Chapter 43
ROSEANNA'S (P.O.V)
I held his hands for the first time since then, I again had the chance to hold his hands. "Thank you so much Drew" I closed my eyes as I felt his gentle hands on my cheeks. This hands of him have always been gentle towards me. I did not have any wounds, not a scar the only thing this hands of him gave to me was the feeling of his love, his gentle love.
"I would do anything Rose, Anything to protect you" he sat down on my hospital bed and he held my hands with both hands. "I admit I became a coward for not fighting for my love for you because of what happened. It became my excuse for being a coward" he started to open up too.
"But me being a coward does not mean that I don't love you enough. I love you so damn much Roseanna" his voice and face softened as he showed me his emotions.
"Drew" the only thing I could do was to call his name.
"I know, I shouldn't be saying this now but I am saying this" he chuckled and that made me laugh too "Someday Rosea. I hope that someday I will have another chance to tell you the reason why I kidnapped and enslaved you" that moment when he mentioned the past when he kidnapped me, my whole body became attentive. "Yes, Rose I have my reason, it has a reason why I needed to do that and that is not just because I want you to be mine."
"Why? What is it? Can't you just tell that to me right now?" My curiosity raises as his as him.
"No, let us make your case be okay first and you will have all the answers you want. For now, I will let you hate those times" Drew smiled, it was a sad one. I know it's his forced kind of smile. I did not ask again seeing how he became serious. "Starting today onwards I will fight for you Rose. I will not be a coward again. I will show everyone how I love you, even if it can't be shown back to me" my heart skipped a beat hearing all of those sweet words from him.
My mind and heart went crazy and only he and he himself can do that to me. Even Jaden who's my husband can't do it.
We started at each other's eyes, then his face went closer and closer till my nose met his. I did not know why but I close my eyes only to feel his kiss on my forehead.
"I love you Roseanna Zoey" before I could even react his phone buzzed.
"Hello?" He picked up and greeted then he glances at me. "The twins are asking for you" he whispered, I smiled and nodded as I ask for the phone "ok mommy is awake now, she'll talk to you" with that he handed me the phone, and I put the call on speaker mode "Hello? Babies?" I spoke to the both of them
"Mommy, are you ok now? Daddy told us you have a booboo" my little girl's voice greeted me. It made me look at Drew whose eyes have been focused on me. I blinked then looked away
"Baby, mommy is alright now" I assured herself because she sounds so worried
"Yehey, daddy made his promise come true. Did you hear that Blaizé?" Aetheshia sounds happy now
"Yes, I heard it. Anyways mom?" Blaizé's ever so mature voice called me
"Yes, darling? What is it?"
"Can we visit you?" Blaizé asked, again I looked at Aideen Drew raising an eyebrow, he nodded so I smiled.
"Yes honey, you two can visit me here. I'll talk to dad" Still looking at Aideen Drew as I've mentioned dad made me so awkward then I cleared my voice "I mean I'll talk to you daddy Drew"
AIDEEN DREW'S (P.O.V)
I may sound like an evil man no but I want to thank Jaden for what he has done, the way Roseanna talks to our kids makes me feel what a family feels like. The feeling that was empty since the day that I was born was suddenly went full and overflowing. I nodded at Roseanna who was raising her brow, she then showed a smile
"Yes honey, you can you two can visit me here. I'll talk to dad" I was staring at her showing no emotions but deep inside of me feels so happy that I want to jump, her stare became so awkward that she cleared her voice "I mean I'll talk to you daddy Drew" I never thought how wonderful, beautiful my second name is not until she keeps on saying it and I heard it beautifully the most when she put the word, dad, before it. I smiled after hearing that "You'll get them?" She asks
"I have obviously can't leave you here. I'll just tell my butler to drive them here" I shake my head.
"Okay" she then talk to our kids again "You two give the phone to the butler. Daddy Drew wants to speak to him" she then handed the phone to me. I turn off the speaker mode and put the phone on my ears.
"Hello?"
"Yes, Mr. Stone" my Butler answered
"You will drive the kids here" I ordered him, I suddenly felt awkward so I looked at Rose, she was glaring at me, I blinked and give her an innocent look.
"Yes sir"
"By the way, be careful with them, if something happens to them even if there's a small scratch I will gonna kill you" Warning him even if I know nothing will happen to them, I guess that's a hint of an over protective father?
"Yes, of course, Mr. Stone I will take them in there safe and sound, no scratches"
"That's all, drive them here after lunch" I ended the call while still looking at Rose
"Why are you so bossy towards your butler?" Her eyebrows creased
"Uh? Because I am his boss?" I said, with a questioning tone of voice. "Nevermind, how did you know he's a he?"
"I just know. My instinct told me that he's a he, after all, aren't most of the butler's a he?" She moved her shoulders up and down
"Are you sure that you are not mistaken?" I wanted to tease her, but I guess I can't
"Ow, so your butler's a she? So she's a woman?"  Her tone changed and looks at me the same way, I blinked twice. Is she mad?  I think she's mad, but why would she be mad? I don't think she's mad.
"No, he's a he" I directly confessed.
"Then why are you asking how sure am I that he's a he? I guess your butler must be a she?" She said straight made me confused about what we are doing right now. I think she just spoke English with her Italian accent. I shake my head
"are we arguing? Ah, I don't know, I did not get you." I shake my hands in front of her face "I don't even get what we are doing, saying he's a he, she's a she like huh?" She laughed after I said all of that.
"Are you mad? Why does your face looks like you're mad?" She asked still laughing slightly?
"No, I'm not mad" I directly smiled, why is she acting this way? She looked at me intensely,
"So? Is he a he or is she a she?" There she goes with that he she he she again. I stared at her then we burst out laughing at each other.
"Are you speaking in English with your Italian accent? Rose I couldn't get your words right" I complained.
It took us a while of arguing because of her tone.
"God it's a basic English yet you can't understand?" She teased me, asking. But before I could answer her the door went open, then two little kids run towards us.
"Mommy," Blaizé called her mother.
"Daddy" while my little girl called me. I smiled at the sight of them.
"Ow, he's a he" Roseanna murmured, I just laughed at her
"Mommy, I didn't know your booboo is in your face. You said it's better now, does it still hurt?" Aetheshia asked after being lift up by me. My worried little girl looks so beautiful with her crumpled face as she's looking at her mother's scars,
"Yeah mommy when will you be able to go out?" Blaizé asked trying to sit his little but on the high chair. I laughed at how cute he looks and then helped him sit straight faxing his mother.
"I will ask the doctor okay?" Roses na smiled.

Roseanna, Blaizé, Aideen and Aetheshia spends their time on the hospital, they became a family if you look at them. They were laughing so hard, enjoying each other's company, that they did not notice Roseanna's Grandma, Mama, Sam and Rico looking at them from the open foot.
"They finally looked like a complete happy family" Sam smiled tearing up. Her boyfriend Rico agreed to her.
"The family that they both wanted" Rico's face flashed a sweet smiled.
"Should we disturb them?" Roseanna's Mama asked then quietly cleared her throat. "I don't think we should"
"We should let them be today" Roseanna's Grandmother also smiled.
"Roseanna doesn't look like she's in deep pain right now, unlike yesterday" Sam mentioned.
"As they said laughter is the best medicine through all pain well I guess it is true" Roseanna's Grandma is smiling while looking at them. "And that will cure the both of them, Roseanna and Aideen." Roseanna's Grandma said deeply. Rick now that Roseanna might be the cure of Aideen Drew's mental health problem.
"If only they could continue their tragic story right not, starting today, and make it into a happy ending they will totally heal" Rico was smiling while he said that,
"They will, I am definitely sure about that. They will replace those tragic chapters of their life with a happy one. Let's watch, wait and see. I will bet all of my assets on that one." Roseanna's Grandms holds her laugh and took a deep breath, the three of them, Rico, Sam and Allyson went all speachless after she uttered her assets thinking damn she really is rich "let's go, one more minute and Aideen will notice us. His son had noticed us earlier I just made him shush, like father like son" Roseanna's Grandma moved her shoulders up and down and with that the four of them walk their way out, closed the door as quietly as they can.
AIDEEN'S (P.O.V)
What therapy could b as effective as seeing the woman you love having her time laughing with your kids and you?
This is the bay therapy I had ever have. I stopped playing and stared at the three of them laughing, a minute after watching them Aethesia suddenly jump to sit on my lap.
"You startled me young girl" I jokingly pinched the bridge of her nose and she giggled in her sweet face. I smiled and looks at Blaizé and Rose who is smiling at us "What?" M and my little baby girl both asked at the same time. Making all of us laughed again, then suddenly the door went open showing Jaden with sweats all over his face. I stood up and block his sight to Rose and my kids.
"Daddy Jaden?" Aetheshia called with her question tone.
"Hon" Jaden uttered calling Roseanna, my hands turns into fist
"Aideen" Thankfully Rico showed up with Sam.
"Can you take the kids out of here? Please?" I looked at Rico and Sam. Rick nooded and Sam looks at Roseanna with a worried face "I'll take care of her, please take the kids out" Sam nodded as she went in pushing Jaden aside, then went to Aetheshia
"Go with mommy Sam and Daddy Rico for now okay? I'll go get you both later" I kissed my little girl's forehead and pat my little boy gently. Both of them nodded and look down as they went to their mommy Sam, without looking at Jaden they walk out of here.
"Hon" his tears started to flow.
"Hon? Can you hesr yourself clearly Jaden? Hon? You have the guts to call her hon right now?" I burst out in anger but then Rose held my fist, calming me "Get out of here Jaden "Get out of here Jaden, get out of here now!" I calmed myself and took a deep "Get out of here Jaden you know you won't like it if I lose my temper"
The perks of this man running in here after he did all of that. I am busy surpassing my anger when suddenly Roseanna pressed my hand and hold it tighter, it calmed me a little, I looked at her hand in mine and then looks at her, she shakes her head and give me a reassuring smile. I let out a deep breath and calm myself.
"What do you want?" She turn her gaze to Jaden who's now looking at our hands. She didn't took her hands off of mine and give Jaden an emotionless look. Even if she do all of that I can still take a glimpse on what she's really feeling and that is pain.
"Hon, can- can we talk? Please talk to me" he pleaded, but his eyes is still on my hands and Roseanna's.
"We are now talking, speak what you want to speak" Roseanna's eyes looks scary without any emotions.
"Zoey please" he really is begging.
"Your going to talk or leave?" Her tone is ordering anyone who is listening and do what she wanted you to do.
"Okay, okay I'll talk" Jaden took a deep breath and let it out. "A-about the, about the baby, t-tell me how is, how is she/him?" A tear fell on his cheek
"He's dead. You killed him, weren't you updated?" Her hold on my hand became tighter than earlier. She's holding back her emotions, I know it.
"B-but why don't you look s-sad? Jaden's eyebrow furrowed looking St her "don't tell me you're happy about it?"
"Yes, yes I am. I am happy that he died so that he would not know he had a father like you"
"How dare you be happy?" Jaden yelled, Roseanna and I were both surprised at the sudden change of emotion. I tried to let go of her hand but she hold it much tighter. I looked at her with a 'let me go' face. "Ah, so this is it? You're happy because you'll finally be with him? Hah! Look at you saying I'm cheating but you were the one who is doing that, can't you find back your itch towards him? Hah! This is so fucking funny I-" I cut him off with a strong punch when Roseanna let go of my hand.
"Fuck you Jaden! Just fuck you!" I hissed.
"No, fuck you! You are not a real man! You let a woman control you? Hah! A woman is nothing but a woman who can benefits us in bed!" And with that he ate another strong punch from me making his lips bleed.
"No, you are the one who isn't a real man!" I am holding my anger as much as I can right not, afraid that I'll punch him into pieces and make Rose mad "Do you know what really is a real man? Huh?" I pushed him towards the the door "A real man won't hurt his woman with his own hands. A real man won't hit a woman!"
"What do you know? You act as if you're a Saint right now but you kidnapped Roseanna and raped her" he laughed like an idiot.
"I have a reason to that!" I yelled at him, my hands shaking to punch him till his death "just like what you asked me, what do you know." I pushed him out of the hospital room "This will be the last time you'll go that near from her Jaden! She will divorce you and file a charge if you won't sign!" It's that last word I shut the door close and went over to Rose.
"Is he gone?" She asked, I just nodded then with that the tears that she held back earlier went down falling to her cheeks.
He has a great impact on you Roseanna, a great big one and I am cursing him for that. Why can't he just disappear from you? I want to kill him but I couldn't dare to do it because I know you love him even though all of that pain. Such a lucky bastard he is.
"Cry Roseanna, just cry. Let it all out" I pat her head.
Cus someday, next time Roseanna I will not going to let you cry this hard. Not again. Even if you will not be in my side I will let no one, no one.
I thank Jaden for treating my kids right and loved them because if not I will kill him not having half mind.
