I don't want to see you sad

"Here," He said to her when she took a glass from him. She drank her wine and looked at him confused.
"What's that for?" She asked him again with her voice. He looked down at the wine in his hand.
"Well... I thought we could celebrate with some wine," He answered her with his deep voice.
"You said that we were going to celebrate earlier," She said again with confused voice. He nodded as he realized that he said that.
"I did, but then you weren't feeling good," He said to her weakly. She nodded and took another sip of her wine.
"I am not really sure that I want to drink this," She said as she put the glass away.
"Well... why is that?" He asked her again with confused voice as he looked at her.
"Well... my mother told me that I shouldn't drink wine," She said again. He looked confused at her words.
"What?" He said again, but this time louder. She nodded as she looked up at his confused eyes.
"My mother told me," She said again as she drank from the glass.
"Who is your mother?" He asked her weakly. He knew who her mother was, but he wanted to hear it from her.
"My mother is..." She stopped speaking when she started coughing.
"What's wrong now?" He asked her as he put his wine glass away and came towards her. She tried to speak, but she couldn't.
"I feel sick," She said weakly again. He took her hand and pulled her up from bed. He helped her to the bathroom and held her hair back as she threw up.
He felt anger coming inside of him as he saw her getting sick. Who was doing this to her? He thought to himself. Then he decided that he would take care of her now. He didn't care about anything else.
"Celine, we need to get you to the hospital now," He said to her after he helped her out of the bathroom.
"No... I don't want to," She said to him with weak voice again.
"We need to," He said firmly again.
"But... why?" She said to him again, but this time with scared voice. He looked at her as she said the words. He felt angry again when he looked into her scared eyes. What was she scared of? Was it him?
"Because... I think someone poisoned you," He said to her honestly. She looked scared at his words and then she spoke again.
"I don't feel good. Please take me home," She whispered to him. He sighed a moment later as he held her.
"Okay," He said weakly again.
"No hospital," She said with firm voice. He sighed again and nodded at her.
"No, no hospital," He promised her. She nodded and he carried her out of the room and downstairs. He sat her in his car and then drove towards the city. He needed to get her to someone who could help her.
He drove as fast as he could towards the city, but he couldn't stop thinking about his words to her. What would he do if something happened to her? He wouldn't let that happen.
He stopped the car when he saw a sign for a hospital and got out of the car. He carried her inside and then called for the doctor. They took her away from him and he was left sitting alone in his car again.
He sat in the car and waited for the doctor to come and tell him how she was doing. He waited and waited, but after some time, he finally came out again.
He had been waiting for what felt like an eternity.
"She is going to be okay," The doctor said to him before he left again. Armand sighed as he heard his words. He could let out a breath now that he knew she was going to be okay.
"Thank you," He said to the doctor before he came over to her room again. He opened the door and saw that she was sleeping in bed.
"You're awake," He heard her say weakly when he came inside. He walked over to her bed and sat down.
"What are you saying?" He asked her confused again.
"You came to get me," She said weakly with a smile.
"Yes... I did," He nodded at her as he saw that she was smiling at him. She was smiling again and it made him feel good again.
"Thank you for coming to get me," She thanked him weakly again.
"I would always do that for you," He promised her honestly. Then he saw that she looked sad. He didn't understand why, but he knew that he hated seeing her sad.
"Why do you look so sad?" He asked her. She shook her head at him again and then looked away from him.
"I just wish that I could go home," She said slowly as she looked at the wall.
"This is your home now," He told her again with firm voice, but she didn't look at him. She shook her head and then he saw that her eyes were filling with tears.
He felt angry again at what he saw. He didn't like seeing her sad or crying. He hated it. He wanted to make her happy again and he knew just how.
"No... it's not," She said softly again.
"What are you talking about? This is your home now. You're my wife now," He reminded her. She looked up at him with tears in her eyes again.
"Yes... but..." She said again, but then she stopped speaking. He looked confused again at her words. What was she going to say?
"Are you talking about your home before?" He asked her weakly as he remembered what happened. The wild fire that burned down the whole city and her father died in it. She nodded at him slowly.
"Yes," She said softly. He shook his head at her again.
