When they arrived at a big house in the woods, Mr Joseph gestured for the driver to stop. "This is the place", he said. The driver parked in front of the house, with the front of coach facing towards another path. The driver went down the coach to go find somewhere to pee. He went beside the building. "We're here folks. Let's go down", Mr Joseph said with delight and went down with his own luggages. The students were surprised at where they had been taken to. Jonathan gaped at the house and Samuel had to close it for him. They all gradually went down the coach with their luggages. "So what do you fellers have to say about this?", Tricia gawked at Ben and Grace. "I'd go ask him for an explanation", Ben expressed his disappointment. "This house doesn't feel haunted to you guys?", a boy asked his two friends, feeling uncomfortable. "Let's get down and find out what's going on", one replied vaguely. "So this is where we'd stay for the tour", Mr Joseph headed for the house when Ben called on him. "This house obviously looks haunted Sir", he complained. "Haunted?", Mr Joseph chuckled over it, "This is where I once lived in", he said. "But what's fun about this place?", Ben questioned, making sure he behaved respectfully. "We'll just be living here. The fun is around. There are a lot of secret wonders you guys would love to see", he replied. Ben looked round to find anything eye-catching. The driver walked back to the coach, zipping up his trousers. He met Tricia leaning on the coach with her belongings, wearing a dramatic frown on her face. "Your fellow students are trying to get acquainted with the place. Why are you in a bad mood?", he asked her. "How's this place better than the national park?", Tricia felt annoyed. "Well...I understand. But as a driver, I have nothing to do or say but to drive to wherever he wants me to go", he said casually. "But this house is very creepy looking. It looks like a house of ghosts in the movies", she said. "House of ghosts?", the driver found it hilarious, "This is where Mr Joseph once lived in. You never knew about it?", he stared at her in excitement. "Like seriously?", she got surprised. "Of course! I'm surprised you never knew", he smiled. "But why are we here then? His former place of residence for a tour?", she asked curiously. "You guys will live here during your stay. During the days, you all would go for hiking each day to go see some secret natural wonders around here. This house is only meant for sleeping in at nights", he informed her. "How did you get all this information?", Tricia gazed at him in disbelief. "Over there!", he pointed, "You can see Mr Joseph addressing your fellow students. When I walked past them to get here, I clearly overheard what he was telling them." "And besides...look at others. They're in groups of two or more chatting about amusing things", he signalled to Tricia, who noticed Ben and Grace with other fellow students in her class level, having a playful group discussion. "I understand you left home for this tour, very excited about the visitation to the national park. But trust me, this tour is going to have a lot of memorable moments", he bumped her shoulder playfully, with a smile. Tricia felt she should take what he said into consideration. She observed Mr Joseph calling on everyone and wanted to go be a part of it. "Let me join the rest", she excused herself. "No problem. Just remember to have fun!", he exclaimed. Tricia hurriedly joined Ben and Grace and the rest of the students of her same level - they all stood behind their junior students as they were being addressed. "This is where I once lived...I haven't even visited here for years so, as expected, it should be really dusty, especially inside. We'll all do a little clean up - I brought detergents, buckets and so on. Let's get to work immediately", he instructed everyone. He went to open the entrance door almost immediately. He brought out the keys from his breast pocket and unlocked the door, before using his leg to kick it open. A reasonable amount of dust was all over his face. He coughed twice and used his hands to drive the dust away. He went into the house and took in a deep breath. "This house is really stuffy", he said to himself. The rest gradually walked in, all ready to clean up. They gasped when they saw how very dusty the house was, cobwebs everywhere. But generally, they all knew the house would be beautiful and dazzling once they were done cleaning up, which they craved to see. "I'm sure the taps are in good condition. Let me just get some cleaning equipment", said Mr Joseph, who went through the crowd of students to go out of the house. "Some of you guys should come give me a helping hand", he said to them. Some of the students went out to help him out, Ben was one of them - he was feeling so enthusiastic about everything. Tricia looked up and round and smiled faintly. "I think cleaning up as a group will be really fun", she said to Grace. "Was just thinking about the same thing", Grace smiled. * * * Tricia opened the door to a large room. She and her classmates exclaimed at the size of the room. They went in with their cleaning equipment. "This room is really large. It will be enough for all fifteen of us", remarked a girl amongst them. "Let's start cleaning so we could then rest", Tricia clapped her hands to her fellow students, signifying they should begin as soon as possible. Those with the long brushes, removed the cobwebs from the walls, especially the ones high up. Tricia joined the group of people who swept the room, while the ones that were to mop, began mopping the areas that had just been swept. There were moments of fun. Ben threw the peel of banana he just had to the path where Tricia was sweeping away dirt. Tricia looked up and saw Ben smiling at her, whom she responded to with a smirk and went on with her sweeping. He threw a second one along her path which made her chase him. He ran out of the room and she let him go. Samuel and Jonathan joined their classmates to clean up their own large room. Jonathan was mopping the floor when Samuel called him, standing by the window with a smirk on the face. He lifted up his hand and Jonathan saw Samuel was in possession of his diary. "What are you doing with my diary?", Jonathan felt nervous he was going to read it out. "I told you I'd get to read it one day", Samuel smirked. "Give me my diary right now", he wanted running towards Samuel to go get his book but he slipped and fell on the wet floor. How he fell was the hilarious moment that made everyone laugh. Samuel opened the diary and read out;"A day never to forget..." "I'm going to kill you Samuel", Jonathan got up immediately and ran after him before he could say any more words. Samuel ran out of the room and Jonathan followed him. They went down the stairs. The rest in the room chuckled over everything that happened. The driver was also involved in the clean up. He was cleaning up his very own small bedroom, dancing and whistling as he mopped the floor. When done with the bedroom, he cleaned up the toilet that was in a small room inside his bedroom. Even Mr Joseph was cleaning up his room very diligently. "If not the room's condition was this dirty, why should I be cleaning up a room I won't use for long?", he said to himself. He opened up the wardrobe and dust was everywhere. He used his hands to drive them off. "I think I should also clean up this thing", he said. He dipped the cloth material he held in his hand into a bucket of soapy water and brought it out after a short while, giving it a tight squeeze to drain out most of the water. He used the wet cloth material to clean up the wardrobe. "This wardrobe is very dusty", he said with a grimace as he cleaned it up. After cleaning up the rooms, some students volunteered to clean up the various toilets. Some decided to clean up the windows and the various furniture and home appliances, while the rest went ahead to clean up the remaining places of the building. Every single person participated fully...
