Hundreds of years ago, the war between sorcerers and humans broke off when the magical beasts started to act differently and attacked the human realm. Loving both races, Rauv sacrificed himself to create the borders to separate the humans from the magical beasts, and thus he was named the most powerful sorcerer who ever lived. The glass temple was his gift to the first empress who happened to be his first alchemy student and was his beloved. But due to his death, the first empress was wedded to someone else and continued the empire. "You! a kid who was born between a sorcerer and an aura user! Indeed, the best blessing over the hundred years!" Kaizer blabbered while taking heavy steps towards Yui that by then slowly taking her steps back. Throbbing heavily, Yui could feel the spine-chilling perturbance creeping all over her skin from the glare of the pair of dark evil eyes staring down at her. "Even Rauv, who was named as the greatest sorcerer would not have any chance against your powers." Smiling with his eyes, Kaizer lifted his arms of victory mumbling his words of pleasure to have Yui in front of him. Yui cannot step any further as she already hit the bones of the now-decayed body of the high priest. Glancing beneath her, she could see the blurry white movements below the glass floor. The same white figures holding Kaizer a while ago. "Kuggh" Kaizer grabbed Yui's neck choking her with his hands. "Your power! I will have it and destroy those filthy humans!" Yui's eyes widened, she only thought he wanted her powers to become the most powerful ruler but different from that his plan is much greater. "I will kill everyone who looked down on me!" Kaizer continued strongly gripping Yui's neck causing her pale face to turn almost purple and tears almost got out the corners of her eyes. That temple was created by magic to protect the first empress from the dangers outside. Because of the chaos, the temple automatically closed its walls de-activating whatever powers were trapped inside to avoid harm. However, it was different in Yui's situation. She can't fight. Having no magic, she realizes how useless she could be when she is against those who are larger and stronger than her. kyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa- An annoying screech disrupts Kaizer losing his grasp on Yui's neck which she took advantage of. She got the timing to regain her last strength kicking him away. kyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa- "You b*tch! Arrghh!" Kaizer suffered from the echoing screech that continued. Lumping on her feet, Yui catches her breath and moved towards the far end where the large tall spikes of the altar hide. "What is that in your hands?" Karin asked Maylene, glowering her eyes at her. Maylene looked at her scroll but she didn't answer her; rather she pressed her lips closed. "How insolent! I asked you what are you planning with that seal!" Karin lost her temper and began screaming at her. Yet Maylene didn't waver at all and she stared back at Karin fiercely. "Please let me go, your majesty." "You are not going anywhere." Karin grabs both the young lady's shoulders with enough strength to stop her. "Whatever you are planning. I won't allow it!" She added strongly, looking into both of Maylene's eyes. "Your majesty! We need to stop this chaos." Maylene replied battling Karin's sharp glares. Jaiq on the other hand also took an interest in Maylene's scroll and so he moved his feet and swiftly took the scroll from her hands. "No!" She screamed and Karin also went to get the scroll but Jaiq had already opened it. The scroll contains a seal as Karin had suspected and they both immediately recognize it. Karin's eyes widened rapidly went her gaze back to Maylene, faintly shaking her shoulders. "You! are you planning to transfer Kaizer's soul to Yui's body!" Maylene's eyes began to soften and tears formed in the corners of her eyes. "Is it the princess's plan?" Jaiq uttered as he was able to apprehend Yui's intentions. Jaiq quickly passed the two and went running towards the temple. "Jaiq! Stop! Are you going to do this again!" Karin screamed following him and Maylene quickly went after them. "Halt." A furious hard-faced Gael jumps in front of Jaiq after tearing down a chimera not too far from away. The dead monster's body is still lying near the temple and so he was able to hear Karin's screams. Gael lifted his sword and pointed it against Jaiq with the same sharpness emitting in his cold eyes. "Who do we have here? The youngest duke?" Jaiq said, taking a step back away from him. Gael lowered his gaze and then back to his eyes speaking, "It seems that you have healed your limped legs, sir." Jaiq smiled with his eyes and replied, "Oh, this? It was thanks to the sorceress's mana." Gael squinted his eyes unable to fathom Jaiq's words when Karin and Maylene were able to reach their direction. "He was stuck inside the ancient book and because of Yui's powers, he was able to return," Karin explained in one breath. Clenching his jaw greatly vexed, Gael took a step to point the blade of his sword much near Jaiq's neck. He hated him, deeply, knowing how he assisted Kaizer with all his evil deeds causing Yui's miserable life. Yet Jaiq didn't waver, rather he smiled fondly. "You see how powerful her mana could be. It could heal old rotten injuries and even bought dead to life." "Jaiq! You said you will straighten everything!" Karin argued but Jaiq laughed hysterically. "Yes, of course. I will have that power in my own hands." He said when suddenly the once-lying dead chimera behind Gael moved its tail. Its limbs recovered as if nothing happened and slowly covered them with its large shadow. Grooooooooooooooaaaa! It began to screech and its tail swayed in the air toward their direction. Gael instantly swift his sword's blade to cut its tail losing restrictions at Jaiq who took advantage to run away. "Jaiq! You bastard!" Karin assisted Gael and she wasn't able to run after Jaiq but Maylene managed to follow him from behind.
