"What in the world is going on? Grandmother, who is she can't? What is she doing?" Crystal asked while gripping her grandmother's wrist.
"She is Queen Annabelle... Lyca's stepmother!" Xavier answered Crystal's question. "And if you don't want to see your covenant being eradicated, let me get out of this spell!" he added while glaring at Crystal's grandmother.
"In the end, this problem is brought by Lyca!" Crystal's grandmother retorted while dispelling the enchantment she put on Xavier.
"Grandmother, Lyca did nothing wrong... It's you! You brought this problem to our land because you couldn't accept that you couldn't control the future Priestess!" Crystal reasoned while frowning.
"Silent! It's all because of you! If you hadn't gone crazy with a boy, I wouldn't have accepted that girl! There wouldn't be a problem now! Our covenant would be silent and rejoicing your supposed appointment as the new Priestess!"
Crystal was speechless in shock because of her unreasonable grandmother.
"This is not the time for you to fight! As you can see, Queen Annabelle is not here to enjoy and play sweet with all of you!" Xavier exclaimed while looking at the terrible weather brewing. He remembers the power the wicked witch displays in Greyfield's kingdom.
"Xavier, do you know what Queen Annabelle is planning to do?" Crystal asked, ignoring her grandmother.
"Xavier shook his head. "I don't know, but I've seen this power... The Wicked Witch that Lyca and I had an encounter with in the Greyfield of Kingdom also showed this power."
"It's a form of destruction... An ancient spell that no one in our covenant has ever cast because it requires extensive knowledge and strong power..."
Xavier took a step backward when someone jumped in front of him. "Albert! I knew it!" he exclaimed while glittering his teeth.
"Crystal, evacuate all your citizens. Since we don't know what Queen Annabella is planning." Xavier suggested. "I will try to disturb her so that you have enough time to get away," he added. Xavier was about to approach the Queen when someone blocked his way.
"And where do you think you're going?"
Xavier took a step backward when someone jumped in front of him. "Albert! I knew it!" he exclaimed while glittering his teeth.
"Do you really think you can easily defeat us?" Albert roared while sneering. Then he took out a knife and prepared to fight.
Xavier shook his head. "No. From the start, we already know that you are not that easy to kill. That's why we are ready for you to sow terror again!" Xavier responded with a cynical smile.
"This is our last confrontation because I will make sure that you are erased from the world!" Albert roared, and then he started to transform into his monster while running; his claws and fangs were ready to pierce Xavier.
Xavier didn't hold back anymore; he released his claws and met Albert's daring and deadly attack.
Meanwhile, the villagers started rioting, but none of them could leave the place where they were standing.
"What is going on? I can't move my body!"
"Me too! Something is holding me, and I don't know where it's coming from!"
Then one by one, the villagers seemed to burn out, falling to the cold ground one by one as their eyes became hallowed.
Crystal, who was going to the crowd, was quickly stopped by her grandmother. " Stop! You can't do anything! You can't save them..." she retorted while tightly holding Crystal's arm. Then she looked at Queen Annabelle the glittery that had rained earlier came out of the villagers' bodies. It was brighter and thicker. "They are all dead..."
Crystal's eyes widened as her knees went weak. "But how?" she uttered with tears forming in her eyes. At some point, she started to blame herself. If she did not disobey her grandmother, her grandmother would never look for a replacement.
"I never thought that our covenant would meet this terrible fate..." the Priestess murmured, then she clenched her fist. "No matter what happens, you need to survive! I can't allow our race to be erased from the surface of the world!"
Crystal did not understand this remark immediately, so she was shocked when she felt her body floating in the air. "Grandmother... W-what are you doing... Please, I can't leave you behind..." Crystal started to panic.
"My child, you need to survive!" the Priestess declared and smiled.
Crystal's tears kept flowing; this was the first time her grandmother smiled at her with love. "Grandmother... please..." But this plea was swallowed by the wind because Crystal quickly disappeared.
"It's heartbreaking... You still love your precious granddaughter even though she disappoints you..." Queen Annabelle asserted with mockery as she turned to the Priestess.
"Of course, the love of the grandmother will never be broken no matter how many times my grandchild fails..." the Priestess responded with a proud smile on her face while walking closer to Queen Annabella. "I understand that you can't understand it because you don't have a family..."
Queen Annabella's cynical smile was wiped away, "Being alone is power... I know you know that because you are like me!" she asserted and raised her arms. The glitters moved closer to her, then circled around her body. "Plead... If you want to receive my mercy, beg and swear your loyalty..."
"Ha Ha Ha! Beg and swear my loyalty to you? Are you crazy? I rather die than be with someone like you!" the Priestess spicy response. Then she releases a binding spell that she had prepared earlier.
"Queen Annabelle's face darkened. "Then die!" she exclaimed and waved her hand.
After this movement, the priestess's body floated in the sky, and then some black shadows flew and hit her body several times.
"A weak Priestess like you will never survive the harsh work! I've been living in this world for many years and I've proven it!"
When the shadow stopped attacking the body of the Priestess she was lifeless. And Queen Annabelle mercilessly dropped her body on the ground. "Pathetic. You will never succeed if you have a heart!"
Meanwhile, Xavier and Albert continue to fight but the latter's strength has greatly changed.
"Ugh!" Xavierwalked moaned as his body fell from the bonfire.
"Surrender so you could live!"
