Chapter 48 REVELATION AND LUST

“ It was her thirst of revenge that brought her back here...” He further explained. Jasmine and Prince were astonished with his revelation.
“ What on earth was she taking revenge for~ at the risk of her own best friend's life?” Jasmine expressed. Not in her wildest dream had she ever thought of such evil from her. “ This is unbelievable ”
“ I've always been suspicious of her but I never knew she would stoop this low.” Prince verbalized. On an impulse, quried further. “ Do you have any evident of this?”
Kingsley instinctively nodded as if he had waited all his life for such a moment. “ Here...” He drew in closer, playing out a video on his phone. “ I got this CCTV footage and a voice recording of their conversation and all.”
They all watched in disbelief. “ Thanks a lot for this, you're truly a life saver.” Prince said in appreciation as the video ended. “ I'll do well to show this to Aims when she fully recovers ~that's the only way she would believe me.”
After giving out the video to him, Kingsley seeked to bid them farewell since he didn't want them to miss their flight. “ I'll call you.” Prince said as he saw him to the door.

Soon, the time came for them to leave. Jasmine wanted to join when Aims was taken into the jet but Prince insisted she stay back and help take care of Nina as well since she wouldn't be joining them on the trip.
Although she hesitated for a moment since she wanted to be the first to meet Aims when she wakes up but then, thinking back, Nina would also need her around due to their absence. “ It will be best to stay...” She said with a saddened voice and Prince understood her.
“ I promise you'll be the first I call the moment she opens her eyes.” He assured and she nodded with a faint smile.
With all said and done, they bid their last farewells and departed.
KINGSLEY 'S   APARTMENT
Kingsley knocked into the house, yelling and calling Lilia 's name but she ignored, toasting out on her drinks. He was surprised to see her almost drunk and celebrating.
“ Lilia !!”
“ What ?! ” She yelled, shooting to her feet. “ Why are you shouting my name as if you're being chased by vampires or zombies?~ Do you wish to bring the roof down?”
Kingsley was dumbfounded at her sudden change of behavior and character. This isn't the Lilia he had known all along. “ Is that all you have to say after all you did to Aimscious because of this Mart guy~even while we've been dating?” He screamed, knocking off the bottle of drinks which shattered the moment it touched the floor.
Lilia suddenly choked her drink. Her eyes turned red after she had managed to catch on her breath. “ what...what's the meaning of that, Ley?"She muttered with a nervous giggle. “ I don't know what you're driving at right now?”
“ Oh, Ley...kindly spare me the presence.” He bursted, cutting off her game of innocence. “ I know all your dark secrets and how I've been a vital instrument to your devilish act of jealousy and revenge.”
“ I can explain...Please, It's not what you're thinking” She fumbled over her words, clenching to his leg as she pleded in tears. “ There's seem to be a mistake somewhere~ ”
“ Cut the crab and get out of my house before I call the police.” He yelled, yanking her to the floor. Before she could say more, he had already headed off to their room.
She chased after him but her luggages came flying out of the house. All her pleads fell on dead ears as the door went shut in her face. “ We need to talk, Ley... please open the door!!” She screamed in tears.
Kingsley devastatedly slipped down the door in a fetal position, his tears uncontrollably drawn him. “ Open the god-damned door....” Her words swallowed away in sobs.
.
.
With no hopes of Kingsley's forgiveness, Lilia had no choice than to hop on her plan B. On a second thought, things were actually working in favour of her at the moment. This was the best time to get Mart for himself—with Aimscious finally out of the picture, there is nothing left to worry about.
Checking on her time, she quickly ordered a ride to the city where Mart was located~ about an hour's drive away.
It was already midnight when the cab finally pulled over in front of her destination. “ Floral Villa ” The driver announced to Lilia who quickly took a scan around.
“ Thank you. ” She said after she had confirmed. Mart's apartment was right before her eyes. It all felt like a dream at first, but no, it wasn't. It was really happening.
With the first ring, a voice answered and it sure was Mart's. She giggled, masking on a heartbroken and devastated look as he finally appeared on the small monitor by the door.
“ Lilia?” He mumbled, his face washed up in disbelief. “ What the hell are you doing over here?”
Lilia without words, just bursted into tears. “ Hey...hold on, I'll be right over there.” The screen went blank thereafter with Mart appearing at the door shortly. She immediately fell into his embrace and he didn't know what else to do than to console her.
“ Come on, let's get you inside.” He said after she sobbered down.
Mart knew she needed a bit more time to calm herself before any other thing. So he kept her luggages in one of the empty rooms after offering her a glass of water. He sat across her on the sofa as he carefully scanned her~ there were bruises all over her, he noticed.
“ Can I have a glass of hard wine?” She requested after a long while. Mart wasn't sure of offering her that but then, he just nodded.
“ Alright, a minute...” He headed off and back with a second. “ Here you are.” Lilia reached for it with a warm smile and took a sip. “ Thanks.”
“ Now, can you tell me what happened?” He asked.
“ Burglars attacked my new home and you know I've got no one around here to run to after Aims's death. I'm so scared....” She sobbed.
Mart instinctively knew how she felt since the two had been childhood friends. With no doubt at all, he immediately asked her to stay as long as she wish until she thinks of what next to do.
Lilia was delighted of the outcome of the whole situation. Just what she wanted offered on a silver platter. She secretly smiled to herself.
The two continued over a few more drinks, reminiscing about their time with Aimscious and all. Sure, he wasn't in control of himself, Lilia took a chance. Her lips softly ceased his and their tongue soon locked into each other. All he could see was the image of Aimscious and not Lilia.
“ I love you, Aims.” He muttered faintly as their lips lubricate away earnestly.
Gentle sobs and moans followed each other as they felt each other's body crease along. Lost in each other, Lilia's hand slowly drifted down.
One thing led to another as the night drifted away.
