him loud enough that made him wake up
"What? can you not see a person is sleeping?" He yelled back louder than mine making me step back surprised
"It's time for dinner. The kids are already going downstairs, let's eat" I remain calm even though my emotions are batting inside of me with my mind full of questions that need to be answered.
"Is that all? You three can eat without me! What's the point of waking me up? Fuck it I just lost minutes of sleep"
"Pardon me? I don't like the tone of your voice Jaden" My eyebrows furrowed.
"So what? Geez, can you go now? I'm getting my sleep back. You keep on wasting my time " He said still having his irritated face.
"You're tired? Because of what? Entertaining a woman?" My frustration bursts out, that I manage to bring that up.
"Now what? You know I went to the company to work" He tried to hide it but it is visible in his eyes, I saw how fast he changed his reaction from irritated to shock then he quickly changed it back to an irritated face.
"Ow work? Really? Did it make you so exhausted that you'd act like this in front of your wife? What? Does your company now sell woman's perfume? As far as I recall your company is a Batchelor's magazines?" I sarcastically asked trying to keep myself calm
"Yes! What else Roseanna? the company has a problem! I've been busy with work and fuck it just because of this smell? One of the employees showered herself with her perfume and I was walking by so I obviously been sprayed with it." Such a good liar is he? Damn Jaden once I'll catch you you will exist to die painfully.
"Problem? Really now Jaden? I am amazed at how good it are at lying but sad to say I got you." I faked a laugh making him look at me. "I called your father and asked him what's keeping you this bush that after you lay on the bed your knocked out. He said nothing is going on in your company! No projects, no problems no everything! Tell me Jaden, what did you do? I-" I was cut off by him
"Can you just shut up? Shut your fucking mouth up or ill throw you out of this house fuck it. Why don't you just give me a peacefully fucking nap?'' He shouted at me and I was totally dumbfounded by it "Are you just perhaps giving me a clue that your thinking that I'm cheating on you? That I'm having an affair with another woman? Really now Roseanna? How about you? You have been pick up or keep on bumping on Aideen, are you sure that is just a coincidence? Just say it, your flirting with him have you? Well you might have like -" I again burts out in anger and cut him off with a slap. I glared at him with my eyes tearing up and went out.

Roseanna still can't believe what Jade said.
She didn't talk to him since that day till now. It has been 4 days but she really decided to not talk to him or even look at him.
ON THE OTHER SIDE Roseanna's twins are talking about what happened data ago when they eat and played at the play ground.
"I said it, and I'm right. He is our real daddy" Blaizé raised his little hand facing his sister
"I can't believe that mom hide that from us" Aethesia uttered and then shakes her head.
They talked like an adult. The day that Rosea a let Aideen see their kids, Blaizé and Aetheshia accidentally saw their mommy with Aideen looking at them so they pretend to have so much fun and played tag all around the park till they reach the back of the tree where their mommy is. There they heard and knew the truth. They did not mention that to their mommy Roseanna because they know she will just deny it once again.
Roseanna's kids is so damn smart that they know what to do and how to behave and act properly.

Night comes and Jaden went home from work early that Roseanna expected.
"Hey, you're home" Roseanna decided to talk it out and ask something so she greeted him "did you eat already?"
"Yeah, I'm full" Jaden and went to their room. Roseanna then followed him
"Hon, about the kids." Roseanna tried to talk about it again.
"Roseanna, please this will make us argue again" Jaden stopped her.
"That is because you keep on being angry. Can you just understand where I'm coming from?" Roseanna pointed out.
"I am angry! And you know why? It is because you keep on hurting me about that" Jaden stated.
ROSEANNA'S (P.O.V)
"And by being like that means you are not hurting me? Jaden, you're being so busy with your work without even minding me, without minding us "
"And? Damn it Roseanna its work"
"Is your work more important to you than us? Than me?"
"You know what? Let's just shut up"
"Is it that hard to say Jaden? Is it hard to say that you have been cheating on me? That is why you keep on telling me you're busy but the truth is that you are having an affair?"
"Now you're bringing that up again? What the heck? Roseanna, stop saying that, you're making up stories"
"Stories!? What do you think of me? A movie director? A writer? Fuck it Jaden everyone is now talking behind my back because of your stupid act. Everyone keep on saying that you're cheating. You married a famous lady you should act like a noble man for people not to talk bad about us"
"There you go, you have said it. You're saying that because of those unimportant people, you want to keep your popularity! the sophisticated nice Zoey is addicted in popularity what an amazing news will it be? I'm sure-" and again I cut him off with a slap.
"That was for looking down on me, and this" with the other hand I slap him again, hard. "Is for disrespecting me" for the last one I slap him again with the other hand "And that? Is because I'm angry so madly angry with you. I am your wife Jaden, your wife! How can you dare to talk to your wife like that?" With teary eyes I slightly pushed him. I feel like I'm weak. The things that mommy ally taught me had vanished from my head. "I am your wife and you have the will to treat me like this? How dare you!"
"If not that, then you should been acting like this for me to agree about your kids meeting their father? Then fine, so be it. I won't stop you" My world just crushed by how he's acting in front of me.
"Can't we have a normal conversation just like how we used to Jaden? What went wrong? We were happy a few days ago" I am hoping that we will resolve our misunderstandings as I asked him that
"You Roseanna, you went wrong. Yes we we're happy a few days ago not until Aideen showed up facing you " He recalled what happened.
"You know I love you Jaden. Why are you being like this?"
"You are wearing that ring means you respect me being your husband but that's Aideen, it's Aideen we're talking about mentioning him makes your eyes glittered with love. It's not visible but it shows."
"Jaden you knew I have moved on already. You fucking know that" he then smiled sadly at what I've said.
"Yeah right, the question is did you really fully moved on? Or You are just being distracted by me?" Out of nowhere, he doubted me.
It hit me. I dont know why but it did. It also made me question myself, Are you just distracted Roseanna?
I shrugged the thoughts off, No! I am definitely sure that I have moved on.
"What are you speculating Jaden? Will I be marrying you if my heart does not beat for you? You are being so unreasonable lately. Really damn miserable!" I yelled at him loud enough so that the kids won't hear me and I am looking straightly at his eyes "Don't you remember what you said to me the day you ask for my hand?" I smiled at him painfully. " I don't care if you are single or how many dudes are after you. As long as we are together I am willing I work every problems out with you. You have a problem? I'll solve it, you wanna do it alone? I will support you all the way" I uttered the same thing he said to me years ago. He didn't talk and just looks at me, his gaze turns soft as he recall those memories. "You said you'd be my crying shoulder, then why did you became the reason of my tears?" I asked him as the tears that I have been keeping went out of my eyes "Where's the man that I loved? The man that I married?"
"I am not lying to you Roseanna. Don't hurt yourself" I turned around after hearing that
"Remember what I said to you Jaden" I calmed myself "Lie to me once and all your truths will become questionable to me. Just don't let me catch you" I said then I went out crying.

"Hon? Come on talk to me" Jaden softly called for Roseanna
Roseanna has not been talking to him since yesterday.
"Honey?" Hey, are you still mad? I did not mean to argue with you, I'm sorry" Jaden keep on talking, Roseanna can't stand it si she talk to him.
"Call the kids, we're leaving" Roseanna  then Jaden directly went upstairs to call the kids.
Roseanna couldn't help but to chuckle at how he's acting. Roseanna is not selfish when it comes to all things, she easily forgive anyone that's why she have trust issues one single lie will lead into a huge lie and all of the words that will come out in your mouth will be all lies in her perspective.

The kids were sleeping on the back as they travel back to her home land. They were excited to see what Italy looks like that the two of them almost stayed all night talking about Italy.
"About what you were asking for, since a few days ago" Jaden opened up a topic, Roseanna just innocently look at him looking like she didn't get it. "About the kids meeting their dad" Jaden sighed and hold Roseanna's hands where their wedding ring was on "As long as your wearing this ring, everything is okay." He smiled at Roseanna and nodd " I should say yes right? The kids has their own rights to meet their real dad" He hold her hand tighter, Roseanna smiled and kissed him on his lips
"Thank you hon, I love you" Roseanna then hug her husband.
They stayed in that position till she fell asleep.

As they finally arrived in Roseanna's grandma's house and everyone welcomed them outside with open arms
"Roseanna!" Klarein shouted seeing her. She laughed and opened her arms widely, then Klarein hug her "Youre finally back. Gosh I can finally be free and just chill in the company" She then let go of their hug.
"Is there so much to do?" Roseanna laughed, feeling sorry.
ROSEANNA'S (P.O.V)
"She is just over reacting, though it is a good thing your finally here now. Is it still not for good?" Travis appeared, Klarein glared at him and I went over him and give him a hug.
"Yeah, still not. My husband still needs to work. You can manage the company right? I know it's in good hands" I then let go of our hug and went to Jaden, he directly placed his hand on my waist. Travis nodded and went to the car where the twins are.
"Alright, Alright. Okay you're the one with a husband, lucky you" Klarein made face.
"Still looking at Travus are you?" I whispered made her eyes widen. She took a glance at Travis who's now talking with my kiddos.
"F you Roseanna. I'm done with him ok?" She did not look back at me.
"Ow really?" I wanted to teased her so badly.
"Come on. Stop teasing me!" She made a face again. "Hey Travis, you should talk to your cousin. I'm done with her" She called Travis and he went over with an asking face.
"What's up with that weird face of her?" He curiously asked then nod at Jaden.
"Just her usual irritated face" I chuckles looking at Klarein who's now walking, or should I say stomping her way in to the house "You? How's life? Anything interesting you have been doing lately?" I turned my gaze at Travis
"Managing your business of course, what else? And I don't have any time to I anything interesting" He made a face and rolled his eyes.
"Yeah? Well thank you for that. Your still single?" I keep bringing up questions as we walk inside the house, his face really looked like he remembered something, someone to be specific "Ow I see" My teasing voice pops up.
"Apparently no, do you mind staying for good so that I can have a girlfriend? Damn, I'm now 32 yet I'm still single" he whined
"Sorry dead cousin of mine, but I can't. Don't worry I will tell Lianna to not get married or have a boyfriend until you will be free to run to her" I winked at him making him look at me with a 'you're so weird face'
"Seriously? I told you she and I don't have something else" He defense, and we stopped walking towards the house.
"Your so defensive cousin, well then if that's true then why did you stayed single for years? I mean there's a lot of pretty, well educated girls out there waiting for you to court them" I moved my shoulders up and down in front of him, and his annoying face finally pops up in his face "see? It's all because you're waiting for a chance to get Lianna, am I right? Right?" I moved my face closer to him, he then looked at Jaden.
"Just look how bully your wife is. Mind if I punch her?" Travis talked to Jaden did not mind what I said and pushed my head away from him, I pouted and then Jaden just laughed at us.
"I wouldn't dare If I were you" Jaden, still laughing and hold my waist again.
"Yeah, gross" Travis shrugged, then he walks out from us.
"Let's go inside" I pull Jaden and looked at the kids who's now with Travis and Klarein "Bring them in after you all done playing Travis, Klarein. Okay?" I slightly shouted loud enough for them to hear me.
"Yes mommy Roseanna" Klarien shouted back acting like a baby while Travis nodded and waved his hands. I laughed then Jaden and I both went inside the house.
