Elise looked at the duo who were sitting in front of her."is everything okay with you two?". although they were sitting in the place they looked distant from each other.she instantly guessed that they were having a fight.she wondered what it was about.
   Kelly looked at jordan who was sitting beside her before answering."yes.everything is okay?".  
    "Really?". elise turned to kelly for confirmation.kelly wanted to speak again but then jordan spoke up."nothing's wrong elise". 
   "Alright".elise nodded.she decided not to pursue the matter since jordan seemed irritated."so did you guys find anything useful?". 
  Kelly shaked her head then glanced at jordan as if saying it's jordan's fault, while jordan brought out a USB drive and handed it to elise.elise turned towards kelly for an explaination but then she saw that kelly was just as clueless as she was.
  She then looked at jordan but he avoided looking her instead he stood up and left the office. 
    Elise stared at jordan who walked away, then she turned to kelly."what's going on with jordan?.did you guys argue?". 
   Kelly sighed deeply before she started explaining everything that happened in the bar to elise.elise listened attentively to kelly as she spoke. "so that's what happened ". Kelly finished. 
    "I see".elise said."No wonder he acted like that". 
   "I have tried to apologize to him but he just won't let me speak at all". it was true kelly had tried some many times to talk to jordan but he wouldn't.he even refused to look at her,he made sure to avoid her.
    "if there's something I know about jordan, it's that I know he never acts on impulse". Elise said."he always has his reason.i am sure there's a good reason why he did that". 
 "I know". Kelly said."he gave me no explanation that why I got angry".
      "You know how jordan is.he values secrecy".elise said."he might be wary of where you guys were".
       "I know".kelly said.
   "Then why did you say those words?". Elise asked."I am not trying to make you feel bad kelly".she added as she stared at kelly.
    "I know ".Kelly said."I understand you elise".
    "You know how jordan is.he is sensitive and a bit emotional ". Elise said."he's probably not mad at the words you said but at you". 
  "I understand ". Kelly said."I just wish he would talk to me or at least let me apologize".she was feeling frustrated from the silent treatment jordan was giving her.
    "Don't worry". Elise said."I will talk to him". Kelly nodded at elise"thank you elise". 
   "It's nothing".elise said. 
   "I should probably get going".kelly said then she stood up.  
   "kelly".elise called making kelly to turn to face her"are you not going to check this with me?". She asked pointing to the USB drive. 
   "No".Kelly shakes her head."I don't want to get involved much.you know how I am right?".
   Elise nodded."of course".Kelly didn't want to get too involved in case they had to drop the case later on.
    "I don't want it to be hard for me later on".Kelly said."so you shouldn't get too obsessed either elise".
     "I won't".elise said."trust me kelly.i know".
   Kelly nodded and gave elise a small smile."I guess it's bye then".kelly said."see you later".she turned towards the door and walked away. 
    *Phone beeps*.
  Elise sighs as she reached for her phone.she checked the caller then at kelly who had already left.
   "Hey".elise said as she picked up the call.
     ~Is she gone?~
     "Yea".elise sighs."do you need something jordan?".
     ~ I just want to talk to you~
      "Alright".elise said."I have something to ask you too".she said and ended the call.just as she dropped her phone jordan came in.                         
     "What is it jordan?".elise said as soon as jordan sat down.
     "Ladies first". jordan said.
      "You were the one who called".Elise said."you should speak first".
     "It doesn't matter". jordan said."you can speak first ".
      "How did you get this drive?".elise asked.
      "I will be truthful". jordan said."after kelly and I separated,I met with my friend there so he asked me to join him.".
    "And?".elise said.
       "Honestly I don't really know how I get to have this drive."jordan said."I took a few drinks.so I can't remember the details clearly".
     "Just tell me what you remember ".elise said."anything will do".
       "All I know is that I went to the washroom then on my way back to the room someone ran into me". jordan said."later on I found that this drive was in my pocket".
     "Do you think the person who ran into you gave you this drive?".
       "I don't know ". jordan said.
    "Then why did you react that way with kelly?". elise asked causing jordan to look at her."Kelly told me everything ".
    "It's because I know the guy she was talking to". jordan said.
     "I am not going to ask anything further".elise said."I just want to know one thing though".
Jordan sat upright as he spoke."what is it elise?".elise knew jordan might feel like she's intruding but she needed to know."are you going to break up with Kelly?".
"What?!".to say jordan was surprised would be an understatement."what are you saying?".
elise didn't seem fazed as she stared straight at jordan."well".she questioned with a raised eyebrow."are you going to or not?".
"No!". Jordan said."I would never!.you know that so why are you asking me this?".
"okay then".elise said not giving jordan a response."what do you have to say to me?".
"huh". jordan stared at elise in disbelief at how fast she changed the subject.she didn't even give him an answer."I am not the type to break up easily if a fight came up.if kelly and I ever break up then you should know that it' would be kelly's request ". jordan felt the need to say this to elise.
Elise nodded glad to hear that from jordan."I understand".elise said."so spill it already.why are you here?".
Jordan wore a calm expression as he thought of why he was there in the first place."do me a favor elise".
