Eun Kyung POV.
I couldn't control my tears as they kept rolling down my cheeks.
This is how broken I've been since the day I saw Min jun, my son.
I really don't know how to face him after that day, I don't know how to seek for his forgiveness.
I know I've wronged him so much, I broke him and left him shattered, together with his dad. Oh lord, I just hope he would forgive me.
The door suddenly went open, and I quickly wiped the tears on my cheeks with the hem of my night gown.
I brushed my hair backward with my fingers, avoiding his gaze.
He crawled into bed and heaved a deep sigh.
I stood up and headed to the bathroom.
“So when do you intend to meet him?”
His voice stopped me from stepping into the bathroom. I turned to him, with confusion written all over my face.
“Who?” I asked him quietly, removing my eyes from his disgusting face.
“Your son” He replied, and I swiftly turned to him again. “Why are you surprised?” He asked, an annoying smirk lingering on his face.
“Jordan narrated everything to me”
I took my eyes to my feet, ashamedly.
“So when are you meeting him?”
“And your ex-husband?” He added in a mockery tone. “I don't know,” I bit out and bent the bathroom doorknob, but his voice stopped me again.
“You know, I still find it difficult to believe you're a mother”
“I mean, how can a real mother and a good wife left her family because of money”
My heart sank immediately after hearing that, as water built up in my eyes, my feet became feeble, but I managed to hold on to the door for support.
“You're a shame to motherhood, Eun kyung” He concluded.
The tears are now streaming down my cheeks, nonstop.
It felt like my heart has been ripped out of my chest. Without glancing at him, I bent the doorknob and rushed in.
I held my chest tightly, to prevent my heart from falling off.
I crouched to the floor and begin to cry my eyes out.
FLASHBACK
I rested my head on David's chest, enjoying his fingers massaging my head. “Can't you just leave your family and become mine fully?” David asked out of the blue.
I prop up myself instantly.
“What do you mean, David?” I asked gruffly.
“Eun kyung” He called after a short silence, sitting up. “I thought you said you love me,” He began, staring intensely into my eyes.
“You know… I thought I'll never feel completed again after I lost my wife- Jordan's mum, but you came into my life and completed me Eun kyung”
He took my hands, tenderly.
“I want you to be with me forever”
“I promise you won't regret it” He said with so much sincerity. I just stared at him, completely speechless.

“What are you doing, Eun kyung?” Tae joon asked behind me. I didn't turn to answer him.
“Where are you going with your luggage?” He asked after I finished packing.
“What does it look like?” I asked him nonchalantly. “It's over between us, Tae joon”
His eyes widened. “What are you…”
“Hey, let me finish talking,” I cut in harshly.
“I can't continue this with you anymore”
“You don't have money, and you're not ready to strive to get the money”
“But you know I'm trying my possible best, Eun kyung” He defended in a teary voice.
“I'm tired!” I yelled in frustration to his face and proceeded towards the door.
I got into the cozy living room and met Min jun lying on his chest on the floor, drawing on a note as usual. I stood rooted, staring down at him with a heavy heart.
Am I really going to leave my son?
He noticed my presence and looked up with a smile. He turned to his drawing and looked at me again, with a confused look.
“Omma(mom)?” He called, standing up.
“Are we going somewhere?” He asked, staring at the two bags in my hand.
He moved closer to where I was standing.
“Omma” He shook my arm.
“I'm leaving, Min jun,” I said and walked past him.” Where are you going without me and Dad?” “Are you traveling?”
“When are you coming back?”
He rushed his questions, following in step behind me. “Talk to me, Omma”
I got outside the house and turned to him.
“I'm never coming back, Min jun,” I told him flatly.
His face grew more confused.
“Your father is useless, he can't even cater for your needs not to talk of mine”
“But you and I both know it's not his fault, so how can you blame him?” He asked with tears in his eyes. “I'm tired and there's nothing you can say to convince me, I already made up my mind,” I said adamantly.
“What about me?”
He took a step closer.
I glanced at his back and saw Tae joon watching the scene, looking sorrowful.
“You're not putting me into consideration?”
He said, tears are already dripping down from his eyes. I gulped.
“I'm sorry Min jun, but I can't stand this any longer,” The driver David had sent to pick me halted in front of us.
He came down and opened the car door for me to enter. And without sparing them another look, I went into the car.
“Omma!” Min jun yelled from outside, moving close.
The driver got behind the wheels and drove away. “Omma!” Min jun kept shouting, running after the car.
“Omma, don't leave us, please”
“Omma!”
I wiped the tears that rolled my cheeks.
I'm sorry, Min jun.
I looked out from the car and watched as Tae joon consoled him, but he was still staring at the back of the car.
I watched them till they were out of sight. I hope I just made the right decision.

As soon as everything replayed in my head, I couldn't help but weep bitterly. “Forgive me son, please forgive me” I sobbed quietly, not moving from where I was sitting.
So, this is the real color of David after all.
He made me leave my family and now… And now… I'll never forgive him, never!
