When the anniversary of the academy students were excitedly welcomed their families. The well-known nobles had already arrived and were welcomed by our teachers. Then we saw knights as they announce the arrival of the Imperial family. We all bow our heads when the Imperial Carriage came and the Imperial family step down.
"Greetings to the Emperor and Empress."
"You may now all rise. Thank you for the warm welcome." They wave their hands and the headmaster assists the Emperor and Empress inside the hall. We stayed outside waiting for them and the Damien pointed to their carriage.
"Alora our Carriage is already here." Alaric's carriage stopped and we go and welcomed the head of Alaric and his wife.
"Greetings to the head of Alaric Sir Daniel, Madam Litia Alaric. I'm glad to see you both again."
"Welcome Father, Mother."
"Thank you, Alora it's nice to see you again. Your still beautiful as ever."
"Thank you."
"Your Father?"
"They are still not here."
"Let's head into the grand hall Sir, Madam Alaric?" I said and he nod.
"Hmm. Let's wait for your family inside." I nod and smiled, we head to the grand hall and the students are carefully watching us. Damien's family greeted first the Imperial family and I wait for them as they were chatting for minutes.
"We greet our great Emperor, Empress."
"You attend as well Hellios Capell."
"Yes, Your Majesty, because it's been a while since I attend a banquet like this."
"Why don't you introduce yourselves?" The head of Capell delightfully looks at his sons.
"I'm Hayes Capell, Your Majesty."
"Jackson Capell."
"And I'm Will Capell."
"It's an honor to introduce ourselves to His Majesty the Emperor, we are grateful."

"Thank you, Your Majesty." The emperor was paying more on Hayes and they talked for a long time that is why Hellios Capell was smiling from ear to ear.

Then the Eyron is next to greet the Imperial Family and we all watch them.
"Greetings to the Emperor and Empress of this Empire. Please do allow me to introduce my sons to you."

"Alora." Damien softly grips my arm.

"Your father." I bow my head to Damien's father and he nod. I walked toward my family and greet them.
"You came Father, Mother." father nods, and I kiss their cheeks.
"Let's go and greet the Imperial Family."
"Yes." I walked beside them and they turned their heads to us.
"The esteemed Astleys, I didn't know that you'll pay a visit here."
"Greetings to His Majesty Emperor Keega, Empress Kasumi."
"Still the same Kalen I knew, you surprised me again."
"I was glad to see again you, Your Majesty."
"Me too, Haha."
"Is this Alora?"
"Yes, Your Majesty," I said and bow my head to them.
"Back then you were so small but now, you look beautiful the same as your mother." Then she smiled and look at the Crown Prince.
"In honored Empress Kasumi."
"So, where's Kaden and Kio?" the emperor asked.
"Kaden will be here later, while Kio is taking care of his wife." the emperor nodded and clap.
"Why don't we start the sword fighting, I'm excited to see the skills of the students here. Kalen be sure to watch the match."
"Of course, Your Majesty."
"Then I'll see you later." we bow our heads to them once again and they leave the grand hall first.
"I'm expecting a good result in this match Alora." I nod.
"Yes, father."
"Kalen, Aviva long time no see."
"I greet the head of Astley Sir Kalen, Madam Aviva." Damien bows his head and kisses the back of his mother's hand.
"My, Damien Lastrair is sure handsome today because the last time I saw you in Levan you always look stressed."
"Haha, Thank you, Madam."
"We will excuse ourselves now, we need to be ready," I said and they nod.
"Hmm."
"My Lady." I look at Arlene and nod.
"Arlene it's good that you're here too, help me change."
"Yes, My Lady."
"I'll meet you later." I nod and we parted ways. After I change, we immediately find Damien and after a minute the match starts.
"I present you Sir Damien Alaric and his opponent the Imperial knight from Third division Sir Yu."
"I didn't know that you are the first to fight."
"Just watch, this is easy I will win this."
"Do it, idiot." We were amazed by the fight between Damien and Sir Yu because it didn't last long. And with a smug face Damien walk toward me and I clap my hand slowly.
"See. I told you, easy."
"That Sir Yu did go easy on you, I saw it." he shakes his head and the Crown Prince goes next.
"His strength is the same as Kio."
"Then he is sure strong." the crowd cheered for the Crown Prince when he won.
"Lady Alora Astley!" I smiled at Damien and held my sword.
"Take care, My Lady."
"Thank you, Arlene."
"I will laugh really hard in front of Kaden if you lose. Make sure not to be trip."
"Sure."
"Astley."
"Please go easy on me." we bow our heads to each other.
"I'm sorry My Lady but I know that Astley is good at fighting, show me how you fight."
"As you wish Sir Yu."
"Fight!" Damien is right it looks like I'm fighting with brother Kio. I attack but he immediately blocks it.
I smirk and decided to finish it and when I saw that he is open, I attack, I swing the sword from right to left and he step back and when I tried to hit his abdomen for a second, he lost his balance.
He smiled at me when he saw that I was pointing the sword at his throat. We both bowed to each other and he kiss the back of my hand.
"You won My Lady."
"Thank you." I smiled at him. Damien stands up he does look disappointed that I won. "Look at your face, I think I'm the one who is going to laugh hard."
"Tsk let's go."
"You did great My Lady."
"Thank you, Arlene." she holds my sword and we go to our family's side.
"Your sword skills improve."
"Thank you, Father." we watch the competition and the emperor gave a speech after that.
"Your brothers are sure late."
"Arlene please do look if Kaden already arrived and bring him to our room."
"Yes, Madam." we stayed in the banquet hall; I can feel the stares of everyone since we got here. And the students that I made eye contact immediately bowed their heads and avert their eyes. Well, can't blame them they must be pretty surprised a while ago.
