She nodded slowly. "Y-yes." She had also forgotten about the letter that she had never taken out of her bag since she arrived in Korea. “Don’t be nervous. I am sure everything will be okay. Doc Darryl will be happy that you can finally visit him.” “Thank you. I don't know what I would do without you.” After an hour, they arrived at Yangji Park Public Cemetery at the foot of Udobong Mountain. Since it's already autumn, the leaves have turned brownish in color now. There were even tall grasses on both sides of the road. That was the name of the cemetery Jaimee had sent her. It was also in the picture. They approach the information window of the cemetery admin office and Cheska gave Doc Darryl's name to know where his grave was. "Kang Jung Rin," was Doc Darryl’s Korean name. She also mentioned his death and burial dates. The woman in front of the computer shook her head. “Mianhamnida. Geugo seunurie giro geop sseumnida.” Carter turned to Cheska anxiously. "She said it wasn’t on their record." “Darryl Kang. Please try Darryl Kang,” she pleaded to the woman. Maybe his family used Doc Darryl’s English name in the record. But the woman's answer was still negative. “It still wasn’t there. No one in that name was buried here. She said this is the record of the people who were buried here in that week.” They were given a printed paper. “There’s no Darryl Park or Kang Jung Rin. There’s no record of those names in their cremation record.” Cheska's whole body went numb. “Impossible. This is what Jaimee told me where Doc Darryl was buried. There is only one Yangji National Cemetery in Jeju Island, right?” Carter typed on his cellphone to probably search if there’s another cemetery with the same name. “It’s the only one in Korea and the world. Maybe it's in another cemetery.” “No. It's here.” She felt lost. She and Doc Darryl were about to meet. Why was it still denied to her? “I saw the picture of his grave myself. Can we try his parents’? Because I know that he was buried next to his parents’ graves.” Her heart broke into million pieces. Even Doc Darryl’s parents were not found in the record. "Maybe a police report where he met an accident," Carter said and once again typed something on his cellphone. "We can get some information there." “I-I have the information on my phone that was damaged.” It also has her conversations with Jaimee. She sat down on one of the benches. She still couldn’t believe what was happening. She tried to remember where exactly was Doc Darryl had his accident but Jaimee had never given her any clear information. Carter gently squeezed her shoulder. “Don’t worry. We will find him.” He typed something on his cellphone again. "Did he practice medicine here in Korea?" “Yes. Here on Jeju Island. Halla Hospital.” “Maybe we can go there tomorrow. He may have a colleague who’s still working there. Maybe you should also send information to his cousin. Maybe she just made a mistake with the name of the cemetery she had given you. There’s a lot of ways. We will find Doc Darryl. Okay?” he said and wiped away her tears. “O-Okay. Thanks for being here. I don’t know what I would do if I didn’t have you here now. I might go crazy going through those graves one by one just to find his grave.” He was like her personal Google Map. Like he was always pointing her in the right direction whenever she was lost. She was grateful for having him in her life. If it’s possible, she didn’t want to lose him by her side. “CARTER, THIS IS WONDERFUL. I feel like I'm in a magical world. Are all those flowers made of glass?” Cheska asked while pointing at the flowers in the creek. They are at the Jeju Glass Museum. She was in a gloomy mood when they left the memorial park. When they arrived in Jeju City and had dinner, she was still not feeling any better. She thought Carter would want to go back to the guesthouse to rest, after all, she was not a good company. But instead, he took her to this museum. “Even that tree has leaves made of glass. They have a glass maze and glass villages. They even have Cinderella shoe shop and even a pumpkin carriage.” It tickled her imagination and fired up her excitement. Because it was already nighttime and the mirrors were of different colors, the surroundings felt like it became magical. The art pieces there were made by glass artists from Germany and Japan. When they got tired of looking around at different exhibits, they sat at the edge of a glass lake. She just couldn’t stop smiling. "Feeling better now?" Carter asked.
