Andrei P.O.V.
While I was cooking I heard something strange from upstairs so I quickly ran over there.
"Why? What hurts?" I asked worriedly.
"A-andrei" she suddenly hugged me tightly "I-i thought you left me".
"I'm cooking breakfast for you and for our baby" I gently stroked her stomach. It didn’t stop crying so I picked it up and went down to the kitchen "I'll just finish what I'm cooking then I'll feed you" she smiled and nodded. She stood up and went in front of the refrigerator.
"A-ack" I was confused as she vomited in the sink.
"hey you okay?"
"I'm fine, please remove the yogurt from the refrigerator. I really don't like the smell"
"Morning sickness still? It's your 8th month in pregnancy" I wondered.
"I don't know, don't ask" When I finished cooking I fed her.
"Eli"
"Why?" she gently stroked her stomach with a smile. She's really back!
"Mom and dad would have come here" I began. I averted my eyes as he raised an eyebrow at me “If it is okay–” she didn’t let me finish my words.
"Yeah right, why don't they come here? I'll prepare the food for them. Mom and dad's favorite" my eyes widened at what I heard' “It’s been a long time since I saw them and I miss them” she giggled.
“Aren’t you mad at them?” I asked almost in a whisper.
"I am" embarrassed I averted my eyes "But he's the parent of my baby's father and besides they're his grandparents" she smiled but with a bit of bitterness in her speech. I never wasted the opportunity and embraced it.
"Thank you, you're still the best"
"Just please, can they bring me pancakes. I'm really craving it" she said, then entered the kitchen.
"Son, if Eliana doesn't agree, it's okay. We totally understand" mom said sadly.
"Just bring her pancakes mom when you come here" I am really happy.
"Really? Oh thank God!" Joy overflows in my heart. This is what I want.Peaceful life.
"Eliana, I'll just cook"
“NOOO, I AM THE ONE WHO’S GONNA COOK” She shouted in my face.
"No! You’ll just exhaust yourself" I said annoyedly.
"It's for your parents" was her annoying answer.
"They know your condition, Eli".
"What is my condition?" she asked angrily "Am I crippled?" I quickly shook my head "Then let me do this".
"Fine but I'll help" she stopped arguing with me and let me help.
“I'll just take a shower" she said and went upstairs.
"Be careful stepping," I reminded. I can't lose another baby... so I'm becoming over protective.
"Mom Dad" I exclaimed.
"How long have I not been here son" mom smiled bitterly.
I put my arm around it and kissed it on the cheek "Everything is fine mom"
"Well... I hope so" she sighed
"Where is Eliana? Did she rest early?" Dad asked.
"She just took a shower, because she’s the one who cooked" they looked at me in shock "well she insisted,” I added.
"That's good"
"ANDREIIII" we all looked up at Eliana's shouted.
"W-what happened?" I hurriedly entered our room.
“I am really fat” she snarls "My pants don't fit me anymore" she even showed her pants on her thigh only. Laughing, I approached her, “why are you laughing at me?” She punched my chest.
I caress her hair and gently kiss her forehead, "No matter how beautiful you are, how size you are or how short you are. I still love you. Nothing will change. I still love you" I wiped her tears.
She chose to wear the maternity dress that her cousin Jairo bought her.
"Our b-baby is kicking" she put my hand on her stomach and we both felt our little angel kicking.
"Thank you" I mouthed "Thank you for loving me endless" I turned her closer to me and gently kissed her on the lips.
"I love you Eliana, I always do" I whispered.
"I love you too hubby" I was shocked to see her smiling sweetly at me.
"E-excuse me?" I said incredulously.
"It's up to you" it's okay I'll stand up when I stop her "let me go" I shook my head "You won't let me go?" For the second time I shook my head. My head twisted as he slapped me hard. I heard her loud laugh.
"I love you" even though my cheek hurt, I took it. For sure her palm scratches my cheek.
"Let's go down," she said. I helped her down the stairs.
"Andrei, I hope they have pancakes. I really want to eat then"
"Of course they would never forget your request" her eyes were shining and she was still clapping.
"I'm excited to continue eating" she giggled which made me even happier
"E-eliana" my mom and dad stammered. Eliana had no emotion to face my parents
"we're very sorry about the-" mom didn't finish what Eliana was going to say when she held out her hand.
“Pancakes?” It seemed like a childish question. Mom looked at me, I just nodded.
"H-here Eli" dad handed over a bag of pancakes. Eliana took it kindly and then turned to face me.
"Andrei, I already have pancakes! See this? They bought me this delicious pancakes" she lifted her pancakes. "Omoooooo cook this pleaseeee".
"I'll just cook Eli," mom insisted.
Eliana shook her head "Don't worry, you're tired of the trip, right Andrei?" she even looked at my face.
"It's okay"
"okayyy" Eliana handed the pancakes to dad again then sat down.
"Eliana ija"
"yes?"
"Forgive us" Eliana frowned as mom and I both knelt down, soon I knelt down as well.
"What are you doing? Andrei? Tita? Tito? Stand up" she pulled me
"Forgive us for what we did to you Eliana son. We are sorry for what we did. We didn't know" mom cried.
"We have nothing to face to present to you Eliana, son" dad added. Eliana held dad and mom's hand.
"Nobody likes everything that happened to me. I sacrificed myself for my husband and besides you're Andrei's parents." she said with a smile "I don't want to instill resentment in my children's grandparents" their eyes widened "I want to live peacefully" she sweetly smiled "So I forgive you po" she giggled.
"Thank you so much Eliana, we did so much trouble for you. We did so much damage to you but you still forgave us" mom sobbed.
"Thank you ija, sorry again" dad said bowing.
"I'm just waiting for you to come here to our house and visit us and I thought you might still be embarrassed" I held her hands and kissed it.
"thank you" I whispered to her.
"Let's eat. I cooked your favorite" she invited us.
The night went well. We talked a lot and went back in time and explained both sides but still.
Eliana, my wife didn't change her decision. She still forgives my parents and me. Even the sheer size of our guilt on her.
"I Love you wife" I kissed her lips "I love you gabriel" I kissed her tummy. "I love you kuya Josh" I whispered to the air.
"I love you too hubby," Eliana said with narrow eyes. Then he squeezed me and hugged me tightly. I am the luckiest man … I found the right lady for me.
