How could my family's situation afford a genuine antique bowl? By giving him an old bowl as a gift on his birthday, he felt that I was mocking him.

I looked disappointed, but a cunning expression flashed in my eyes. I wished Mr. Kurt Thompson would refuse my gift.

"Andrew, take your bowl and go away. Don't embarrass us any further!" Emma approached and tugged at my sleeve, whispering.

"Grandpa, I'm truly sorry! Andrew didn't understand and made you upset. I apologize on his behalf!" Immediately after, Emma put on a bright smile to make amends with Mr. Kurt Thompson.

Mr. Kurt Thompson coldly waved his hand, indicating that he had forgiven me. Emma hurriedly pulled me back to our seats.

"Andrew, bring out the antique bowl and show it to everyone!" Mike continued to make a commotion.

He noticed that Mr. Kurt Thompson was already unhappy, so wanted to add fuel to the fire, making him even angrier and eventually hating Emma's entire family.

"That's right, that's right! I've never seen a real antique bowl before. I want to see what it looks like!" Ellie joined in, echoing Mike's words.

"OK!"

Everyone was surprised when I did not refuse this request. The discerning ones could see that Mike and his wife were deliberately mocking me, wanting to embarrass me in public.

If I felt humiliated, it would be equivalent to Mr. Axel's humiliation.

While Emma was trying to stop me, I took the bowl out of the paper box. I did not touch the bowl directly but used a cloth to cover it before lifting it.

Numerous people who enjoyed this kind of amusement gathered around.

"It is indeed a bowl!" Ellie said in a mocking tone.

"Yes, it's a bowl, but it resembles the bowls homeless people used to beg for money. Ha ha!" Mrs. Laelia directly taunted.

dare you to present an old bowl as an antique to Grandpa? Andrew, are you intentionally ruining Grandpa's birthday party? Do you curse him to become a homeless person?" Mike finished speaking and reached out to snatch the antique bowl from my hand.

I quickly reacted and used my left hand to block Mike's hand, then said coldly, "This is an antique bowl, and it cannot be touched carelessly! If you're not careful and it breaks, you won't be able to compensate for its value!"

"I can't compensate for it? Ha ha! I can't compensate for an old bowl? That's hilarious!" Mike sneered.

"I can buy you many bowls similar to this one!"

"The bowl in my hand is an ancient Thailand antique bowl from the feudal era. Even if you sell yourself, you won't be able to compensate for its value!" I retorted.

"Oh my! Do you consider that old bowl an antique? Andrew, you're just being ridiculous. Stop pretending that we're all as foolish as you!" Mike's lips curled up in a contemptuous smile.

"Mike, stop talking to this idiot! Everyone knows he can't afford antiques!" Mrs. Laelia spoke up.

She looked at Emma and blamed her, saying, "Emma, why is your family like this? Is your husband giving Daddy an old bowl at his birthday party to make him uncomfortable?"
Emma's expression was extremely unpleasant to look at.

Mrs. Brebeca glared at me with anger in her eyes as if she wanted to devour me alive.

"A dog's mouth can't speak human language!" I coldly retorted.

"Who are you cursing?" Mrs. Laelia lowered her face.

"I'm cursing all of you ignorant fools!"

"You..."

"I'm telling you that the bowl in my hand is an antique porcelain bowl, the Sangkhalok blue-glazed bowl!" I said.

"The Sangkhalok blue-glazed bowl?" Suddenly, an old man sitting to the left of Mr. Kurt Thompson spoke up.

This old man's name was Cuthbert Rodriguez, he was a friend of Mr. Kurt Thompson's and also one of the most famous antique appraisers in the world.

"Mr. Cuthbert Rodriguez, what's the matter?" Mr. Kurt Thompson immediately asked.

Mr. Cuthbert Rodriguez did not answer Mr. Kurt Thompson but stood up and walked in front of me, asking, "Is the bowl you're holding a Sangkhalok blue-glazed bowl?"

"Exactly!"

"Can I see it?"

"Sure, but you can only look, not touch!" I said as I placed the Sangkhalok blue-glazed bowl on top of the paper box lid.

Mr. Cuthbert Rodriguez carefully bent down to observe the Sangkhaloka blue-glazed bowl.

After evaluating for a while, he furrowed his brow.

Then he leaned close to the Sangkhalok blue-glazed bowl and sniffed.

His eyes sparkled, and then he slowly stood up straight and took out a magnifying glass from his pocket. As an expert, he always carried specialized tools for appraisal.

Shortly after, he bent down again and carefully examined the Sangkhalok blue-glazed bowl with the magnifying glass.

Everyone here remained silent, just staring intently at Mr. Cuthbert Rodriguez.

"Wow!"

Mr. Cuthbert Rodriguez praised while looking at the Sangkhalok blue-glazed bowl, "This is indeed a Sangkhalok blue-glazed bowl from the Rattanakosin Dynasty of Thailand! It's genuine!"
