August 21, Sunday / Comeback Preparation / Jeju Starlight World Park
After a long ride from their company building to the place where they will shoot their First concept photo, they hopped out of their van and immediately went inside the back door of the place since there were people in their surroundings.
They went to the spot where they rented it, especially for the photoshoot. The staff was busy preparing the set while the members were already on their clothes and the makeup team was adding finishing touches to the members' makeup.
"This costume is fantastic. Personalized astronaut uniform with our logo?" Minsu said looking at each of the member's costumes. The uniform has a touch of school with a little bit of an astronaut feel to it with their logo on the left patch and their name on the right side. Rumor has it that Luminous Music invested a lot of money just to get that specific costume.
"I'm sure this is our first personalized costume? I bet they invest a lot for this." Hyun-Jung said. After an hour and a half, they started with the concept photo when they received the signal. They did group shots first which they find it pressuring at first since it was their first photoshoot for their first comeback. Everything was first. As they do solo shots, they did some poses and even with props just like their photography team wanted them to do. The photo went so well with the lighting and their costume. Even the members were satisfied once they looked at the photos.
"Hey, Iseul! You look great in that photo! I love the pose!" Ji-Hun said as his voice was healing slowly and his words are now hearable.
"That pose was just pure luck," Iseul said, exposing himself as he laughed.
August 22, Monday / Comeback Preparation / Luminous Music Studio
"Where are we?" Iseul said, looking at his surroundings as soon as the members hopped out of the car. The place was oddly new to them. It was odd since there was a logo of their company on the door.
"Did we just get kidnapped? I'm sure we've never been here before." Ji-Hun said softly.
"We're in Luminous Music's own Studio."
"Own studio?" All of the members were confused once they heard about their manager.
"Yesterday, Personalized uniform. Now, Owned a studio. I'm starting to get curious about where our CEO gets all this money despite we had a shortage of money on our debut song." Hyun-Jung whispered to Iseul as all the members went inside some kind of warehouse where the studio is located. After they went inside, they saw that the set was already there, and the staff were setting things up.
"That's a big book," Minsu said, looking at the set.
"Did they do this? Like constructed it? That's amazing." Ji-Hun said as he was amazed by what was happening at the moment. But Hyun-Jung was still curious about where the money came from with all of this. They were escorted to the makeup and costume team as they get M41 ready for the photoshoot. It was longer than they expect since they have to wait for the set to finish before they finally get to the photo shoot. Once they started with it, They went with a group photo first, happily and even laughing as they strike a pose. They also went with solo shots after.
August 22, Monday / After Schedule / Dorm
"Aren't you all curious as to where the money come from with all of this personalized stuff our company was putting for our comeback?" Hyun-Jung said. Even the members knew that Hyun-Jung is repeating that idea ever since they shoot the second photo they shoot.
"Maybe from our album sales on our debut? Or maybe we had a lot of investors. We never know." Iseul said as soon as he unlocked their dorm door. All the members went inside their dorm and does all their stuff.
"Even our CEO itself said that we had no money..." Hyun-Jung said before going to the bedroom.
August 23, Tuesday / Comeback Preparation / Luminous Music Studio
"We're back!" Ji-Hun said as soon as they hopped out of the van. He was excited to see what costumes they gonna wear next.
"I just noticed, if last time we wore astronaut, which is for our title track "Our Universe" and yesterday the set with a giant book for our song "Love Story" it means that we'll be shooting for our song "Mind Control"?" Minsu said, speculating his theory to all the members while they were walking towards the entrance of the studio.
"Oh yeah... Maybe we'll get to wear something sexy or badass? Since Mind Control is a different concept from the other songs we had." Hyun-Jung agreed to Minsu's idea and even gave a hint about what to wear for the specific photo shoot they'll be doing.
"I kinda don't want to do this if they'll let me wear something revealing..." Minsu said, as soon as they went inside the studio, they saw the set was filled with a dark background and neon lights to add a vibe to the set.
"Oh wow. This is the first time I'll be seeing a set like this for M41." Ji-Hun said that he was excited to do this concept photo. As for Minsu, he was not liking it by the looks of it. The staff, as usual, escorted them to the spot where they will prepare their costumes and makeup. After that, they started wearing the costumes and once Minsu saw his costume, he was not happy by it. It was what he expected it to be. black outfit with a revealing side on the chest.
"Oh... Are there other costumes for me to wear?" Minsu said, grabbing the costume that the staff got for him.
"I'm sorry but that was the only costume for you. You don't like it?" The staff said as it got all the member's attention.
"Oh... That's fine." Minsu said, looking at the outfit that the staff got for him one last time.
"I bought black shirt here, Minsu. Maybe you can wear that first to cover your chest if you find it uncomfortable." Iseul said, placing his bag down the chair before looking for the black shirt he bought.
"Are you sure I can use this? I promise I'll wash this as soon as we got back to our dor-"
"No need, Minsu. It's fine. As long as you're comfortable with what you're wearing." Iseul said while smiling. The members went to the dressing room to change their clothes and after they got out, they looked at each other, and technically, Ji-Hun had the most revealing spots on his costume.
"Ji-Hun, you're technically naked by now," Hyun-Jung said, cracking a laugh.
"We can almost see everything" Iseul added.
"You can't blame the company for letting me use this costume. I wonder why they wanted me to wear this." Ji-Hun explained, looking at his costume and questioning himself about how revealing it is.
"Do you like my costume?" Ji-Hun said after he ran towards Minsu who was looking at every bit of Ji-Hun's costume.
"Hmmm... No." Minsu said before chuckling as they went back to the staff who will fix their makeup. They did their photoshoots once they were ready with everything. They did their pose a little bit sexy except for Minsu who did his best to at least try his pose to look sexy but he was too cute for him to do a pose like this so he did a casual pose.
August 24, Wednesday / Comeback Preparation / Luminous Music Studio
"We had 3 Photoshoots and we will have another one?" Hyun-Jung said after they went inside the studio, seeing only white background on the set.
"Hyun-Jung is being grumbly these days. Are you having a mood change or something? Are you hangry?" Ji-Hun said.
"I forgot that Ji-Hun's like that after he got his soar throat. Please lord of soar throat give the sickness back to him." Hyun-Jung said, praying to some "Soar Throat God" for request. After that, they went to the makeup and costume staff for the preparation of the photoshoot they'll be doing. This time, their costume was only a shirt with their logo on it.
"A simple one, this time. This is good." Minsu said, looking at the logo on the shirt.
"Our logo looks simple yet beautiful." Iseul said, looking at the shirt once again before putting it on. Once they were all set with the clothes and makeup, they went to the white background set and does poses once the photography calls signal. While they were striking some pose, an unexpected happen and suddenly the big lighting the staff set created a loud explosion and was about to fall on Hyun-Jung's side. Hyun-Jung was unprepared but the members beside him quickly ran away. Except for Iseul who ran towards Hyun-Jung and pushed him away and quickly tried to take a grip on the pole of the lighting.
"SOMEBODY HELP ME LIFT THIS!" Iseul said while all the staff were running before they helped Iseul to lift the pole. Hyun-Jung was still shocked as he was just on the floor, looking at all that was happening. Even Ji-Hun ran towards their leader to help him out. The bulb inside the lighting equipment was starting to spark, and it was dangerous since Iseul was close to it.
"TURN THIS OFF!" Iseul said, trying his best to lift it away from him before Minsu ran as fast as he can to the outlet before he pulled the adapter, turning off all the lighting equipment. The staff carefully put down the equipment with the help of Ji-Hun and Iseul. Every staff freaked out, running from here to there, checking on what happened and what seems to be the problem. The members were escorted to a room and told them to not leave without further reasons.
"Are you all okay?" Iseul said, checking everyone.
"We're okay, but are you okay? You too Ji-Hun. Are you two okay? That thing must be heavy." Minsu said as he was worried about the members. The two nodded as response but they seem to be more worried about Hyun-Jung who didn't even spoke or blinked after that happened.
August 25, Thursday / Comeback Preparation / Luminous Music Lobby
"I called this meeting because I just got a news from our staff that there has been an accident happened on the set. We are glad that you guys are okay!" The assistant CEO said, getting straight to the point as to what the meaning is all about.
"I got curious to where is our CEO lately? I never seen him like everyday." Hyun-Jung said, switching the topic.
"Our CEO? Well... uhhh... He's fine... You needn't worry." The assistant CEO said as he stood up from his seat.
"Back to our topic, Ji-Hun will be adviced to come with me regarding with the recording of your parts in M41's comeback, Other members were advised to stay at the dance practice area until further notice." Their assistant of the CEO commanded before all of the members started to moved. As Ji-Hun followed their manager outside and went in the van, Minsu, Hyun-Jung, and Iseul went inside the Dance Practice Area as Iseul turned on the air conditioner s soon as he got in.
"We forgot to ask you yesterday since you're frozen yesterday. Are you okay?" Minsu said to Hyun-Jung as he sat down on the floor. The other member did so as they formed a tiny circle.
"Yeah. I'm okay. Sorry if you guys got worried. My mind was thinking a lot of things and I just froze there, not knowing what to do." Hyun-Jung said, explaining what really happened to him yesterday.
"Yeah, speaking of, you seems to be curious to where our money come from with all of the expensive stuff our company brought just for this comeback. I'm starting to get curious too. We even don't get to see our CEO anymore these days." Iseul said, kinda getting Hyun-Jung's curiosity.
"That's what I was thinking earlier. Wherever he gets all the money, whether, from investors or his money, I'm sure it's for good." Hyun-Jung said.
August 26, Friday / Comeback Preparation / Van
"When I came into our dorm, ya'll are sleeping already!" Ji-Hun said while the driver of the van was driving towards the Studio once again.
"Oh yeah, We were tired from doing... nothing," Hyun-Jung said, laughing as soon as he recalled what happened yesterday.
"We played hide and seek in the 4 walls in an open-spaced dance practice area," Minsu said while laughing as well.
"For real though, We just had a little chit-chat there. Nothing special. What about you? What happened during the recording of your parts?" Iseul said, changing the topic.
"Well, it was weird since you guys were not there and I felt lonely. If Producer Prince were there instead of our producer, I'll most likely burn the place down." Ji-Hun said before the members chuckled.
"Have mercy on Producer Prince. If he knew we talk shit about him, We don't have a recording studio to record our songs next time" Minsu said before they kept on talking. Once they were in the studio, The set was filled with space stuff. They went to the makeup and costume team for them to get ready and once they were ready and all set, they started doing the solo shots, posing and striking for the camera. Luckily, there were no technical difficulties like what happened last time. They were a little scared at first, but they put their trust in the technical team and all of the staff.
August 28, Sunday / Comeback Preparation / Luminous Music Studio
As usual, they were still shooting for the jacket photo as the photography team suggested. Even yesterday, they did a photoshoot but duo shots. It was lunchtime at this time, The members went to the spot they occupied earlier before the staff gave them decent meals to eat with. It was not a lot but it was okay for them. At least it was not a sweet potato or eggs.
"This corndog is just too delicious. Where did they get this, I wonder?" Hyun-Jung said before taking a bite of the corndog.
"Last time, you ask to where the money on the company came from. Now, you're asking where the corndog came from." Ji-Hun said.
"Blah blah. Yeah right." Hyun-Jung said, imitating Ji-Hun as he munch the food he was eating.
"I heard that the CEO of this company works 3 jobs every week. Did you see him in his office these days?" One staff behind the members said softly but it was loud enough for the members to hear it.
"I don't see him these days. Even when they announce a meeting with M41 regarding to what happened, the accident that happened last time? I didn't see him. Usually, he's there to observe the meeting but not this time." The other staff said.
"What job does he take? I bet it's a little bit big despite he even bought this place just for M41's comeback" The other staff added.
"I asked the other staff yesterday and he said he heard somewhere that the CEO applied to a company and he had 2 part-time jobs as extra income..." The staff said before their voice fades as they walk away from M41's spot.
"Our CEO had 3 jobs?" Iseul said, kinda feeling sorry for their CEO.
