Stella Phillips, yeah.... That's the Stella I dated back in my days in school, she's the same girl standing some distance away from us, taken aback by our presence that she let go of the plates she was about to serve the next customer three tables away from us, her eyes were fixed on us, on me actually. This was a famous restaurant known around the City, at least she's working at a good level any waitress could wish for, I never knew that I will be able to see her again, at least not today.
Jackie's eyes were now on her, looking to see what really made the noise just like I did, she waved on the air when she recognized that the waitress standing there in shock looking at us was the same well known Stella Phillips back in school, the senior cheerleader for the basketball team.
A man came out of nowhere wearing a nice suit, he didn't speak to Stella, just walked past her as he began apologizing to the customer she was about to serve, I think that's the manager or maybe the man in charge of the restaurant in place of the manager.
Our attention never left there until the man was done with his apology and then commanded Stella to follow him, right from here, I can see the tears in her eyes, the light in the restaurant was reflecting on her face and the glittering liquid on her face was her tears.
Both of us turned back together when we saw her follow up with the man who commanded for her presence inside, “ You recognize her right?....”, I asked Jackie, she replied with a nod of her head. Stella really hasn't changed much, she still looked the same but a bit mature than back in highschool, I have no much memory left of her in my head, the only time I usually remember about her face was during our date too when we went for the swimming at the beach, it was a happy memory and that's the only thing I wish to remember about her, not the sad ones she caused.
“ I hope the distraction isn't ruining your mood?...”, I asked Jackie who was now back to looking face down. “ I was a bit jealous seeing the way you looked at her, not that it made me mad, but it's just that I want to be the only figure that brings that look to your face....”, she said with a smile.
A part of my heart is telling me that I won the lottery for the best girl while the other part has the same similar information but different, the other part of my heart has this feeling that I have the girl any man can ever wish for. 
One of the million things I admire about Jackie is that she speaks whatever that is going on her mind if you asked to know or can I say I am the only one she's answerable to about what's in her mind. She's not complicating things, that's actually the way sister Benita trained them, but I believe that so many of the other girls have changed their part coming into the outside world, but Jackie, Jackie is still that brand as new girl who just came out from the Orphanage, having the same abilities she was trained up with.
“ So what do you think princess?, Should I walk around blindfolded from now on so that I wouldn't get to admire other beautiful girls out there like you?”, I asked playfully to see her reaction.
“ If I would be the one to direct you while you are blindfolded, it's fine by me and I would never allow your feet to hit on a stone as far as I am guarding your path ”, she replied. A new smile crept in into my face, she was speaking exactly what she wanted if that happens to be the situation, I guess I should always be prepared for what's coming, even if she doesn't become like other girls and leave me heartbroken, I still believe that she will still leave me one day by natural cause and I should brace up for that kind of pain when it hits because this girl right before me is everything I have ever asked for, peace.
We were about to leave when we heard the sound of the sobbing coming from the extreme side of the restaurant, it was their back door and I think both of us knew who that was.
“ I would have asked for us to go and see what's happening to her, but knowing that she has a past with someone I can't live without, I guess it's a wrong idea presenting ourselves before her, best we allow her to accept what life brought back to her than bringing ourselves a new problem that was never ours ”, Jackie said looking up at me. I was never considering going there but that doesn't mean that I don't care about the reality that just struck her, I just waved my head out of pity, looked at Jackie who was already looking back at me as if she was waiting for me to make a certain decision, I looked away avoiding those piercing eyes.
“ I think it's about time we leave from here My princess....”, I said to her, a smile creeping into that blank look on her face, I put my hand across her neck as hers went around my waist as we left the area.
I wanted to take her back home but she said she will only if I would stay there for the night with her, I guess both of us want the same thing but just trying to act mature on our first date, I drove her to the hotel where I have been lodging and we make our way up the elevator, looks like it's about time I start looking for somewhere to call a home.
