Days have passed since the the accident where almost all of us experienced death for the first time, here we are, preparing for the intramurals that will be held next week. most of us are very excited while me on the other hand is never interested at all. most of us are fired up again because whoever wins in every competition in that aforementioned event will have Ms. Sanchez take them out for a treat. as I looked up to the faces of my friends and saw them being fired up again. Reisse and Jan both entered on relay race together with the other two classmates of us, while Vance and Ares entered those brain related games, since they are the ones who are smart in our group, and Henry entered the badminton, while me on the other hand, slacking off again because I'm not interested in such sport related events. one week before the intramurals meet, everyone in school should start to practice already in competing for their chosen event, so classes are being held back starting today. yes, everyone is working up already as they will try to win in every sports they will be competing with the promise of Ms. Sanchez that makes them hyped up and motivated. Reisse and Jan started to practice running on the track field as well as Henry who started to practice playing badminton in the court, while Vance and Ares started to practice playing chess, etc... as they will competing mind related sports " Yes, a week with peace has come to, thank you God for this gift, I will treasure it ". yes, I was happy because a week of peace without those guys, irritating me and giving me stress, has come for real. that's what I thought, when one early morning, I was surprised because mom was waking me 4 am in the morning. " Kai , wake up, your friends are here ", " wait!, what?" giving me curiousity as I go meet them only to found out they were on jogging attire and forcing me to join them for a run. without having a choice, I joined them. while on jogging:
Reisse: " hey Kai, why don't you join us in competing the relay race, I think you are a fast runner right.
Kai: " not interested, thank you, and by the way, I think you have already enough members right? "
Reisse: " ohh, sorry I forgot, but you can join other sports related in running "
Kai: " not interested "
Ares: " what are talking Reisse, Kai is a fast runner only when his life depends on it " ha ha ha.
Kai: " huh! " , well that's true for me I guess.
Ares: " hey Kai, why don't you join us in competing for the chess sports, you know when you have a girl opponent, you have the opportunity to see b**bs when they are on distressed and lean in front to focus on the chess board , ge ge ge " saying it to me with perverted thoughts. " and then our group started laugh as we jog. it continues as the intramurals day are getting closer. and then finally, today is the intramurals meet, everyone is fired up, everyone goes to their designated sports where they will be competing, I roam around, first I saw Ares, taking down every opponent in chess, while keeping an eye to those girl opponent as he said to me back then, while on the other room is Vance, competing for a crossword game. I leave them knowing they will win as far as I can see from their movement and their opponents. I continue to roam around and found out Henry playing graciously in badminton, well he won, but the key factor to that is his behavior that gets on the nerve of his opponent resulting to commit errors. then, suddenly out of nowhere Jan and Reisse, lift me up forcing me to go to their team and having me join them for the relay race.
Reisse: " Kai, join us, Bert is absent today because he is sick, so we decided that you would be the one to fill up his absence "
Kai: " what?, you know I slack all the time these past week right? "
Reisse: " that's okay, you only need to run "
the other team mate : " hey Reisse, are you sure he can run, looking at him I think he isn't fit to "
Jan: " you might get surprised on what you said right now, hey Kai are you in "
Kai: " alright, alright, what else can I do for "
I joined them leaving me no choice.
the race I going to start, one of our classmates lend me some clothes for the run, me and my team prepared and go to our designated positions I was the last racer. as soon as the race start I feel my legs gets numb and I can't move them at all, maybe because I'm so nervous, the baton is coming and I can't still move my legs, and then out of nowhere, I saw Yssa, cheering on me.
" flying raijin no juts " as I activated my ninjutsu as soon as I saw Yssa cheering on me. I hold tight the baton, and then I run as fast as I could like my life depends on it. everyone in that race are shocked and like a stoned statue as they watch me over speeding them and then as soon as I get back to myself, we won the race. intramurals ended up with the 4 of us are the only one who one from our class. Ares lost because he lost his focus while doing his perverted plans on his opponent, Vance lost because he was surprised and turned to a stoned statue while on game, and Henry, he lost because he only talks about how beautiful he is and forget he is on a match. yes the 4 of us are the only one who will be treat out by Ms. Sanchez, me, Reisse, Jan and the unexpected guy who will be somewhat be part of our friendship.
