Chapter 52 War Triggered

*Third Person's P.O.V.*
Voughn stood by the window of his suite in his castle, siping a cup a glass of white wine. His preference of the white colored liquor over the red oe shows how much he despise the vampires and their practice of drinking the red metallic fluid, human blood. He has a slight smile on his otherwise, stoic face, however he looks more grim than pleasant. The door to the suite suddenly opened and closed with a loud bang and he briefly looked away from the peaceful stillness of Donegal, averting his attention to the feisty beauty of Teressa, his wife who had a scowl on her elegant face.
“I am very much disappointed with your infidelity Voughn! How could you do this to me? And oh my! It resulted on the bearing of the most powerful witch in the next generation. It’s supposed to be my daughter!” she whined for like the nth time since she knew of Vienna’s true value in the royal coven, that same night the king tactlessly proclaimed it.
“Hush now Essa. It was not my intention to be unfaithful to you. I was just driven with anger for what those boonies attempted to do to my sister, who I just discovered, is really not worthy of those privileges I had bestowed upon her.” Voughn calmly said. Despite knowing the rebellion Aurora participated on, the king didn’t seem that mad, looking in to his physical features at the moment, that is. However, such tranquility holds something creepy and his wife, being swallowed by her own rage couldn’t quite see it.
“Those boonies you say? Those boonies who, our children along with your illegitimate child, are working with against us at this very moment!” she spat out. The king set his wine glass down on his desk and sat on a sofa that’s in the room.
He sighed at his wife and beckoned for her to sit beside him, which she followed. “I already know that. And I’m already working on that.” he said, pulling a pot on a stand filled with water, that lingers all around the room for witchy purposes, in front of them, he spat on it, chanted a few chants and then a hologram appeared.
Teressa watched as the scene depicts a room in a house foreign to her. The furniture are not so plush and so she knows, whoever lives there doesn’t live with class the way she does. Her eyes fixed on the bed where she saw a sleeping teenage girl flanked by two men, one being Marcos, her eldest, the other, she doesn’t know and has no interest in finding out who. Looking closer, she saw that it wasn’t  just any ordinary girl, who’s laying there, it was Vienna. The one who stole the privilege of her daughters on being the mot powerful witch in their generation.
“What did you do to her?” she asked, delight evident at her voice for whatever the girl is suffering at the moment, base on theworried expression of the people around her. However, her next question holds irritation as she looked at her son on their enemy’s side. “And what is our children doing, working with them?”
“It’s simple, I stole her soul and trapped it in a place where no one can free her and made sure to keep it secure with me so that her powers won’t be used against us and she will be vulnerable therefore, it would be easy for us to capture her and use her for the value of her blood.” Voughn proudly explained. “As for our children, I believe it was some kind of prophecy that made Marcos dedicate his life to her and I have a feeling, only he wants to be on their side.” he added, answering her second question.
“I approve of what you did to her. And do not tell me, Marcos lured his siblings into doing this. He’s always been a stray!” Teressa commented, loking at the hologram once again, seeing Marcos leave the room.
“A stray more powerful than we initially thought.”
“Yes. If so, how do you suppose we can get Vienna, or whatever her name is in our hands? Even with her vulnerable, I’m sure Marcos and the others will very much defend her.”
“Oh, don’t worry, I didn’t steal her soul just to make her vulnerable, trust me, I did this to make all of them vulnerable. Marcos is smart so I know he’ll fall for my trap perfectly.”
The couple had a sinister smileon their faces as they shut off the witch hologram and leaned on each other, sharing a kiss of triumph for their plan at hand.
Meanwhile, the future king who’s now a rebel against his father gathered up everyone in the house with the exception of Gibson who volunteered on watching over Vienna to make sure nothing will happen to her soulless body. She’s not dead, she just can’t wake up because of the sorcery that was done to her.
“Fellas, my father has begun his hunt for our heads. And he did without us even sensing it. He put Vienna in a soulless state and I know he’s the only one who can do that.” murmurs scattered all round the living room as he announced that.
“Perhaps he wants to do something to my daughter.” Ariella said.
“He does, he wants to use her blood and powers a a weapon to be thrown against the vampires at their nearing war.” Marcos explained. “We have to plan this out, perhaps now would be the time to face my father, challenge his position at the same time keep Vienna out of his reach.”
“Hold up, if he holds her soul, wouldn’t it be a lot more dangerous to go againt him right now? What if he says something like, killing her if you hit her or something?” Divine voiced out and the future king fixed his eyes on her, remembering that faithful night in La Belle when he was less guarded andthis little vixen had tricked him into sleeping with her, but he shook that thought off as soon as it came.
“I know my father and I know he doesn’t hold her completely. If I ask him to have a duel with me, her soul will be the price we will fight for. I need people to come wit me though, for my shoes are not going to be welcome there in Donegal anymore. We need force to come in as well as the same amount f force to guard Vienna and remain here.” he wisely laid out.
“I will divide my people and I will come with you, Ariella’s going to stay here with her daughter along with half of my subs who I will point out later.” Noah offered which was agreed by his members.
“Diana and I will come with you, Divine will stay here.” Devon also said.
“I’m going to Doegal with you.” Dark voiced out. Vienna has done so much for him, he’s willing to give it all he’s got for her.
Marcos was amazed at the unity in front of him. He sees great leadership with both Noah and Devon, sound decisions from the both of them and raw passion from everyone despite their differences. This is the kind of unity he longs for, not just of one race or one blood, it’s more on one principle and stand. He looked at his siblings who he had compelled to be on his side and instructed them carefully.
“I will leave only Molly here and I will call on my aunt to be here along with her faithful followers, that way, we’ll have enough manpower to fight both forces if I’m right about their plan. I’m sure Gibson will stay here too.” Marcos said.
“That’s settled. We go as soon as possible right?” Diana inquired.
“Yes, at sundown, we are off to Donegal by my house in Killarney.”
Everyone prepared themselves for what’s to come knowing how big of an enemy they have. Noah carried on dividing his followers and Marcos as promised called Aurora who arrived through a portal along with her loyal men around noon.
“Can we really trust her?” Amelle asked, recalling the time they abducted her which led to Ariella being captured and raped.
“I know you suffered at my brother’s hand because of me before and I apologize for that. Right now, I wish for our differences to be forgotten, let us work toggether.” Aurora said. Amelle just nodded at that.
They all gathered in the living room as Gibson went down to get some water. He greeted all of them and thought to himself that this is Marcos’ plan in the act. He can’t help but notice the similarities in Vienna’s and her brother’s organization of plans. They sure have the same way in preparing for war, risky but planned out. As the hunter witch made it back to the room where Vienna layed still sleeping, he heard her phone ring. He looked at his sleeping mate and decided to check on the ringing phone. The caller I.D. says it’s Casper.
So she still keeps in touch with the people she worked with on the spice shop in London. He thought as he answered the call, maybe it would be better if he informs them of what happened to Vienna, they do care a lot for the girl.
*Hello Vienna
Casper’s velvety voice resounded as soon as Gibson answered the call.
“Hey Casper, It’s Gibson.” he answered.
*Hey man, I see that you and Vienna are doing good. Where’s she by the way? We’re already in Ireland’s airport.
“You’re in Ireland?”
*Yes, Vienna called us the other day, told us about what happened and we thought we could help pretty well if we come over. Didn’t she say a word to you.
“Not that she can at the moment or that she would’ve talked to me.” Gibson sighed. “But it’s good that you’re here, something bad happened to her and we’re about to go to war.”
*Woah hold up, that’s a lot of things going on. What happened to her?
“I think it’s better if you get to us first. I’ll ask Dark to fetch you where you are right now.”
With that they ended the call and Gibson made his way back downstairs. “Hey Dark.”
“Hey.” the young vampire said as he turned to his friend.
“Casper and his family are here in Ireland to help us, do you think you still have time to fetch them in the airport? You guys are going off at sundown right?” ibson asked, trusting that having someone they know o pick them up will do good for their allies.
“Sure, I’ll go right away.” Dark willingly answered.
“Thanks.” Gibson said, tapping his friend’s shoulder. The vampire immediately asked for a car key so that he can do what he’s asked to do.
“Where are you headed?” Mark, the hunter witch among the royal siblings inquired as he tossed Dark the keys.
“Gibson asked me to get our friends from London, they’re in the airport right now." He replied as they both wentout of the house, the mid afternoon sun that peeked from the canopy of leaves kissed their tanned skins and Dark has to avoid it as much as he can as it can irritate his vampire skin, as they made their way to where the cars are parked. Same cars they used to get here and all.
“I’m coming with you. We can use my portal techs to get there a lot faster.” Mark proclaimed as thy both sat in the car, with Dark on he driver seat.
“Good idea.” he agreed as he started the engine and they were on the bumpy forest path in no time. Before they reached the main road where people can spot them, Mark created a portal by waving his hand out the window and they jumped the car into it, getting sucked by it’s sideway whirlpool that in turn teleported them a few miles near the airport. The road was deserted so no one would have a heart attack upon seeing a car fly out of a portal. That won’t be too good of a sight for human eyes.
Within minutes, the two young men stood on the airport’s terminal, one searching, the other just chilling. Dark spotted the trio that he was looking for and beckoned his companion to follow him to where he saw their reason for being here, Cathy, Cassy, and Casper.
“Hey.”
