CHAPTER 1
Layra's P.O.V.
"Whore! A slut like you could never get a mate like mine,and throwing yourself at him won't change that!", an unfamiliar female wolf yelled because I had glanced at her late who I had caught discretely watching me.
I ignore her because I knew exactly what her problem was.
She was simply jealous of my aesthetics despite the rags that they made servants wear.
My name is Layra Crest and I will be a legal adult in a few days time,which was something I could not wait for.
I was an unranked wolf, living as a servant in the Crimson moon Pack, which was hands down a pack of the most terrible people.
The Alpha, Sylvester Stone and his Luna,Jennifer Stone were the absolute worst and they had murdered my entire family and pack, the Silver howl Pack.
Alpha Sylvester had been jealous of my father and had taken any opportunity to attack till he was eventually successful.
I was ten and had been the only survivor,they had thought I was an ordinary wolf from the pack and brought me along after their massacre while I had hidden the fact that Alpha Matthew Crest was my father and I was actually an Alpha.
Like the child that I was, I had foolishly thought that I was safe with them but that had not been the case.
They had brought me as a spoil of war and had put me to serve their pack as nothing more than a gruelling maid.
During the eight years that had passed, I had worked and gotten nothing in return but pain and hurt.
I had to watch the people who had destroyed my family and my pack love like nothing had happened.
I did not sleep in any of the pack house but rather in a stall that was abandoned,it was small and always cold regardless of how much patched blankets I tried to sew.
"You cheap whore!Stay the hell away from my mate!", The female -wolf , whose presence I had totally forgotten began to yell again.
She raised her hands in an effort to hot me and I immediately grabbed her hand and scoffed,how dare she?
I give her a once over before hissing softly into her ears.
"Don't you dare consider laying a finger on me".
I was not allowed to talk back but who gave a fuck and if I was lucky to get caught, I would get punished by being sent somewhere I didn't have to see their faces.
"Layra!".
I look back and directly at Alpha Stone, forgetting to bow my head because I of course did not respect him and since I wasn't a member of his pack and I was an Alpha myself,his submission stare would not work on me.
"How dare you?!", Alpha Stone yelled.
"GET OUT OF MY SIGHT!! NO DINNER FOR YOU!" he commanded using his Alpha tone.
I cringed at his voice and walked away before I had to listen to more.
"Honeyyy, we should never have kept her , we could have just left her to the rogues!",Luna Jennifer whines in a bitchy voice that makes Layra turn back around.
"You are welcome to do that if you can survive on your own with cooking and cleaning,just for tonight".
"You fuckin retarded dog!".She ran forward and began to hit me but It was something I was used to.
"Is that all?"
I turn back around and head to the basement, where I can have a little rest till it is time for dinner.
I had never thought to run away because the fate of lone wolves was usually quite disparaging.
That was why a whole lot of things were dependent on my eighteenth birthday when I could turn and also find my mate.
I had begged the moon Goddess all my life for a mate that would stand by my side and support me.
The Crimson moon pack would also not be able able to hold me down as soon as I got a mate because then,their power over me would even be weaker and this was my hope to get out of this hellhole .
{Kade's P.O.V.}
"OMG! Kade! Yes,right there!".
Kade Stone cringed as soon as the nameless stranger he was fucking in his dad's office called his name.
He had not asked for her name and told her not to ask for his and she had still disobeyed him, ruining what little fun he had been trying to have while thinking of Laura,their slave.
Ever since his birthday a few days ago,he had realized that she was his late and had been restless since.
As soon as he had discovered,he had decided to reject her as soon as she also discovered saving himself any embarrassment from being paired with such a lowly person,the only problem was Aerys his wolf who didn't think that there was anything wrong with Layra.
Aerys stubbornness had left him no choice than to also notice Layra's beauty which had left him spellbound.
Her long,shiny black waves, those green eyes that seemed to always be thinking of rolling around in the grass,her full sensuous lips and her voluminous body despite all the hardship she was going through were keeping me awake all day and night and the only reason he could ever reach an orgasm.
"Argh!"I groaned as my orgasm reached because I had been thinking too intensely about her.
I immediately pulled out and came on her stomach and chest,while the Omega was left disgruntled because she wasn't satisfied.
I heard her cursing under her breath as I chased her out of the office because she had not been able to orgasm.
Meanwhile,all he could think about was Layra's birthday and how he would disgrace her by rejecting her in front of the whole pack.
[Don't you fuckin dare go through with that plan!].
Aerys threatened from my head and I rolled my eyes. How could I have such a weak mate?
I was sure that it was just a simple mistake and the moon Goddess would correct it as soon as she found out.
[Do you really think you will get a chance ah a second mate?That's almost impossible!].
I dress up while ignoring Aerys words even though I know that he is right but I really don't want to think about that now and the Stench from the Omega was filling up my nose,I needed to get rid of her smell so I called for Laura to get up here and clean the office.
She arrives a few minutes later wearing an old t-shirt that is too big for her ,She had tied the ends in a knot so it looked better.
She had paired it with the one pair of skinny jeans that she wore all the time and put her hair into a high ponytail that showed just how lean and graceful her shoulders and neck was.
I knew that it was definitely Aerys that had made me immensely attracted to her because there was no actual way I was attracted to someone this low.
Her presence as she is so close to me is driving me crazy so I yell at her to hurry and she only continues with her work,not regarding me in the least.
