Chapter 36
Roseanna's (P.O.V) 
It's been a week since Grandma and I talked about him.
I again went to Grandma's place to talk about my company in Italy and Jaden called again angrily wanting me back home so I decided to go and it took me an hour to go back home from Grandma's
"What took you so long?" He is standing right beside the door looking so irritated as he ask me.
"It usually take an hour of driving from Grandma's place to here. What is wrong with you? You keep on calling me whenever I go there" My eyebrows meet each other as I can't understand him.
"The kids is in their room they won't talk to me" He went up after saying that. Is that his only problem? I look at him going up so I shake my head and then went to my kids.
"Blaizé? Aethesia? Mommy is home" I called them on still outside of their room before I opened the door and went in.
"Mommy's back" Aethesia run to me, Blaizé hugs my leg and pull my hands for him to kiss my cheeks
"Hi mom" Blaizé greeted after he kissed my cheeks
"Kindly explain why did daddy Jaden said to me that you two won't talk to him?" I looked at the both of them as soon as they sat on their own beds
"It's Blaizé's fault mommy. He said that we should not talk to daddy" Aethesia pointed at her brother. I look at Blaizé with a questioning look, he pouted.
"I asked daddy Jaden why we were born year's before your marriage" Balizé said as if he understands a lot than me.
"And then?" I inquired him being able to get my shock back
"He did not answer me so I said to daddy Jaden that he is not our real father then surprisingly he got mad at me and raise a voice so I told Aethesia to not speak to him because he is so guilty with his actions" He gasped for air after he said that straight.
"Blaizé why did you said that to your daddy Jaden? You are still a kid you should not talk that way to your father" I raised an eyebrow at him,
"Mommy, the more I observe daddy Jaden the more I can't tell why am I not look even just slightly like him? And ow ow. You remember when I got lost in the mall?" He raised his hand
"What about it?" I asked him, I know he's going to ask about Aideen Drew
"Remember the old man that helped me?" I'm right, he did. I nodded at him "I look exactly like him mother did you not noticed that? And Aethesia looks like him too" he said that made me speechless. He even notice that?
"Yeah mommy, if I remember correctly Blaizé he is not that old. I think he isn't that old like maybe much older than mommy" Aethesia also raised her hands "He has my lips and cheeks mother" My little girl and boy looks at me innocently.
"Babies, can you stop asking mommy for now? Mommy is tired from driving. Let mommy take a rest okay?" I asked them, it is the only way to stop them from asking about Aideen Drew.
"Okay mommy, we're sorry" Blaizé then made a sad face
"But mommy you need to promise us that you will let us see that man again, okay mommy?" Aethesia showed me her little pinky finger.
"Yes, yes. Mommy promise us" Blaizé second voice his sister and raise his pinky finger too. I sighed, didn't have a chance to stop them.
"Okay, okay mommy promise" I then sealed it with our pinkies, they jump in joy.
"Yey, mommy you better remember. Promises needs to be fulfilled" Balizé
"Thank you mommy, you can rest now. Have a good rest" Aethesia smiled widely.
"Love you mommy" Blaizé, I smiled at him and aethesia. He don't usually say I love you to me and to his little sister and Jaden.
"Ow, ow. I love you mommy" Aethesia
"Love you both" I then hugged the both of them before walking out of their room.
I went to out room and saw Jaden on the bed laying with closed eyes. As I saw him I remembered what Aethesia and Blaizé asked me to do. I sighed and closed the door, walk towards him and lay in the bed. I huged him while his back is facing me.
"Blaizé desperately want to see Aideen again. Blaizé wanted to see him because he realized that his face and Aideen's are almost a carbon copy" I muttered, he then move a little
"And?" I wasn't surprised that he's awake.
"I didn't want them to live with a feeling of incomplete so I said yes. Grandma similarly wanted the same way, she-" Jaden cut me off
"You said what?" He asked, suddenly he rise from laying and sat down "you said yes?" He removed my hand that's hugging him.
"Look let me explain. Grandma wants my kids to not be blind and to not be hidden from the truth, and I - I also want that because my mother would do that is she's here with us" I explained and I also sat down, he looked at me amused.
"And? Did you ask me about it?" Jaden raised his voice to his own wife "You know what? Whatever. I won't agree" he lay down again turn his back at me "They will grow apart from me" he added.
"Jaden, hon come on. Let's not be selfish okay? Let's at least tell Aideen and the kids. They deserve the truth" I keep on convincing him "I just want my kids to feel the warmth of their father's hugs because I didn't have that. I did not felt my father's embrace in me. Would we just wait till it's over? When they won't have their chance?" My voice began to smooth, talking about my father.
"Shut up Roseanna Zoey. I don't want to hear any of your excuses for Aideen"
"But it isn't. It is not an excuse, well if you think it is then it's not for him. Jaden, please let's -" once again he cut my words off.
"Shut up Roseanna. Can't you understand the word shut up? Shut up if you don't want me to curse at you, for gods sake I also don't want that"
The tone of his voice shut me up. I sighed and didn't talk again and let him sleep.
You did not curse at me but your tone of voice did.
I lay down and turn my back at him before I closed my eyes.

Morning came, Jaden is not talking to Roseanna.
Roseanna walks up towards the kids room to wash them for breakfast
"We will go to great grandmother's place today. She wants to see you two" Roseanna break the silence at their dining table "are you coming with us?" She looks at her husband who is not talking to her,
Jaden could not do anything but to respond, the kids are looking up to him. wanting to hear his respond to his wife
"No, I am needed in the company" Jaden then looked at the kids then back at Roseana "I will just drive you there", he then looked back at his plate that's almost empty
"No, I mean you don't have to. The company is on the other road" Roseanna felt the urge to say no "I can drive us there"
"Okay then, I'll wrap up first and gom I'll see you three tonight" Jaden drink his coffee and he stand up, washed his hands before he went to the kids to kiss their heads and bend over to Roseanna to kiss her cheeks. Roseanna sighed
"Okay, take care. Drive safety" Roseanna forced a smile. Jaden holds her cheeks before he go. Roseanna look at her kids
"Eat up and finished that so we can go see your great grandma." She pat the kids heads then stand up
"Yes mommy" Aethesia
"Yes mother" Blaizé
When Roseanna and her kids finished eating they prepared their things for their day at their great Grandma's house.
"Blaizé go get your sister and go inside the car" Roseanna said to her son while packing some clothes for the both of her kids
"Okay" Blaizé then went downstairs to call his sister "Aethesia? Mother said we will be going. Let's go to the car" Blaizé is such a smart kid supper smart that others might think that he's a teenager already. For a 7 years old boy he sure is handy for his mother to ask him to look over his sister.
Roseanna finished packing their things on the kids little bags, so she directly went to the car.
"Let's buy Grandma some coffee?" Roseanna asked the kids
"Yea, Great Grandma would love that" Aethesia smiled gorgeously.
"Let's go to Starbucks, Great Grandma loves the coffee in Starbucks." Blaizé second voice his sister.
"Okay, to Starbucks we go. Put on your seatbelts" Roseanna then started driving
While they're on their way to the Starbucks, the engine suddenly went off. "Shit" Roseanna cursed at the sudden stop of the car. She check if the kids were okay.
"Mommy? What's wrong?" Anesthesia asked worried.
"Are you two okay?" Roseanna asked her kids, The two nodded
"Wait here I'll go check the engine out" Roseanna then went out the car.
The front is smoking hot as she looked at it. She does not know how to fix this and was about to call her husband when someone's car beeped at her. She looked at the car, eyes widen after she saw Aideen Drew.
"Are you okay Mrs. Zoey?" Asked by the girl beside Aideen Drew, he's not alone.
"Ah, my engine went off. I think there's something in here" Roseanna answered and took off his gaze at Aideen and looked at her car. "We're okay though, thank you." She smiled
"Oee, no. We're are you heading? We'll ride you there" it was Nathasia who's with him
"Ow, thank you, that is so nice of you, we'll be alright. I will call my husband, hell be here so yeah" Roseanna then waved her phone and dialed her husband's number, it took a while ringing but no one answered. She awkwardly looked at Aideen and Nathasia.
"And? Let's go." Nathasia smiled
"It'll be a hassle, are you sure? Aren't you two catching some time?" Roseanna then looks at Aideen who is not talking.
"No it won't, silly" Nathasia laughed cutely "right babe?" She asked Aideen.
"Ah, no. It won't be a hassle to drive you off" Aideen did not stop his mouth from saying such words, Roseanna looked surprised "I mean, you don't want to refuse my girlfriend's offer right? You three can hop in. We'll call someone to pick and fix your car up" Aideen said refusing to look at Roseanna's eyes. Roseanna then sighed.
"Okay then, if you insist to. Thank you" Roseanna showed an genuine smile right at the same time Aideen looked at her. Aideen can't take his gaze off Roseanna while she knock the window of the back seat of her car where the kids are "Blaizé? Aethesia? Come on out, mommy's car is broken" she talked to her kids, the kids went out of the car. Blaizé looked at Aideen Drew's car.
"Where are we going to ride now mommy?" Aethesia who's always curious asked her mom.
"With them, were going to ride with them baby. they offered a ride" Roseanna pointed Aideen Drew and Nathasia
"Come here kiddies, we will drive of to where you're going" Nathasia smiled at the kids.
Roseanna and the kids went inside Aideen Drew's car.
"He's the one who looked exactly like me" Blaizé whispered to his sister, Aethesia.
"Yeah, now that I see him up close, you really do look like a carbon copy of him." Aethesia whispered back to her brother.
"Kids lets stay quiet okay?" Roseanna shush her kids off by whispering at them then took a glance at Aideen Drew she looked at the mirror and their eyes met, did not expect that to happen, she blinked a few time.
"So where are you three heading?" Nathasia asked her, then looked at them.
"I'm. Just drop us off in the Starbucks. I will just call someone to pick us up in  there. Thank you" Roseanna said, without her trying her tone of voice sounded classy.
"Okay, babe? Let's do to Starbucks." Nathasia said to her boyfriend "babe? Babe!" She called him twice, after her boyfriend did not respond.
"Uh? Ow, yeah. Where to?" Aideen Drew asked confused.
"What's wrong with you? Nevermind. We'll drop them off in front of the Starbucks." Nathasia,
Roseanna just stayed silent and looked outside the window. Her kids is still whispering something to each other.
"By the way are your husband so busy? Why didn't he picked up your call?" Nathasia suddenly asked making Aideen listen attentively. Roseanna then smiled at her
"Yeah, he is indeed kinda busy right now. He had been attending meetings at the company" Roseanna said, still smiling.
"If I were him you will be more important than my meetings, just one ring from you and I will answer" Aideen joined their conversation making both of the girls look at him. You will never prioritize me, and you never did.- Roseanna thought
"Yeah, Aideen love his job but he loves me more. He would always come to me even if he's in some important meeting" Nathasia laughed. I raised my right eyebrow.
"Ow, really? I did not experience that" Roseanna's tone changes couldn't help but mentioned it.
Those times where she had to beg him to answer her calls.
The times when she's in deep physical pain he did not answer any of her call. Aideen is shocked that she mentioned it in that sentence, he suddenly pushed the break, Roseanna hugs her Kids. Those sentence may not understood by Nathasia but he clearly understand it. That's one of the reason he keep asking himself.
"Babe! Drive safely" Nathasia
"Sorry, sorry" Aideen looked at Roseanna using the mirror, he tilted his head. Was that for me?. He then shook his head. "Are you three okay?" He asked Roseanna
"Uh, yeah. We're okay" Roseanna
"You really did not experience that at all? Men in love usually do that" Nathasia looked amazed.
"I mean I did not experience that indeed, so I guess he did not love me enough? I mean to do that" Roseanna chuckled looking at Aideen on the mirror. Then again their gaze met. Roseanna looked at Nathasia who's shocked by what she said.
"That's a funny one, HAHAHA I mean who wouldn't love you hard? He must be crazy" Nathasia jokingly uttered the last words. Roseanna just smiled. "Well it's different from the very start right?"
"Yeah, it does. We are now married and we already have kids so it's different" Rosesnna explained
"Ah, really? I don't quite understand" Nathasia laughed so Roseanna laughed too "I guess I'm not ready for that matter," She slightly became serious.
"You will understand if you two will be married to each other" Roseanna said, Aideen once again hit the breaks. Roseanna and Nathasia both looked at him. Are you acting like that because cause of me Aideen Drew?.
"Sorry, again. There's a bird." Aideen apologize then drive again.
"Seriously?" Nathasia rolled her eyes "Your kiddos really look cute together aren't they?" Nathasia said, she keep on looking at the both of them.
"Yeah, they indeed are. They looked two peas in a pot" Roseanna proudly compliment her kids.
"They don't look like you not Jadens, I wonder is that's possible? Like to not look like any of your parents?" Nathasia's curiosity went up.
"Yeah, many do say that" Roseanna them took a glance on Aideen who's now driving seriously.
"That is because Daddy Jaden isn't our real Daddy" Blaizé answered, and then for the third time Aideen Pushed a breaks again, shock by what Blaizé said. Well he isn't the only one who's shock. Roseanna is also dumbfounded by her little boy.
"What the hell babe?" Nathasia asked irritated by her boyfriend.
"What did you just say little boy?" Aideen did not mind his girlfriend, instead he raised a question to the little kid.
"Daddy Jaden isn't our real daddy? I think -" Blaizé did not have the chance to continue what he's about to say when his mother covered his mouth with her hands. Aideen looked at Roseanna's hand who's covering the little boy's mouth and then his gaze traveled to Roseanna's face. Roseanna let out an awkward smile.
"Ow, Jaden and him is not on good terms that is why he's saying that" Roseanna then laughed a little. Aideen shook his head and drove again, Nathasia laughs and looked forward.
Roseanna removed her hands from her son's mouth and give Blaizé a shush look
"But mommy said that lying is a bad thing" Blaizé commented.
"No I'm not lying" Roseanna forced a laugh.
"Yes you are, right Aethesia? Mommy is lying" Blaizé then glared at his mother. "And ow, you mister and I have the same face don't you think? Well not just me but also my sister. Maybe you are indeed my real Daddy?" Blaizé talk as if he is already 18 years old. Roseanna, Aideen and Nathasia we're all shocked at the kid "Did you have perhaps a relationship with my mother in the past?" That was the most shocking thing Blaizé had said. He asked that as if he knew what the word relationship means.
"Yes, and then daddy Jaden shouted at us after Blaizé had said that" Aethesia supported her brother with a serious tone but her face looks so innocent.
It would be so awkwardly displeasing if Nathasia did not laughed and speak up.
"HAHAHA, your kids is so funny Mrs. Zoey" Nathasia
"Ah, yeah HAHAHA. They both like to talk as if they are a grown up already" Roseanna laughed too.
She took a glance at Aideen again only to find out that he is indeed so serious looking at her, their eyes met. Roseanna directly looked away. They became quiet.
"We're here, This is the one right? I mean there are a lot of Starbucks place" Nathasia gave them a laughed.
"Ow okay, this is the one. "  Then they went out. "Thank you for the ride. I'll maybe treat you someday?" Roseanna thanked them politely as she asked. Aideen and Nathasia both looked at her with a shock face, they didn't think she'll say that "well a return for your kindness if you don't mind"
"Ow, no. Your thank you will do and-" Aideen cut his girlfriend off.
"Sure that'd be great. You're going to text me if that day comes so mind if I have your number?" Aideen handed his phone, Roseanna and Nathasia we're both shock by him. Roseanna then blinked many times before she accepted the phone. not wanting anymore conversation she type her number and gave back the phone to Aideen." Thank you" that was all he said then he went silent.
"It's okay if you won't text Mrs. Zoey, I know you're a busy woman" Nathasia smiled.
"Nath, it's well mannered to accept someone's thank you in return for your kindness besides Mrs. Zoey is a Sophisticated woman she'll be off if we won't accept her way of thank you" Aideen explained. Nathasia awkwardly laughed.
"O-ow, okay. Thank you Mrs. Zoey, if you won't mind we will be going now" Nathasia smiled and waved so Roseanna smiled back elegantly after that Aideen drove off.
