The sun had set and the evening shadows had crept in unannounced. The café wasn't as busy as it was in the day~ there was nothing much to do either.
Prince walked in from the washroom only to find Aims napping on one of the tables in the far corner of the cafeteria– her head rested on the table, her face half covered by her hair~ hiding her pale yet beautiful features.
He smiled, chancing over to her side. He gently patted her hair behind her ear, revealing her bare face~ He was careful not to wake her. 
“ So glad to have you as part of this family, Aims” He whispered underneath his breath, his face lined with a faint smile. “ I promise to do my best as your brother and protect you always~ I'll love you more than you ever imagined.” He pecked her forehead and trod back to what he was doing.
Soon, a ring from her phone awakened her from her slumber. She drowsily reached for it, placing it on her ears. " Hello...” She responded, half asleep.
“ Hey, ~ sleeping?” a familiar voice asked at the end of the phone. 
“ In already?” Aims straightened up, the sleep visually washed off. “ I'll be with you shortly.” She said with smiles.
“ Let's meet at home then...no need to meet me up at the airline. ” Lilia stated she nodded with an okay. The call ended thereafter. She checked on her time and it was already past 6 pm– it seems she'd slept longer than she expected.
After packing up her stuff from the table, she dashed to the counter and dumped them into her bag. As she raced off to the exit, Prince's voice halted her in her tracks.
“ Where are you off to in such a rush?~ everything okay?” His eyes light up with concern. A sheepish grin instinctively formed on her face.
“ Umm...yeah, just meeting up with a friend at home.” She said and Prince shot her a bewildered look.
 “ What?~ have you forgotten what we agreed on ?”He grumbled. “ How could you leave without me? ”. Aimscious stared blankly, desperately trying to think of an excuse or explanation before replying. 
" Sorry... I just forgot~ can we go now? we're already late." 
" Great..." He said, threading ahead of her. " See you at home, mum"  Nina heard them shout from the door. Before she could say anything, they'd faded out of sight.

A few hours later, they pulled into Aims' compound. After making sure the car was well secured, he trod after her into the house. Light suddenly floods the room, and everything came into focus~ Prince was quite impressed with how well things were arranged and kept in order.
It wasn't such a big, fancy place as theirs but it was well-managed and neat. 
" Well..." She inaudibly sighed. " This is where I stay...my simple abode. Make yourself comfortable, I'll get us something to eat first." She said and he nodded, settling in the small sofa. His eyes crept around, touring his surrounding.
"It's quite warm and cozy here" He praised which made her chuckle.
" Thank you..." She echoed from the Kitchen. Her focus fell back on what she was doing. The room momentarily fills with the sound of dishes clattering.
A ding was soon heard at the door~ before Aims could rush for it, Prince volunteered to attend to it. He spontaneously pulled it open, and an unfamiliar face greeted him with a smile that soon faded into disappointment.
“ Who are you?" She questioned, her gaze conflicted into confusion.
“ Prince Scot~ Aims' brother, you?” He further asked without hesitation.
The two stared at each other, Lilian remained right where she was, her smile deepening to something challenging, something maybe sinister. Although she doubted him because she knew Aims got no more family left, she decided to play along.
“ Lilian here~ ” She smiled, stretching out her hand to him. “ ...didn't know she had another brother apart from the deceased one.” She said as they shook hands. Her seductive eyes actively lingered on his features. 
Prince was quite disgusted, noticing the looks in her eyes. He instinctively retrieved. Catching a glimpse of him still rooted at the doorpost, Aims decided to take a check. 
“Who is it, Prince...?” She asked over his shoulders but her answer came the moment she saw her at the door. “ Lilia !” She screamed as she envelops her in a hug. The two bounced around cheerily which made Prince smile. Even though he wasn't so convinced of Lilia's character, yet seeing Aimscious elated made him feign ignorance for a moment.
“ Here...come in” She led her through the door into the hall and guided her to the dining table, leaving Prince behind. Lilia glanced over her shoulder and cunningly winked at him~ she'd secretly squeezed his hand, greasing his chest when they trod past him. 
Prince had knocked it off in a rage. He immediately knew she was not the right friend for his sister but how would he let her know~ he's just a new person to her at the moment. He needs to win her love and trust first– he thought.
Aims who had taken the lead earlier was totally left in blind with no idea of what had transpired between the two. Prince watched her usher Lilia to a chair behind the dining table~ chattering away with laughter.
“ Looking prettier, Aims” He heard her compliment and Aims chuckled.
“ Than you?” She chortled. “ Don't tease me...” She disbanded her claims and they both busted with laughter again. “ Here you go...”  She slipped down a plate of curry rice with stew and chicken. “ ...your favorite out of my menu.”
Lilia smiled, “ Thanks” She mumbled. Just when she was about to dive in, they both noticed Prince still rooted a few steps away from them. Aims who was about to sit, froze in mid-air.
“ Hey... ” She called which spun him to reality. “ Why are you still there? ~ hurry over here” She said, weaving him over to the seat next to hers. Her simple act made him smile, and his tensed gaze relaxed.
“ Sorry, just got carried away~” He feigned an excuse as he settled down.
A few minutes later, the dinner winded down. Prince leaned in and whispered into her eyes– Aims nodded to whatever he said and he trod off towards her room.
