So Eun and Junsu are now spending the night together in Junsu's apartment, preparing their special dinner. They celebrate Junsu's previous successful live performance and make up for the time they were apart for a week. So Eun hasn't told Junsu about the drama offer she received. She is still hesitant to accept the offer because she is unsure how she will work with her ex-boyfriend, Lee Hyuk Soo.
She has been stealing glances in his direction since they started cooking together. She is still debating whether or not to tell Junsu about the drama. She doesn't want to make the man uncomfortable by bringing up her ex-boyfriend, but she does believe she needs his opinion on whether she should accept the offer or not. So when they start eating, So Eun keeps staring at him and attempting to strike up a conversation, but she is still unable to speak.
"Why are you so worried?" Junsu, who notices So Eun acting strangely, can't help but question her. He can tell that his girlfriend is attempting to communicate with him, but he has no idea why she is hesitate about that.
So Eun is looking him in the eyes, and he is paying close attention to her and patiently waiting for her response. She lets out a long sigh before speaking up.
"To be honest, I just received a drama offer, and they want to cast me as the female lead..." The actress speaks carefully about the subject.
"That's fantastic news! Congratulations" Junsu is overjoyed for her, and he smiles and holds her hand on the table to express his gratitude. His response is able to put a smile on her face; he will never disappoint her. She begins to tell him about the genre and so on, as well as the possibility of having to shoot a lot overseas.
"It's mean... We might rarely see each other during the shoot," she explained quietly. She laments the fact that they will almost never meet him in person. A week apart makes her miss him terribly; what if they never see each other again after this?
"Are you really afraid of being separated from me? You are adorable "Junsu, on the other hand, responds in a more relaxed manner. He even pinches her chubby cheek and gives her a sweet smile. It causes the actress to pout.
"It's all right... Even though we are separated by distance, we can still see each other. I believe it would be a fantastic experience and opportunity for you to improve your skills... Simply accept it "Junsu is encouraging his girlfriend to pursue her dream. He believes she would be excellent at it.
"Should I really accept it?" she inquires once more. Junsu simply smiled and nodded. So Eun smiles, followed by Junsu.
"Is the male lead chosen? Who will have the good fortune to act alongside you?" Junsu inquires excitedly. So Eun is surprised when he brings up that specific topic. Her smile vanished in an instant.
In hushed tones, she calls out the name "Lee Hyuk Soo."
Junsu's expression has changed at that point. He no longer smiles and can only stare at her with a blank expression. So Eun, who noticed the change in his expression, became concerned. Is he going to ask her to decline the offer now that he knows who her partner will be?
"That's great, but wasn't he the previous year's best rockie actor? Waah... I can already see this drama's future success." Junsu smiles once more and displays his positive side. All of what he said is true, but So Eun doesn't feel right about it. Junsu may be able to say something like this to motivate her to act with Hyuk Soo because he is unaware of their previous relationship.
"Honestly, Junsu-ah... Lee Hyuk Soo... He is..." So Eun is about to confess about her previous lover and reveal the truth about Lee Hyuk Soo to Junsu.
"I know," Junsu said, but she cut her sentences at that point.
"About what?" So Eun is perplexed; what does he mean when he says he knows? She looks at him with a puzzled expression on her face.
"That guy... Isn't he the one who made you cry when I sang your song? The inspiration for 'Sad Love'... Is he your ex-lover?" Junsu is trying to remain calm and smile as he asks that question, even though, to be honest, he doesn't feel good about it.
"How...do you know?" she inquires once more. So Eun makes a point of never bringing up Hyuk Soo in front of Junsu. She also never discusses her previous relationships with anyone. Aside from So Eun and Hyuk Soo, only Kim Young Kwang is aware of their previous relationship in this industry. That top model, however, never interacts with Junsu.
So Eun's college friends are the only others who are aware of their previous relationship... But she is also certain that none of her friends are acquainted with Junsu. So, how does he find out about their relationship?
"I noticed that man staring at you during his award speech, his expression indicating that he has a deep relationship with you, and I also noticed how awkward you are when he is around... So I've just concluded... Am I correct?" He carefully questions So Eun.
So Eun can't believe what he just said; how can he come to that conclusion after only seeing their encounter once? She is still perplexed and unable to make sense of the situation.
"Only a man who can read the other man's emotions from their gaze... That man, it appears that he still has feelings for you..." Junsu's lip is smiling but his eyes show otherwise when he mentioned that. He appears to be trouble.
So Eun is well aware of Hyuk Soo's feelings for her, and she also knows that Hyuk Soo still has romantic feelings for her. Because that man had previously told her directly about it. She can also deduce the meaning of Junsu's expression on the subject. His troubled expression weighed heavily on her heart. As a result, she is unable to say anything about it.
"I believe in you, So Eun-ah," Junsu says confidently.It took her by surprise. Junsu may also discover that she is well aware that Hyuk Soo still has feelings for him at this point. If she were in his shoes, she would certainly believe that the reason she is hesitant to participate in the same project as her ex lover is because she still has feelings for him. His unwavering consideration moved her deeply.
So Eun is extremely grateful to have a boyfriend like Junsu, who is not only romantic but also sweet. However, he has his own way of making her feel at ease on numerous occasions. She gets up from her seat and walks toward him. She wraps her arms around his neck, resting her cheek on his shoulder.
"Thank you so much, Junsu-ah... Really," she says sweetly. Junsu turns his head in her direction and closely observes her expression. He only smiles for her and only for her. The singer then moves his hand closer to So Eun's face and begins to kiss her tenderly.
Hyuk Soo, on the other hand, leans back against the sofa, taking a break from his hectic schedule. He scrolls through his phone and comes across some articles that confirm So Eun and Junsu's dating news. His face hardens as he reads the contents. In his mind, a flashback from when he was still dating So Eun appears.
"So Eun-ssi, you and Hyuk Soo appear to be very close; are you two dating?" On the set, one of the staff from their drama novel-web asks So Eun a playful question. The actress appears perplexed by the question.
"It's not what you think it is." So Eun gives the staff an ambiguous response, refusing to deny or admit their relationship. The staff does not appear to be satisfied with the answer, but she has been summoned by the director and cannot question So Eun further.
When the staff has left, So Eun turns around to see Hyuk Soo walking in her direction. He stood calmly beside her, sipping his drink during the break.
"Why didn't you inform the staff of the truth? That we are in fact dating "He asks So Eun, staring into her eyes with his usual laconic expression.
"I don't want people to have a negative impression of us because we date while working together; this is our first drama, and I don't want to ruin it with something as insignificant as this. I'm afraid they'll treat us differently if they find out we're dating..." So Eun is attempting to justify her decision to keep their relationship private. After hearing her explanation, Hyuk Soo can only remain silent. He continues to drink while looking forward.
"I apologize, oppa... Do you think I offended you by saying that?" So Eun becomes concerned when she notices Hyuk Soo's silence. Hyuk Soo turned around and stared at her. Her puppy eyes make her look guilty. She is absolutely adorable. How could he be so upset with her?

"Do you mean that So Eun will be the main character in the upcoming drama? I'm going to film a drama with her?" That news has taken Hyuk Soo by surprise. As his manager stated, he is uninterested in who will collaborate with him in any drama. He is only concerned with the script and story plot. He has no idea that the actress who will be his partner is actually his ex-girlfriend, Han So Eun.

Hyuk Soo is actually looking forward to seeing So Eun again during the drama shoot because they will spend a lot of time together. But there is one thing that continues to bother him. The fact that So Eun already has a boyfriend and the actress who can easily accept the drama offer despite knowing she will be acting with him. Does he no longer have any special meaning in her life? Absolutely not? Is this why she can act with him without having any uneasy feelings toward him?
