Allocen walked closer to the window, her eyes scanning the frosted ground, a gentle breeze passed around them.
"The coast is clear now, we have to leave," she said turning back to her sisters.
She walked towards a couch, brought some clothes, and handed it over to Maria, "I know you aren't used to clothes like this but it's better you wear this, the journey is critical from here" she advised, her eyes piercing on Maria.
Aynaet scoffed, "Don't stress yourself over her she won't wear it," she said rolling her eyes.
Maria stared at Allocen who glared at her raising an eyebrow.
Surprisingly, Maria stretched forth collecting the clothes from Allocen, "Thank you" she managed to say walking out of her sister into a room to change.
"I wonder what changed her mind," Ammit said from behind as the remaining sisters chuckled in disbelief.
A few minutes later, Maria came out looking differently, she wore a black jumpsuit showing forth her slender body, her hair was packed in a ponytail and her blue eyes sparkled. Although it was obvious that the cloth made her uncomfortable, she realizes that she has to wear it, she remembered how she almost fell from the mountain and it was not a funny experience at all.
Allocen smiled when she saw her, she got closer to Ahazu smiling "She looks exactly as the prophecy described" she whispered chuckling.
Ammit came nearer to Maria as she glanced at her, "Sisters, it's time, we have to leave now" she ordered.
Ahazu picked up her black backpack, walked towards the door, and gently opened it, a mighty cold breeze blew into the house pouring white dust on them.
Ammit went behind a shelf, brought out a sword putting it beside her dress. She walked out of the house and the sisters followed behind.
Maria glanced at the cloth she was wearing, she can't wait to get this over, break the curse and return to her normal life, she was tired of all these prophecies and journeys.
The five sisters walked down a hill heading north.
Hours went by, the sisters walked past the snowy region and walked deep into the dry woods.
Maria stared at Allocen, her white hair glowed as white as ice even with the hot scorching sun which left her bewildered.
The four sisters walked in front and Maria behind. They squander deeper as wild birds made creepy noises.
Minutes passed, they got to a river, luckily for them, there was a bridge and quietly, they passed through it to the other side. Ammit looked at the map leading the way, she looked so serious as her eyebrow stretched in worry. Immediately, she gawked around, her eyes flickering behind the trees.
"I can sense it, someone is here," she said looking back to her sister.
Ahazu looked around, her green hair flowing fiercely, this is a sign that she felt danger also, "I can sense it too, not just a person but a group of people are here and with the look of things, they are not friendly at all" she announced loudly, her sisters taking cover.
Maria looked around in fear, wondering what was going on, she had no skills in fighting and not even something to protect herself. She glanced at Aynaet who suddenly looked serious, her eyes shone bringing a fierce sensation around them.
Suddenly, Maria felt a presence behind her, the hair at her back stood in fright as goosebumps filled her whole body.
"Maria!!, Look behind you!" Ahazu screamed.
With fear in her eyes, Maria turned behind to see a beast, with a green body but with the figure of a lion. Its face was as red as blood, sharp long teeth and claws which made Maria breathe seized in fear, never in her life had she seen a creature like this.
It looked at her with angry eyes, its teeth elongated out of his mouth as he gazed at Maria in outrage. Lifting his claws to tear her apart, Ammit ran swaying her sword cutting off its arm as blood sprung everywhere.
"Get behind me!" Ammit ordered Maria, her red eyes blazing like fire, "This isn't your fight!" She spoke loudly, her eyes fixed on the beast who roared in pain.
A loud noise erupts, looking back, the sisters saw four more beasts who joined them looking with rage as they glanced at their member who groaned in pain.
"We will take over from here!" Aynaet said bringing forth her sword. A beast ran towards her, his breath sounding like a roaring waterfall.
Quickly, Aynaet struck him with her sword as she pierces it deeply into its heart, the beast screamed in pain as it slowly turned into dust.
A beast ran towards Ahazu, she was not with a sword but she gazed at it with a smile on her face, the beast continued to run fiercely towards her.
Immediately, Ahazu stepped her foot heavily on the ground which shook violently, her green eyes blazing as the scorching sun. The ground opened, an earthquake overtook the ground the beast rode burying it deep into the ground.
Seeing the beast dead, Ahazu grinned turned her gaze away to her sisters.
One of the beasts, as tall as Allocen ran towards her to attack.
Closing her eyes, which she quickly opened, a bright light emitted from it, her eyes were so bright that it blinded the sight of the beast. Yelling in pain as it covered its eyes staggering towards Allocen. Allocen quickly made small daggers out of ice which she threw swiftly at the beast piercing deep into its heart. The beast roared in pain turning into dust just like his accomplice.
Ammit pushed Maria aside, "Stay here and be safe" she instructed nodding. Leaving Maria who stared at them in wonder, her expression filled with shock.
Ammit ran toward the beast, her eyes were as black as dark, thick black smoke emits from it going towards the beast. The beast saw it gasping in shock as it stared at Ammit with fright. Quickly, it ran away diving deep into the river.
Looking at the frightened beast, Ammit smiled turning her gaze towards Maria who sat at the edge of a cave looking at the 4 sisters' who fought with ease.
Allocen easily killed the last beast whose body evaporated into dust. The sisters breathed in relief and turned back to Maria who peered at them still in panic due to what she saw. They walked closer to her panting gently.
"Why do you have that look on your face?" Ahazu asked smirking.
Ammit walked closer to Maria, bringing forth her hand, she helped pull her up, "What you saw now is just a tip of the iceberg, now we need to get moving, we don't have much time" she declared taking a path and the sisters followed suit.
Maria walked behind them looking at them one after the other in surprise. "They have powers?" She asked herself in disbelief. Rubbing her face with her hand, she couldn't believe how things turned out like this, from one thing to another, now it's creepy powers which made her blood run with fire, things are getting worst than she expected.
Hours went by, finally, the sisters got to a large tower. The trees around it were dry and burned, not even a sign of a leaf. The ground surrounding it was dry filled with nothing but sand. The tower before them looked mighty but without any paint on it.
Ammit walked towards the big gate in front of the tower. To the surprise of Maria, the place was so calm without any sign of a human which was so creepy to her.
Closing her eyes, Ammit placed her hand on the door. Immediately, a sound was heard. Ammit stepped aside as they all watched the mighty gate open gradually by itself.
Looking back at her sister, Ammit motioned them to follow her. They walked in with their eyes all around the dark hall. The door closed back with a mighty noise which frightened Maria.
Taking another direction, they walked into a large hall that was so dark except for the glasses of fire that stood by each side. No noise was heard, the place was filled with nothing but the sounds of their feet.
"Long time sister, I didn't expect you guys so soon," A thick voice said behind a seat at the edge of the hall.
Gently, the mighty seat turned around revealing a beautiful lady with red hair seated on it. Her red hair shone with power from afar as she stared at her sisters with a smile on her face.
She stood up from her seat, her long royal gown adorned beautifully, she has a small crown on her head symbolizing royalty.
Getting closer to her sisters, her lips were as red as blood, powerful eyes that pierced deep into her sisters.
Ammit walked closer hugging her with a smile on her face, "It's nice meeting you again Aifey" she whispered as Maria stared at the new girl before her with widened eyes, her body filled with nothing but awe.
