"Ria, My priority is my baby" I said calmly.
"Won't you give Andrei a chance? You know, I'm mad at him even though Neil is mad at him but he doesn't know everything before so he did that to you. But he's recovering right?" I sighed.
"It's not that easy, Ria. you know that"
"It's not easy for his side either Eli, Tell him what you told him you'll never leave him but you don't give him a chance" I looked away from what she said.
"I wasn't ready, Ria," I confess.
"I don't get it. You've forgiven Andrei as well as his parents but you're still not ready?"
"Maybe I'll get hurt again, Ria," I looked at her with teary eyes. "Maybe if we don't have a child yet, I'll gamble but I don't want to lose a child. I don't blame andrei but i don't want to" my long litany
"Then when will you be ready, Eliana? When Andrei is tired?" I was stunned by what she said.
Andrei P.O.V.
'Right! She's not ready yet, she did forgive us but maybe... ever... she won't be ready...'
I didn't stop listening to the conversation between Ria and Eli, I went straight to the bar area and there I mumbled.
"I regret all I've done Eli, I hope you give me a second chance" I swallowed the wine I was holding "Everybody deserves a second chance D-mn"
"It's like heaven and earth are covering you before" Neil joked.
Today was our baby shower but it was as if heaven and earth were covering me. I sighed "Just thinking bro"
"and what is that?" Ria arched her eyebrows at me.
"Nothing"
"Hey man! Maybe you're having another woman, huh?" My eyes narrowed at what Ria said.
"No I won't do that, I swear" I seriously promised.
