The next day, she woke up with a smile on her face as she walked to take her bath.
"I miss the fashion house." She said to herself smiling as she walked.
She frowned remembering how Sarah always looked at Dylan anytime he came around to visit her in the fashion house.
"Such a freak." She said and walked to take her bath.
Minutes later, she was dressed and walked down the stair. She saw Kamela discussing with Joel as they laughed and she walked up to them clearing her throat.
"Good morning lovers." She said making Kamela move away from Joel.
"Good morning Miss. I will go get your tea." Kamela said and left in a fast.
Carl faced Joel and smiled.
"You love her right." Carl said but Joel refused to reply.
"Alright, I won't interfere in your love." Carl said and Joel closed his eyes smiling.
"You can Miss. I know she also loves me but I have decided to be dedicated to my work." Joel said and Carl smiled.
"Well, a work you have decided not to be paid for." Carl said.
Joel looked at her and smiled.
"I may not be paid by you but I have been paid by the agency." He said. "Miss, working for you has indeed blessed me with the love of my life."
They both laughed as Kamela brought the tea to Carl.
"Let's get sitted." Carl said and the three of them walked to the couch with the two lovers sitting both at Carl's side so Carl sat at their middle.
"I knew you both are in love a long time ago but I feared if you will be able to stay to your work." Carl said.
"Miss, we have got to separate our love life from our work." Kamela said making Joel smile as he remembered telling her that some months ago in the past year.
"That's great but I will want you to focus more on your love life now as the people who want to attack me has been arrested." Carl said.
"Does that mean you are relieving me of my work for you?" He asked and Carl nodded.
"You can come visit whenever you want." Carl said and Joel nodded.
"Alright Miss, I will surely inform the agency." He said and stretched his hands forward.
"Can we?" He asked pointing towards the door.
He turned to look at Kamela who waved him as he left with Carl.
They both got into their cars and Joel trailed Carl's car as it moved.
Minutes later, they got to the fashion house and packed their car.
Carl got down her car and walked straight into her office leaving Joel out of her office.
She sat on her chair then looked up.
She remembered the last conversation she had with Joel the day before and picked up her phone to call Dylan.
Dylan picked the call on the second ring.
"Hello my love." He said picking up the phone.
"I will like to know when you would be able to come to my fashion house." She said and Dylan cleared his throat.
"Alright, do hold on." He said then seconds later replied her. "In the next two days."
"Alright." Carl said.
"Why did you..." Dylan was saying when Carl cut in.
"I want to see in the fashion house." She said.
"Why don't you make it a dinner date?" He asked her and Carl thought.
"No, it's not something to be said on dates. It is about you being a partner with this fashion house." She said knowing that it will be easier for him to accept because she has made him a partner in the fashion house and he has contributed a lot to the development of the fashion house.
" If it's about that, I will come tomorrow. " He said and Carl smiled.
"Alright, I will see you tomorrow." Carl said.
They both said their goodbye and ended the call.
Carl took in a deep breath and looked up. She saw Naomi standing in front of her.
"Oh, the door was opened." She said looking at Naomi.
"Yes Miss." Naomi said.
"You may have your sit." Carl said pointing to a chair in front of her.
"Thank you, Miss." Naomi said taking her sit.
Carl smiled looking at Naomi and placed her hand on the table.
"Alright what do you have to say?" She asked Naomi.
"I came to give you the details of what took place here while you were away." She said giving Carl a book.
Carl flipped the book open as she read all that had happened while she was away.
Minutes later, she looked up at Naomi and smiled nodding.
"This is great." She said giving the book back to Carl.
Naomi stood up to leave the office but was called back by Carl.
"Yes Miss." Naomi said turning to look at Can.
"Tomorrow we would be having one of our guest here. You know who he is and he is special to me. I do want you to make one of the workers to take his measurement, I will be giving you the style you should make." Carl said and Naomi nodded.
"Sir Dylan." Naomi said and Carl nodded.
Naomi took a bow and left the office.
Carl sniffled when she saw Naomi leave.
"I hope she won't give the job to Sarah." Carl said.
She opened her laptop and began to search for nice designs which she would like to make for Dylan.
"I want him to look cool." She said.
Minutes later while she kept her gaze on the laptop, she held a knock on the door.
"You may come in." She said and Joel walked in.
"Miss!" He called.
"Yes Joel." She said.
"I will have to leave soon as I have already informed the agency." He said and Carl nodded.
"Dan will be coming soon." He also said making Carl look up.
"Dan!" She called smiling.
Her former guard who only worked for her during office hours was also called Dan.
"Yes Dan, Miss." Joel said.
"To pick you up to the agency?" She asked but Joel shook his head.
"No, but to resume his duty." Joel said and Carl nodded.
"Alright but may I know why." Carl said.
"As he has done before, your safety." Joel said and Carl nodded.
"Alright then." He said and a knock was heard on the door.
"You may come in." Carl said and Dan walked in and greeted.
"Good day Miss." Dan said.
"Oh Dan, you are back." Carl said and he nodded.
"To resume my duty as I have been certified." He said but Carl did not understand what he meant to.
"As time goes on, Miss, you should understand." Dan added and turned to Joel.
"You should leave for the bus." He said to Joel who nodded.
Joel got up and left the office.
"I would be out, Miss." Dan said and Carl smiled.
"I would like to add an increment to the fee..." She was saying when Dan shook his head.
"Not anymore, Miss. I will be paid for my service by the agency cause I have been certified in." Dan said.
"Alright, I will like to inform all that you have resumed back." Carl said but Dan shook his head.
"No Miss." Dan said and Carl thought for a while then nodded.
"Alright." Carl said as she saw Dan leave.
Seeing Dan leave, she smiled.
"I am glad that he is back." She said and prayed for Joel.

Dylan sat in his office looking at the book which was before him. He heard a knock on the door.
"You may come in." He said and the person he had made secretary of the beautification team walked into his office.
"Sir Dylan!" The secretary called and placed a book on his desk.
"What is this?" Dylan asked.
"There was a struggle in the team last night and one of our members was injured." The secretary said.
"Last night?" Dylan asked and he nodded.
"Yes sir. I hope you forgive us. Patty called us for a party which I didn't want to attend as it wasn't ordered by you but I had to attend knowing that I..." He was saying when Dylan cut in.
"You needed to carry out your duty." Dylan said and he nodded.
"Yes sir." He said.
"Why didn't you inform the department secretary as always?" Dylan asked.
"The party was done by our unit and I didn't see the need to inform her about it." He said and Dylan took up the book which he had placed on his table.
"So what is in?" Dylan asked.
"I took down everything that happened in the party." He said.
"What happened to the members?" Dylan asked.
"Two of our members got into a fight and one of them was injured." The secretary said.
"How?" Dylan asked.
"He was pierced by a bottle." The secretary said.
"His name?" Dylan asked.
"I can't tell now but we have all written." The secretary said.
"Alright Patrick, you may go." Dylan said but called him back seconds later.
"I will like your team members in my office." Dylan said and Patrick took a bow before exiting the office.
Dylan closed his eyes then opened the book.
He began reading what was written in the book.
Minutes later, the beautification team members came into his office.
" Good day sir. "They all said and Dylan looked up.
"Two of your members are missing." He said.
He started speaking to them.
He spoke to them for ten minutes before dismissing them.
"Patrick, do wait behind." He said and the secretary waited.
"Yes sir Dylan." He said after the dismissal of his members.
"I will love for us to go visit the both of them. Today we will go to the hospital." Dylan said and Patrick nodded.
"Do inform Nora." Dylan added.
Nora was the new secretary of the department.
Patrick took a bow and walked out of the office.
Hours later, they were done with the day's work and after seeing the whole department members gone, Patrick and Nora walked into Dylan's office.
"Mr. Rodriguez." Nora called entering Dylan's office.
"I hope you have been briefed by Patrick on the reason I want you here." Dylan said.
"Yes sir, I have." Nora said.
Dylan cleared his table and together the three of them left the office going to the hospital where the injured member of the beautification team was.
They first got him a gift before leaving for the hospital.
Getting to the hospital, they met him being kept on oxygen as it was said that he had some breathing issue so he couldn't speak to them.
They left what they brought on the side table and told the doctors to try their best in retrieving him.
They left and headed for Patty house but noticed that he was not home.
"Miss, have any idea where he is?" They asked a lady beside his house but she shook her head.
"He didn't return last night." She said and they all nodded.
"I guess we should inform this to the authority." Nora said but Dylan did not buy into the idea but after some minutes of them trying to convince him, he agreed.
Getting to the station, they got to know that Patty had been arrested by the authorities.
"A criminal." Dylan said minutes after a cop had told him that Patty is a criminal who is wanted by the government.
"Yes sir." The cop said and Dylan nodded.
"Can we see him?" Dylan asked but the officer refused.
"Alright, thanks for your time." Dylan said and left the station with Patrick and Nora.
