EIGHT pm Matthew was in front of The Manor Bar. His friends are already inside. Earlier, he went home to his condo and lay down, feeling annoyed. He thought he wouldn't be drowsy, but he was wrong. Just a few seconds later, he was already snoring. That's why he slept longer. He took huge steps to go inside the bar. Every group of women he passes by. Their eyes were fixed on him. You can see the admiration in their eyes. Well, who wouldn't? Matthew was dazzling in his outfit, even though it was simple. He was wearing a blue sweatshirt and dark jeans with a tear on his knee. He only wears this outfit when they go to a bar. But when it came to business and work, he was so different. When he reached his friend's table, "Good evening everyone," he greeted them.
His friends. Carlo, Lai, Mateo, looked at him.
"You're late Mr. grumpy," Carlo greeted him.
"Hey, don't say that. Tonight, I'm not. Look. " He smiled. "Did you see?" He even pointed at is lips, which were smiling. 
"Oh, you're," Lai said, but in his voice he didn't believe him, even though he was smiling.
"You're too much, Lai. Why are you here? You just recently wed?" He sat next to her."You should be in sweet mode right now." You should let her alone. You are bad, Mr. Husband."
"Well, she hangs out too with her friends. "Because tomorrow we are leaving for our honeymoon." He emphasizes the word "honeymoon" to make his three friends jealous that they're still single. But he knows they're not. 
"Okay, enjoy your honeymoon, and make her pregnant, Lai. So can be a Daddy's right away.
"Of course I will, Matthew. I promised myself that by the time I was thirty or older, I would be a father. Well, how old are you? When you want to be called Daddy,  Papa. mostly you, Matthew. "
"What? Why do you always see me, Lai? Why not them?" he pointed to the two friends. 
The two were just smiling. They know why Matthew is always Lai's target, and they are always nagging him too. Because he was aloof toward women, he would only choose one if he had one. 
"Them? You know them, right? They're greedy for women."
Matthew continued to laugh at what Lai said. Carlo and Mateo also laughed. 
"What a good word to describe them, Lai. How appropriate!"
"You two are crazy," Carlo said. 
"Yes, we are," Matthew and Lai responded at the same time. 
When Rosy and Lia enter, inside the bar. 
"There are so many people, Lia."
"Yes, because it's Saturday; where are they?" Lia specific to their co-workers. 
Rosy looked around."There they are, Lia." She even pointed to where the four women were. 
"Let's go approach them, Rosy."
They immediately went to the companions. 
"Hi, Lia," Rowena greeted as she looked at Rosy."Oh, is it good, that you come along, Rosy?" She's one of the most gossip in the company, and it even surpasses social media when it comes to news. 
"Yes, Lia invited me, so I came," Rosy replied. 
Of all the people in the company, this is the one that Rosy avoids; there is only one thing she can see or hear. Then immediately let her fellow gossip know already. She's the one who reported that she has a boyfriend; she just overheard her talking to someone. 
Even though it was noisy and crowded, the name Rosy seemed like a bullet train that entered Matthew's ears. He frowned."Huh? She's here?" He would have just told himself those words, but they came out of his mouth. 
"The who?" asked the three friends. 
"What?" He didn't get who they were asking. 
"What happened to you, Matthew? You said, she's here."
Damnit he voice out that. He's crazy you."Oh did I say that?"
"You're really crazy, Matthew. So, did we say that? Hmmm, who's that woman?" Carlo looked around. to see if they know any women around. Yes, there is, but he knows it. Matthew doesn't know them. 
Matthew couldn't stop looking around. Maybe he just heard the name wrong. 
"Are you looking for her?" Lai asked. 
"Maybe," Matthew responded, but his eyes were looking around. When he looked behind him, he saw what he wanted to see. Suddenly, a smile appeared on his lips. "Really, she's." He leaned back on the couch to listen to what the girls behind him were talking about. 
The three friends looked at him. They are mystified by what it did.
"What are you doing, Matthew?" Lai commented to him. 
Matthew's response to this was to shake his head. He can't say he's catching a gossip. They know he doesn't like such things. Even if it's news on TV, he has no interest in gossip. 
Lai poured liquor into the glass and gave it to Matthew."Drink before you feel sleep," he joked. 
Matthew smiled and took what Lai handed him. "Thanks, cheers," he said. 
"Rosy, how are you and your boyfriend?" Rowena asked. 
"Boyfriend?" Matthew said. 
His three friends frowned while looking at him again. 
"What happened to him?" said Mateo. 
Lai and Carlo joined shoulders. Because if they think about Matthew's actions, they are going to be stressed out by it. 
"We're fine, Rowena; we're still sweet to each other," Rosy replied, but her eyes were focused on Lia. She needs help. 
"Did you say he was coming here today, Rosy?"
Rosy didn't answer right away. If she says yes, who will come? She can just tell the truth so that she will be quiet about the question about the ex. 
"Of course he's going; maybe he's already outside," Lia replied. 
Matthew looked back at what he heard. She really has a boyfriend? He was even jealous of Gabriel Magno. Or maybe the companion is referring to Gabriel. But he was sure: Gabriel isn't her boyfriend.
Rosy's eyes widened at Lia's answer to Rowena. My goodness, this is insane. Where did she get a boyfriend now? 
The way the woman acted caused Matthew to frowned. She appeared astonished by what the woman next to her stated. Fortunately, the woman was facing him, allowing him to observe her reaction. And if he studies her reaction, he will be sure that she doesn't have a boyfriend.
"Really? It's good for us to see him, isn't it, guys?"
"You're right, Rowena," her companions responded. 
Rosy looked at people, especially men. Maybe she'll see someone she knows, then talk to him and pretend to be his boyfriend, even for an hour. 
Matthew sat up straight when he saw the woman's gaze move to where they were. 
"Hey! Matthew, why are you acting so weird? Tell us what happened to you." Carlo said.
"Nothing, don't mind me, okay, let's just drink." He poured some liquor into his glass. "Cheers," he said again. 
Rosy was restless because the opportunity was not in her favor again. There are a lot of men around, but she doesn't know anyone. She sighed silently because she's going to be caught. 
Ten minutes passed. 
"Why isn't he here yet, Rosy?" Rowena asked again. 
Rosy wants to be annoyed. Why's she just given her attention to his boyfriend and not to her? She clings to Lia and whispers. "Lia, where can I get my boyfriend to see them now? Why did you say he was coming here?"
"I'm sorry; I thought she'd be quiet. Jeez, she is more excited!" She also whispered to Rosy. "Wait, I'll ask her if her boyfriend is coming too."
"Alright, Lia, go ask her."
"Ah, Rowena, are your boyfriends coming here tonight too?"
"Oh, yes, Lia. "Speaking of my boyfriend, that's my honey," she replied with a smile when she saw her boyfriend approaching them. 
When Rowena's boyfriend approached. 
"Honey, why are you only now?" Rowena asked her boyfriend. 
"It was traffic; that's why I'm late," the man replied. 
A few minutes later, the boyfriends of the three women arrived one by one. Lia and Rosy suddenly feel that they are out of place. because they are so sweet in front of them even though they are still standing. So they can clearly see how they moved and even dance. Wait, why are they standing here at the round table? Her feet were so numb that she just sighed. 
Matthew saw the woman sigh. He suddenly got up. The three friends were surprised by what he did. 
"Where are you going, Matthew?" Lai asked. 
"Around!" He answered briefly and walked away. 
"Rosy, where is your boyfriend? Why did he take so long to come here?" Rowena asked again. 
Hey, this girl can't be satisfied with her boyfriend. She will be able to sew her mouth to stop the question about her boyfriend. They are now at the bar to unwind, but this woman is stressing her mind. She seems to want to walk out now. 
"Maybe he's the same with your boyfriend—he's trap in traffic, Rowena," she replied. 
"I'm already here, yeah, so there's heavy traffic on the road; that way, I'm late." Said the newly man arrive as he wrapped his hand around Rosy's waist. 
Rosy was not shocked by what the man did. She didn't know why she didn't protest when he put his hand on her waist. Shouldn't he remove it at the same time and call it rude? But he said I'm here. So, it meant he was rescuing her. She looked at who this daring man was. Her eyes were wide. Because she just meet him this afternoon twice, at the car dealer and at the restaurant. 
Carlo, Lai, and Mateo hey frowned together because there friend did. It was new them that he even approached a woman himself and did that. They looked at each othother,nd their eyes asked the same question: Who's that lucky woman? 
Matthew whispered in the woman's ear and said, "Being your substitute boyfriend for tonight, we have to act suitably to believe them, right?"
Rosy was about to open her mouth. To ask him how? But the man covered her lips with his.
