JACKSON’S POV "Your personal assistant has resigned," my manager informed me abruptly. "H-huh? What happened?" I asked, taken aback by the sudden news. "She received a job offer abroad, so she's leaving for that opportunity. We'll need to find a new PA for you," he explained as he sorted through his belongings. "I did inform Mr. Mitchell about everything. He'll contact me tomorrow. I know he's already found a replacement for your PA," he added. I nodded, processing the information. Tumango nalang ako, "Uh, saan?" "Pagkakaalam ko, sa Nexus Company, kumuha si Mr.Mitchell ng bago company mo." sabi niya I nodded, processing the information. It was certainly unexpected news, but I understood that career opportunities often came with their own set of decisions and changes. "Okay, thank you for letting me know," I replied, my tone reflecting both understanding and acceptance. Transitions were a part of any profession, and I was no stranger to adapting to new circumstances. The manager seemed to sense my thoughts and offered a reassuring smile. "Change is a constant, and I'm confident we'll find someone just as capable to assist you." I managed a small smile in return, appreciating his support. "Okay, please keep me updated." As he left the room, I took a moment to reflect on the situation. While I had developed a comfortable working relationship with my previous personal assistant, I understood that roles and circumstances could shift unexpectedly. This was an opportunity for me to work with someone new and potentially gain fresh insights. The following day, just as my manager had mentioned, Mr. Mitchell reached out to discuss the details further. Our conversation revolved around my preferences for a new personal assistant and the responsibilities I wanted them to handle. Mr. Mitchell assured me that they would be diligent in their selection process. "We're considering both internal and external candidates, Jackson. Rest assured, we'll find someone who aligns well with your needs," he reassured me. I appreciated his proactive approach and his dedication to ensuring a smooth transition. Our conversation ended on a positive note, and I felt more at ease about the changes that lay ahead. In the days that followed, I focused on my music and the various projects I had lined up. While change was inevitable, I was determined to continue producing quality work and delivering on the commitments I had made to my fans and the industry. As I attended meetings, rehearsals, and recording sessions, I couldn't help but wonder who my new personal assistant would be. I knew that this role required not only organizational skills but also a strong understanding of the dynamics of the music industry. The support of a reliable personal assistant could significantly contribute to the smooth execution of my projects. During this time, I received regular updates from Mr. Mitchell regarding the progress of the search. Interviews were being conducted, and potential candidates were being evaluated. It was reassuring to know that the company was putting careful thought into finding the right fit. As I continued to work on my music and interact with my team, I maintained an optimistic outlook. Change could bring growth and new opportunities, and I was open to embracing these possibilities. While I would miss the familiarity of working with my previous personal assistant, I looked forward to building a strong working relationship with the new member of my team. As the days passed and I immersed myself in my office tasks, there came a sudden knock on my door. "Jackson, this is Zaniyah, your new PA," Mr. Mark introduced, his voice breaking through my concentration. I looked up to see the familiar face from the art gallery standing beside him. A mixture of surprise and curiosity swept over me. Was she really going to be my new PA? "Jackson, don't you have anything to say?" Mr. Mark prodded, his tone light and expectant. I felt my cheeks slightly flush as I became aware of the situation unfolding before me. I quickly looked away, feigning nonchalance, and stood up to approach Mr. Mark. "Uh, can I talk to you for a moment, Mark?" I said, my voice steady but clearly indicating my need to discuss something privately. He approached me, his voice lowering to match the tone of our conversation. "What's up?" he asked in a hushed tone. I cast a cautious glance toward the woman who was now to be my new PA. "Is she the one who'll be my new PA?" I whispered, hoping for a confirmation from Mark. He nodded, understanding my concern. "Yes, she's the one. She's skilled; she's one of Mr. Mitchell's picks, so you have nothing to worry about." His reassuring words were meant to calm my nerves, but I found myself still observing her. I remained quiet, absorbing the information. This new development had taken me off guard, and I needed time to process it. "Uh, so, Zaniyah, you'll start tomorrow," Mr. Mark announced with enthusiasm, addressing her directly. "Really, sir?" I couldn't help but interject, my eyebrows raising slightly. The situation felt surreal, and I wanted to make sure I was understanding everything correctly. "Why, don't you want to?" I replied with a hint of irritation, my arms folding across my chest as I watched her closely. "N-no, not at all." Her response was swift, and she offered a polite smile, perhaps picking up on my apprehension. "Great! That's settled then." With that affirmation, I released a sigh and nodded. "Alright then, welcome aboard, Zaniyah." I managed a small smile, realizing that my initial resistance might have been more about surprise than anything else. "Thank you so much. I'm really looking forward to working with you, sir Jackson," she replied sincerely, her smile genuine and professional.
