My dad found out about the wedding, just like I had feared. When I confronted Kelvin, he assured me he wasn't the one who told my dad about it. The only person left was Mira. I quickly placed a call to Mira. "Hey, bro. You seem to remember you had a sister somewhere"
I rolled my eyes. This wasn't the time to let her tease me or to tease her back. "Mira, did you tell dad about my wedding with Nora?"
She shrieked. "Wait, you are getting married to Nora? When?. How?. Why didn't you tell me about it" she bombarded me with so many questions and I groaned. I realized I haven't told her about the wedding. If Mira doesn't know about the wedding then who does? Arden?. Arden won't tell my dad. He hasn't visited Haiti for a long time, since his parents' death. I furrowed my brows. Who then knew about the wedding and also about dad? It has to be someone who knows I belong to the royal family. "LuCy, Lucian" Mira called, jolting me back to reality. I sighed.
"Yes, sis"
"Why didn't you tell me about your marriage with Nora?"
"Sorry, sis. I should have told you. I wanted to surprise you"
"And now dad knows about it?"
"Yes. Can you help me with something Mira"
"Sure. Anything for my big bro,"
I smiled. "Good. I want you to help me find who had told dad about the wedding"
She chuckled. "Sure I will". "So, when is the wedding?"
"There is no date yet. I will let you know when we pick a date"
"Why do I sense..."
"Mira, I will call you when I get back. Work calls"
"But..."
I cut the call and dropped my phone on the bed. I knew she wanted to know if the wedding is real or base on a contract. Mira is very smart. She is way smarter than her nineteen years old self. I smiled. Just some years ago, she was seventeen. I stood up from the bed and went to the kitchen to get a cup of freshly made pineapple juice. I bumped into Kelvin while going down. "I found out who told your dad"
I rolled my eyes. "Who?"
"You won't believe it"
I groaned. "Kelvin, don't put me in the dark. Who is it?"
He folded his arms. "Jasper"
My eyes switched. "Jasper?. Are you serious right now?". He nodded and I punched the wall angrily. Why didn't I suspect it would have been him? Aside from Kelvin and Arden, he was the only one who knew I am a prince. He happens to be my enemy too. Someone who had always wanted to see my downfall. I groaned. Nora!!. What if she knows I am a prince? Can Jasper tell her about it? She didn't and hasn't shown signs that she knew. I faced Kelvin. "Do you think Nora knows?"
Kelvin shrugged. "I can't say. But you know Jasper, he must have told her". I groaned. "I think you should call her. It will be nice if you tell her yourself. Even if she knows, she won't take it to heart"
I sighed. "I will do just that". I returned to my room and picked up my phone. I placed a call to Nora and she rejected my call. I kept calling her and it kept ringing but she refused to pick up. I was so angry, I wished I could see Jasper and punch the life out of him. I called for the umpteenth time. I decided to send her a text message. And then I called her again. When I heard her speak on the phone. My heart skipped. "Nora?"
"Y-yes?"
I sighed. "There is something I want to tell you"
"Ok?"
"I-i"
"Can you call me back, my mom is calling me"
I sighed. "Ok. But please do pick my call when I call you back"
"Sure"
The call ended and I dropped my phone. Why is she strangely answering me? Why is she avoiding my calls? She must have found out that I am a prince and is afraid of me. What if she cancels the wedding? I blinked. I can't imagine my life without her. My phone rang and I thought it was Nora. Without checking the caller's name, I picked it up. "Nora...". I heard Mira chuckle and I groaned. "Mira?"
"Do you miss her that much you now mistake my name for hers?"
I rolled my eyes. "Why did you call?"
"Well," she began. "I've found out who told dad. I have also learned about some new secrets"
"Tell me already"
"Jasper is the one who told dad"
I rolled my eyes. I know about that already. "And the secret?"
She chuckled. "Well, I..."
"Mira?!!"
She groaned. "You don't have to yell my name like that"
"Then tell me"
She sighed. "Jasper is in love with Nora"
I batted my lashes. "You said what?"
"I said, Jasper..."
"I heard you"
"That's the reason he told dad about your wedding. He wants dad to stop you from getting married to Nora". I blinked. He's in love with Nora. How?. When?. "Lucian you can't let Jasper take Nora away from you like he took Julia"
I rolled my eyes. "And what is dad decision?"
"I don't know yet. But you have to fight for your love. You can't let Jasper win again,"
I cut the call and dropped my phone. I punched the pillow beside me. I was so angry, I could feel shuddered with the wave of rage that swept over me. I groaned. Just when I thought I was going to find love again. Jasper is trying to take her away from me. I blinked. Is this not history repeating itself for the second time?!!.
