everyone was angry as when they learned from me that Reisse and Yssa are dating knowing also that this would be the reason why Reisse is so cold to us lately. with all my raged and despair, I said to myself that I should've get involved with them in the first place and I should've let myself fall in love with Yssa because in the end I'm still the one who lose. I tear up our picture and as when the picture of Reisse hit the ground, I recieved an unexpected call from Emrys, Reisse's sister. I answered it and then Emrys started to cry saying these words to me " he's gone ", and then all of the sudden I unintentionally drop my phone as I remember all the time we spent with Reisse together, how kind he is to us, all the fun we shared together. I run towards to were Emrys is and my friends follow me while knowing nothing, and then we arrived at the place where Emrys said to me only to find out Reisse's dead body lying on a bed as they covered it with a blanket. I saw Emrys and her parents crying next to Reisse's body and then Emrys approach us and said " we don't know he has a stage 4 cancer until we were late to notice it ", and then someone hug me tightly as she said these words to me " be the man, you want yourself to be " as I turned my head and say Yssa was the one who did it. and then she gave me a small box the same box I saw Reisse giving it to her, " it was his last gift to you " Yssa said as I opened the box and tears started to flow from my eyes as I saw the pictures of Reisse being attached to the pictures we send to him when he couldn't join us on hanging out, and there a letter on the back of the photo " 05/07/11, my friends are going out to have fun again, I was supposed to be with them but it is my first chemotherapy, but I was happy when they send me the pictures of them having fun ", that's why Reisse couldn't join us because everytime we go out, it was his schedule for check ups and or chemotherapy. and yesterday, Yssa learned about Reisse condition because Yssa's mom was Reisse's doctor, that's why Reisse was a little bit quiet back then when we are talking about Yssa, because of Yssa's mother. that's why I saw them yesterday going out together because Reisse wants to gave his final words to us and rely it to Yssa as Reisse don't want us to know it and making us sad. after learning all that and my questions are answered, I ran towards the body of Reisse where my friends already are and started to cry in pain as I hug him tight, saying these words " why Reisse, why?, you should've tell us, I thought we were friends, why did you hid it to us " suffering in pain as I remember all the memories Reisse and us shared together and all the things we said and done to Reisse while he was suffering because of his sickness.
after 10 years, present day.
after teaching the class, I decided to take a leave the next and visit someone, I excused to Ms. Sanchez which is now the principal of the school where I am teaching and she accepted my request to take a leave. I woke up in the next morning, I packed up my things and prepare to go, as I was walking to the streets on my way to my destination, I saw a flower shop and decided to buy some. and after minutes of walking, I reached my destination, sat down on the ground, put down the flowers I bought on my way here and tears started to flow from my eyes " hey Reisse, how are you?, it's been 10 years right, there is this one student of mine who have the same fate as you, I know your watching us over there but can I ask you a favor, can you please watch over Agui, he's the student I was talking to you, he's a nice student of mine, please take care of him from now on and guide him " as I cry down on my knees remembering all the memories is hared with Agui and Reisse. and while I was sitting down crying, a guy tap me and say it's okay, and as I turned my eyes I saw my old friends on my back, Jan, Henry, Ares, Vance and Kazu was here also to visit Reisse grave, it was my first time seeing them for almost 8 years as we remember all the memories we shared together Infront of Reisse grave.
