"What are you doing here?" She asked him as she saw that he was in a black suit.
"I am going to be your husband," He told her with a smirk. She rolled her eyes at him and looked away. She heard footsteps again and saw the man coming back with a woman.
The woman was standing next to him and looked like she was going to be their priest. Armand walked away from her and took the man aside.
"Is it all ready?" He asked the man. The man nodded.
"Yes," He answered him. Armand smiled as he looked back at her. He then walked back over to her and took her hand into his hands.
"Let's do this," He said to her firmly as he started pulling her towards his office. She followed him inside of his office and then saw the woman who was going to marry them. Armand let go of her hand and stood next to the woman.
"You can start," He told the woman with a smile on his face. The woman nodded and started talking.
"Do you, Celine Gillies, take Armand Xavier to be your husband to have and hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love, cherish, submit to him, obey him, and honor him as your husband, forsaking all others until death do you part?"
The woman finished saying the words and then looked at her. Celine looked back at Armand and then back at the woman.
"Yes... I do," She said after a few moments of silence. The woman nodded at her and then looked at him.
"And do you, Armand Xavier, take Celine Gillies to be your wife to have and hold from this day forwards, for better or for worse and for richer, for poorer in sickness and in health to love cherish honor obey and protect her forsaking all others until the day you die?"
The woman asked him the same question that she asked her and then he answered her.
"Yes... I will," He said after a few minutes of silence. The woman looked at both of them and then continued talking.
"By the power vested in me and according to the laws of California, I hereby pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride," The woman finished talking and then
Armand turned towards her.
He saw that she was looking at him with scared eyes and then he pulled her towards him.
He kissed her soft lips again and felt how his body started to react again to her. He wanted more from her and his kisses on her mouth told her that.
He pulled away from her when the woman spoke again.
"Well, congratulations," The woman said to them with a smile. They heard footsteps coming and then the guard from before walked into the office.
"What do you need?" Armand asked him with a gruff voice. The man didn't look at him, but at her.
"I brought her some flowers," The man said as he showed them the flowers. Celine's eyes widened as she saw the flowers.
"I love roses," She said happily as the man put the flowers in front of her. Armand rolled his eyes at them and then spoke again.
"You can leave now," He said to his guard. The man nodded and left again as he took her flowers away from her. Armand picked them up and put the roses on his office table.
"Well, what do you think about the flowers?" He asked her after the guard had left the room again. She smiled at him and nodded.
"Well... they're beautiful, thank you," She said to him happily. He saw that he finally made her smile and it pleased him. It meant that she liked him and wanted him.
"Now, should we celebrate this with something?" He asked her a few minutes later. She looked confused again and then shook her head.
"Well... I am not feeling good. I think that I want to lie down," She said to him weakly. He frowned as he saw her holding her stomach.
"Is something wrong?" He asked her with concern.
"No... I just feel a bit sick," She answered him.
"That's not normal," He said to her again after a moment of thought.
"Well... it might be because of what happened before," She said to him, but it sounded confusing to him. What did she mean with what happened before? Was she talking about their wedding?
"What do you mean?" He asked her again as he felt confused again.
"Nothing," She said quickly as he looked at her confused. He decided that she probably didn't want to talk about it. He had a lot of things to talk to her about, but he decided to let it go this time. He nodded at her a moment later.
"Then why don't you go to rest. I'll call our doctor," He told her as she nodded at him weakly.
"Yes... that sounds good," She said slowly. He nodded back at her and then left the room. He closed the office door and walked downstairs where his guards were waiting.
"I need your help," He said to one of them again. The man looked confused, but nodded at him.
Armand walked into his office and called the doctor. The doctor said that he could be there in an hour.
Armand agreed and then hung up the phone. He decided to call his brother, but then stopped himself. He didn't know how he would react to the news of him marrying her.
He decided not to tell him just yet. He got up from his couch and walked towards the door, then he stopped again.
He remembered that he needed to do something for her. He went over to the bar and took out two glasses and a bottle of wine. He poured them each a glass and then carried them to her room with him.
