The roaring sound of the ocean continued with full force. Aynaet stood up with her eyes fixed on the Demi-god who stood in front of her with blazing white eyes. His full body emerges from the ocean, with full power, he walked out of the water towards dry land, the ground began to shiver violently as his feet touched it. Slowly he looked at each sister one after the other as their eyes were stung on him in awe. Gradually his eyes rested on Aynaet as her blue hair shone radiating her powers. "Why did you summon me?" Poseidon asked, his voice echoed with sovereignty making the six sisters stare in terror, a great wave surrounding him. Aynaet glared at Poseidon with intense eyes, "We need your help, I and my sisters need to cross to the other side" she said hiding her tensed voice. Suddenly to their dismay, Poseidon began to laugh, the ocean whole in dismay as the clouds began to darken like a mighty thunderstorm was approaching. Poseidon stopped laughing as he stared at her with those enchanting white eyes of his. "Why do the daughters of darkness need my help for such a task?" He asked raising an eyebrow looking down on the sisters. His gaint figure was so magnificent that his breathing was heard by the sisters. Ammit came forward staring at him with no fear in her eyes, "We need to get to the other side as soon as possible, we don't have time" she remarked. Poseidon turned his gaze to Ammit, he tightened his fingers around his mighty trident which was as tall as he is. "I am a demigod!" Poseidon spoke loudly hardening his face making the ground below him shake without solace. "I, Poseidon, the mighty god of the sea don't have any business with the human world or with daughters related to the prince of hell, help yourself out and don't summon me again " he warned, his voice like a sharp sword piercing their heart. He turned his gaze back to the ocean as he began to walk towards it. "Wait!" Maria let out to the surprise of her sisters who looked at her. Poseidon slowly turned back to the voice which spoke. Maria walked forward gulping down with tense feeling as she fixed her eyes on the mighty figure which stood before them. Poseidon's eyes glared, he surveyed Maria closely not saying a word. Maria walked forward standing a few feet before him with her head raised at the gaint who brought goosebumps on her "I need your help, the human world is about to be crushed and left with nothing. I want to stop the prophecy from happening but I can't if you don't help us cross over, please..." She said tenderly, her eyes on him. Poseidon gazed at her with deep curiosity, "Are you not among them?" He asked narrowing his eyes as he stared at the tiny figure before him, "Why do you want to stop what is meant to happen from happening?" He asked again not allowing her to respond. Turning his gaze to Ammit and back at Maria, Poseidon nodded, "Very well, come with me" he let out to the surprise of the sisters. Gently, he placed his mighty hand on the ground in front of Maria, "Come in, and I will take you all across" he said to the sisters. Ammit walked forward stepping on his hand first, then one after the other, the sisters did the same. Carefully, Poseidon held them in his hand and gently walked over to the other side of the ocean. Each step he took on the ocean made it roar in awe as huge waves moved around gracefully. Finally, they got to the other side, Poseidon gently bent down placing his hand on the dry land as the sisters came down. He glanced at Maria and without saying a word, he departed slowly into the ocean as a terrible wave covered him. A few minutes later, the ocean became calm and the cloud returned to its normal form. Ammit stepped towards Maria, her eyes flaring in anger, "What is the meaning of what you said back there?" She asked with authority and a hardened face. Maria didn't say a word but stared at her which annoyed Ammit the more. "You think you can stop this prophecy little girl? Huh? tell me?! " she screeched in anger. Maria's eyes softened, "I said what was meant to be spoken" she let out turning her gaze away from Ammit and walking away. Ahazu came forward placing a hand on Ammit shoulder, "Relax sister, we all know that nothing can be done to stop this" she mumbled assuring Ammit who sauntered away from her going towards a path in the woods. "This way" she spoke out to her sisters who followed suit. Aynaet smirked, "Ammit sure looks terrible with that look of hers" she whispered to Aifey and they both chuckled. "I heard that" Ammit retorted not turning to look at them. The six sisters journeyed deeper, hours passed by and they got tired. "Let's rest here for the main time, we will continue later" Ammit said taking a seat at the foot of a tree. Maria took her seat beside Ahazu who sat near Allocen. Looking at her palms, Maria sighed deeply. The thought of Catherine came to her mind, Maria knows that she will be so worried and scared right now. She just wishes there is a way she could let her know that she is safe. Closing her eyes, she made a silent prayer hoping things go fine just like she planned. It won't be easy at all, she knows what she is about to encounter in the underworld but she hopes nothing horrible befall mankind. ****************************** Catherine sat at the edge of her bed looking out of the window. Slowly, she glanced at Maria's empty bed sighing. Her mind was occupied with thoughts as she wonders the whereabouts of Maria. It's 2 weeks now with no sign or word from her. Is she safe? lost? Or dead?..."No!" Catherine said aloud to herself shaking her head. Maria isn't dead, she could feel it deep within her. They were best friends since they were kids and they were blessed with the gift of knowing each other feelings but right now she couldn't tell how Maria felt and it scares her so much. But the one thing she is sure about is that Maria isn't dead, she could feel it so strong. Standing up with a rosary in her hands, she walked towards her window looking out. Memories of how they stood near this window talking about life and their love for Christ filled her. She could hear the laughter of Maria even in her absence. Catherine ambled towards her bed, she picked her veil covering her short blonde hair. Wearing her outer cloak, she stepped out of her room, locked it, and walked down the hall towards the convent kitchen. Getting in, she met Sister Ann seated with some loaves of bread in her hands. Hearing the footsteps, Ann looked up to see Catherine who gazed at her with a smile on her face. Catherine walked towards Ann giving her a warm hug, a tear slowly trickled down Catherine's face. Quickly she wiped it off releasing her grip. "My dear," Sister Ann said compassionately giving her a stool to sit on. Catherine sat beside Ann rubbing her hands, she looked up trying to fight the tears welling up in her eyes. Ann noticed it, gently, she held Catherine hands with soft eyes, "Dont worry child, I know Maria, she is a strong girl, she will come back" she assured her although her heart was filled with worries. Catherine gazed at Ann as sadness overwhelm her, "What if something bad has happened to her?, I know Maria so well, she can't be gone for so long if she isn't in danger" her eyes flickered around in fear, and immediately she looked at Ann, their eyes locking, "What if she is dead?" She blurted out in pain, hot tears streaming down her cheeks as she covered her mouth to stop her cries from coming out. Sister Ann hugged her, she strokes her back gently, her heart filled with sadness, "God will keep her save, we will keep on praying for her safety wherever she is" She ascertained Catherine but deep inside her, she hopes the worst hasn't happened.
