His steps becomes closer and I wanted to run from the place yet his aura was as if darting me against his chest. I saw how he let go of a smirk at me and Thrille began to caress my hair, letting his fingertips travel down my shoulder. He gently tucked my sandy platinum hair and I barely shut my eyes upon sensing that he is becoming even near me. He leaned closer and was about to bite my neck, yet he soon withdraw his face from me. "I suppose you must go now to the Holmbridge," He muttered and distant himself from me. I smelled his alluring scent as he passes by my direction, I only watch him from my side and I perceived that he seems to be sensing an awkward feeling. His complexion shifted and his cheeks flushes red. There, I chuckled. "What has gone with your face? Why do you appear like a tomato?" I dared to tease him yet he throw glares at me. "I must go, do not let anyone fool you, Terra. In this journey you are alone, it is way important to use your wisdom and instinct rather than giving your trust easily." His voice became serious and so is his aura. "Can't you at least accompany me?" I pleaded yet he did not respond. Instead, he began to walk out of the place and left me behind, looking so dumbfounded. "Thrille!" I called out but he did not bother to turn his face. "Aight, this is my journey, I am all by myself now. Silly me, I shouldn't trust anyone, not even that odd beast." My shoulder fell as if I'm in great burden, I felt so pissed and I proceeded to walk towards the north. Holmbridge sounds so strange in my hearing. I have never heard of such name of a place, it only adds curiosity within me to know more of the mysteries hidden in the land of Moresis. My shoulders lowered and I convince myself to calm down and proceeded to walk. As I got out from the murky place, I held tighter to my bow as I had a grip of my quiver. "I must find that woman named Celeste," I once more whispered and I fixed my gaze toward the path. I wonder what has gone to Sage Williams at this time, it also put me into curiosity to question where on earth is Lorelei. All I thought was that my life would be lame—doing the same thing all over again. Yet in just a blink of an eye, it came to my mind that there are a bunch of mysteries that need to be unraveled with my own eyes. Sage's PoV I tighten the grip of the book as I throw a glare at the man from afar. He has been very manipulative, his glare screams gold, and his grip were filled with blood. He is the beast that lurks in the city, disguising himself as a sheep. I loathed his presence. His daughter could have been better than him, yet the same blood runs in their veins and they altogether scream betrayal. I once more flip the pages of the book and took a glimpse of the torn piece. "What a shame, this story seems useless to me. I should have burnt this," I whispered to myself. I lied when I told Terra that I scorched each page of it, I somewhat began to take pleasure in seeing somebody's in misery. Moreover, I let my feet walk in the aisle as I let out of grin forms in my edges. I hid the book inside my satchel, and I proceeded to come nearer to the throne of the king. "Greetings, my king. I have come to present myself to the captain of thousands, Theodore Elliot." His brows raise and he signaled the man who stood before a huge window glass while watching the cruelty outside the town and villages. "What is your news this time, slave?" The king questioned and I barely smiles upon hearing the name he called me. He turned his face and called the captain, "Your servant Sage Williams wish to meet you, Theodore." I heard the king speak yet I remained to bow myself before him. Upon peeking in his direction, the tall man walks close and he gazes at me with his piercing stares—the same glares as hers. I onetime hunch that Terra Elliot is not his daughter, yet it seems that they both got the same frostiness they produce whenever I am around. I have been serving their household for six years and I must say that I have uncovered something interesting in their home. I will never let anyone read the hidden book, it only verifies what is the truth around sovereignty. I do have a hint that it shall enlighten the eyes of many. "Have you seen my daughter, Sage?" I snapped out and came back to my senses upon hearing his deep voice. This old man certainly gives chills down my spine yet I won't let him threaten me in an instant. I lowered my head once more and retorted. "... Truly, captain. I have witnessed with my very own eyes how Terra thrust the sharp blade into the archive owner's head. She killed the old man and took the precious book whom the king has ordered to keep from everybody's sight." I saw how his expression changed, he looks disgruntled of what he heard from me. "She ran away, leaving the town shriveled with flames." I took a peek of their reaction and I scarcely chuckled upon beholding the grievance in their complexion. Even the king stood up and glared at my location. "What I thought about your daughter is quite contrary to how she behaves, Theodore. Would you let her little dirty hands shed more blood?" The king spoke which made the captain feel uneasy. I only shrugged off and watched them, waiting for their final decision. "... I know my daughter." He paused momentarily, "Terra wouldn't do such a thing, yet occasionally she is indeed unruly." His voice sounds bitter, I glance at his countenance and he looks so heartbroken. The King retorted and smirks at behind, "I understand you anyhow wish to betrothed your daughter to my eldest son, I recall how you lust for the elevated role in my kingdom, Theodore." He walks nearer to the captain and he tapped his shoulder. "You shall possess the responsibility you have been desiring, yet only if you concede to throw the lass to the dungeon." From afar, I watch how the monarch persuades the prime. I let go of a smile, how fun could this be. Seeing how the kingdom of Thornsfrost gradually tore apart.
