CHAPTER 16
Ryan's POV
I was actually shocked to see Kade flying off like that it was true Layra was really having alpha blood in her I was really looking forward wanted to teaching that piece of trash a lesson but then Layra stopped me saying she'd handle it herself I felt proud having someone like her in my life someone who isn't scared to stand up for themselves I'm actually glad the attitude of these cowards whom she has lived with for so long have no effect on her
"Kade Stone Alpha of the Crimson Moon Pack, you rejected me, Layra Caesar and I have accepted your rejection. So starting from that moment your little mate bond and mine shattered, so you have no claim to me no bonds no authority whatsoever over me you fucking piece of trash. In case you may have forgotten, you freaking rejected me first which I fucking accepted gladly , and if you have forgotten the exact words since you are that stupid. I will freaking repeat it for your hearing again,
"I,Layra, daughter of both the late Alpha Matthew and Alpha Charlie, mrs Ceaser Ceaser of the Silver howl Pack, hereby accept your rejection with all sincerity against Alpha Kade Stone.
There you have it, the second and final rejection, you can rot in hell for all I care.
"Let's get out of here, I can't stand these useless people anymore and so help me if any of those crazy bitches in the Stone's household stand in my way, today, I may have their blood on my hands which I have always wanted.
She said and these words made my heart glad spoken like a true Gray wolf I said smiling but then I heard someone gasp behind us it was luna Jennifer and that stupid daughter of hers darla.
"Oh my God Kade" she called out rushing towards him "are you okay son?" She asked to touch him
"I'm fine mom" Kade managed to say maybe so he wouldn't embarrass himself any further or something. I held Layra's hands and then ready to leave but that trash of a woman blocked our way
"You bitch how dare you lay your filthy hands on my son he is your alpha for heaven's sake" luna Jennifer said but again before I could say a word Layra already answered her
"My Alpha? Point of correction luna Jennifer, Kade is not my Alpha, never was and never will be. And oh in case you've forgotten you have no right whatsoever to call me a bitch and that son of yours is nothing more than a log of wood" Layra said
"How dare you..." luna Jennifer was about to slap Layra but I was also surprised at what came to her next a slap landed on her face first
"Point of correction again luna Jennifer I'm no longer the little girl you used to punish and make sleep in a closet or the one you used to starve I am the daughter of the late Alpha Matthew and I will no longer be treated as such" luna Jennifer was dumbfounded at the revelation
'She's the daughter of the Caesars no wonder she looked a lot like mrs Ceaser at first I thought I was just hallucinating about the resemblance but now I'm sure it's her' luna Jennifer thought
"What's with the face surprised or have you seen a ghost I'll make sure you all pay for murdering my parents and subjecting me to a life of slavery" Layra said in anger I could feel the anger brewing in her and I held her hand tightly she then turned to look at me and smiled. I was actually glad about the way she took charge of the situation and gave that useless woman a piece of her mind
Darla's POV
I saw my brother fall to the ground he was pushed by that low life Layra and then she started blurting out some things to him until my mom ran to him and then confronted her
"You bitch how dare you lay your filthy hands on my son, his alpha for heaven's sake"

But that bitch really had some nerve slapping my mother and what's worst she called my mother by her name what right does that little bitch have to hurt my mother but of course Ryan is giving her the backup to do whatever she wants and so she's the daughter of those low lives whom we killed eight years ago seeing they were both about to leave I called out
"Ryan" he turned to look at me I was a bit relieved he did I thought he was going to ignore me like he always did
"What do you want darla" he said with a stern voice I felt some chills but then I summoned the courage to say
"Ryan what do you think you are doing with her this low life we've known each other for so long we've been friends for so long how can you chose her over me she's nothing more than a Savage and she's from some low life pack a pack which was eliminated by an esteem pack like ours..."
"One more word from you about my dead parents or my pack and I will snap you like a twig. Low life? ha you are the ones who embraced savagery darla and I promise you this will not go unchallenged" Layra said her eyes almost red she was just about to change into her wolf self and attack darla
"I was never your friend darla keep that In mind and ah I've known Layra since she was born she was a better friend than you could ever be, even though she was young then she was far more mature than you ever were'' I felt like a sword was driven right through my heart Ryan dared compare me to this little bitch how could he? I saw Kade getting on his feet. He has been on the floor ever since Layra's blow. It must have done a number on him and then my dad came into the scene
"So the whole family is complete" Ryan said mockingly
"Alpha Ryan I'm so sorry about everything that's happened please can you reconsider and sign the treaty" my father said and then I recalled why I wasn't able to put Layra in her place earlier due to the interruption from Ryan so he didn't sign the peace treaty does that mean there might be war I mean other packs might attack us now since we no longer have the Saddler's backings most of them have stayed away due to that fact especially those we've cheated in business and our way of life. Does that mean I'll no longer see my handsome Ryan? is he leaving for good I can't let this happen I have to do something
"Actually Sylvester I never came all this way to sign some treaty even though Layra wasn't here I had plans of getting my revenge on you for murdering her parents I especially would have challenged you for killing them years ago but due to some stupid treaty I wasn't able to so now give me one good reason why I would renew that treaty with savages like yourself and that useless son of yours" Ryan said in irritation.
Layra's POV
Ryan and I were about to leave until darla called him
"Ryan" she called and Ryan halted for some reason
"What do you want darla" he asked
"Ryan what do you think you are doing with her this low life we've known each other for so long we've been friends for so long how can you chose her over me she's nothing more than a Savage and she's from some low life pack a pack which was eliminated by an esteem pack like ours..." I was so angry about the way she talked about my dead parents i actually felt hurt and I just couldn't hold myself back so I said
"One more word from you about my dead parents or my pack and I will snap you like a twig. Low life? ha well you were the ones who embraced savagery darla, and I promise you this will not go unchallenged" Ryan could feel my anger and then he held me tightly to soothe me I felt warm under his touch and for some reason my wolf calmed
"I was never your friend darla keep that In mind and for your information I've known Layra since she was born. She was a better friend than you could ever be, even though she was young then she was far more mature than you ever were '' Ryan said, so this revelation was new. He knew me since I was born does that mean he was that charming Prince I knew when I was young I would surely ask him when we are on our way home or when we get home but then Sylvester came to the scene
"Alpha Ryan I'm so sorry about everything that's happened please can you reconsider and sign the treaty" the lunatic of a man said I was actually surprised Ryan didn't sign the treaty did he do it for me I would have to ask him later but his words said it all
"Actually Sylvester, I never came all this way to sign some treaty. Even if Layra wasn't here, I had plans of getting my revenge on you for murdering her parents. I especially would have challenged you for killing them years ago, but due to some stupid treaty I wasn't able to. I could feel the irritation from him, now I'm sure he is my prince charming the boy I liked when I was a kid I smiled at this realization
"I'm not useless Ryan I'm an Alpha like you are" Kade said
"Oh an alpha that's funny someone who isn't even able to defend himself calls himself an alpha" Ryan said
"I'm an Alpha, Ryan you have no right to say I'm not. Layra doesn't belong with you, she belongs with me. I love her and she's mine. I would make her mine"
"Shut the fuck up Kade I've had enough of you, you want to make me yours? Even if I was hypnotized I wouldn't for a second love you" I said angrily the nerve he has, saying I was his.
"Ryan let's go I can't bear to stay in this godforsaken place any longer" I said and then Ryan held my hands and we both left their sight hand in hand
