LUCY
After Jasper threatened to hurt Nora and the baby, I was worried he wasn't giving an empty threat. But dad assured me that Nora would be fine. He promised to bring her back safe and sound. But I was afraid. I knew right in front of me, that history was repeating itself. I was afraid, Jasper might force her into taking abortion pills, just like Julia. I was afraid she might lose our baby. I was afraid I might lose them both Just like I lost Julia.
Though Julia wasn't pregnant for me, I hated myself for watching her die. I hated the fact that she lied to me and had to die. I don't want that to happen to Nora. I can't imagine losing her as lost Julia. Mira also assured me that Nora and the baby would be fine.
Kelvin had to travel to Haiti to stay with me. He knew how worried I would be and was here to offer his help. He has been of help since he came. He spent time with me and sometimes joined dad. He also told me not to worry. Nora will be fine. I wished I could believe them but my mind wasn't at rest. I couldn't stop pacing around my room. It's been three days since Nora and her friend, Addy got kidnapped. But Addy got released yesterday. Jasper had finally come out to tell me he was the one who took Nora. He threatened to abort the pregnancy and take Nora away as he did with Julia.
I wondered how he found out about Nora's pregnancy. It was a secret between just the two of us. We had agreed to keep it away from the rest. Mira wasn't aware either. But now, everyone knew about it.

Jasper sent me a video showing Nora. She was forced to take some drugs. I wondered what kind of drugs she was given and was afraid it might be an abortion pill. Kelvin told me not to worry. Nora would be fine but when Jasper sent me a message telling me I will be losing my baby soon. He said he was good enough to give a drug that will only terminate the baby. He said he loves Nora and won't want her dead. He told me in a few days, everything will be over and he would get married to Nora.
Kelvin knew things were getting out of hand already. He tried to calm me down but I wasn't taking that. I tried calling his number but it was not available. I was so angry.
I shuddered with the wave of rage that swept over me. I gave a frustrated snarl. My nerves were jumping so badly it was a wonder I could stand still. I paced around the room. If Jasper has given Nora the abortion pills, then we need to act fast. I can't risk losing her and the baby. I hit the wall angrily. I can't lose Nora. I can't. I sat on the bed. I was nervous and angry at the same time.
Kelvin patted me. "She will be fine. Nora is a strong woman. She will be fine trust me"
Mira rushed into my room. "Lucian, dad asked me to call you"
I stood up from the bed. Kelvin stood up too. "Is anything wrong?"
"Nora's location has been detected. Dad is sending people over there" Mira answered. I sighed in relief. That's good news.
"That's a relief. I think we should go" Kelvin said
I nodded in agreement. "Let's go"
We went to meet my dad. "I sent some men already. You should go with Arden and Gideon. Kelvin will go with me"
I nodded. "Thanks, dad"
"Be safe and make sure you bring her back safe" dad said
I nodded. "I will"
Kelvin patted my shoulder. "Give him some beating for hurting our precious Nora"
I nodded. "Trust me"

We got to the hideout and strategize ourselves. We were ready to strike but Arden asked me to stay back. He was worried I might lose control. I understand he was doing this for my sake but I wasn't ready to stay back. I wanted to see Jasper and give him the beating of his life for hurting Nora.
I followed them in and luck on our side. We were able to lay hands, on Jasper. I wanted to beat him up but was more bothered about Nora. I looked around for Nora but she was not there. "Where is Nora?" I asked
He laughed. "Guess she's dead"
I frowned. "Answer me. Where is Nora"
"You heard me. She's dead. Just like Julia. I guess you lost again. You..."
I punched him so hard in the face. He spitted out blood. "You can beat me all you want but that won't bring Nora back nor Julia"
With a snarling fit for a threatened tiger, I lunged for him. I punched him so hard that he fell. I wanted to punch him for the second time but someone stopped me. "I found her"
I gave him a smoldering look and finally stood up. I rushed toward Nora. "Hey. Nora" I called
She opened her eyes and smiled wearily. "Y-you came"
I nodded. "I did. I came for you Nora"
"T-thanks f-for c-coming f-for u-us," she said and finally closed her eyes.
"Nora!!" I called. "Stay with me. You have to stay with me". I quickly checked her pulse and realized she had a pulse but it was getting weak. "Call 119" I yelled
I laid her down and rushed towards Jasper but the cops arrived right on time to save him. Kelvin held me. "Let them do their work, Lucy"
I watched Nora being taken away and I could only hope she survives.

Nora finally opened her eyes. I was happy to see her alive again. The doctor said the babies are fine and she would be fine too. Thank goodness we got to the hideout early enough to save her. I watched her and had been by her side while she was in a coma.
And when she finally opened her eyes, I was the first she saw. She called my name and I moved closer to her. "You're awake" I cooed
She smiled wearily. "It's good to see you," she said weakly
I smiled. "It's good to see you too. I thought I won't see you". I hugged her. "I've missed you". She smiled. " I will go call the doctor"
She nodded.
She stayed at the hospital for some days, during which Jasper faced the law. He was charged to court for the death of Julia and the attempted murder of Nora and our babies. Nora was finally discharged and we returned home. Some weeks later we got married and everything return to normal. We were safe from threats and has nothing to worry about. Our babies are growing so well and we hope to carry them in our arms soon.
