Episode 19

"And of course it is because of your desperation that made you became ruthless! now you will taste the wine you made!!" Jones's words were a final judgment, a stark reminder of the king's failings. With a swift, decisive motion, he plunged his sword into the king's heart, ending his reign of terror.
Turning back to Dara, Jones knelt before him, his loyalty unwavering. “Long live my king!” he proclaimed, his voice ringing with conviction. The rest of his warriors followed suit, their bows a testament to their newfound allegiance. Dara felt a surge of joy, a sense of validation. He had found a crew, a band of loyal warriors who understood his true intentions, who now know he was innocent of the accusations that had plagued him.
Amidst the cheers, Micah approached Obed, who stood at the edge of the crowd, his gaze distant. “Got your revenge, how are you feeling now?” Micah asked, his voice tinged with concern. Obed nodded slowly, a weight lifting from his shoulders. “I feel free now. Before, I felt like I was tied to a long, heavy chain. Now, I feel free from my heart. I know my sister would be proud of me. Nothing else matters now,” he said, his voice filled with a newfound peace.
“That’s a good thing. You finally got your revenge. But what’s your next plan? You said after you got your revenge, you’d go far away and start a new life by yourself,” Micah reminded him, his voice laced with curiosity.
“I’m not sure,” Obed replied, his voice uncertain.
Suddenly, Dara’s voice cut through the celebration, his gaze fixed on Obed. “My dear friend, Obed!” He extended a hand towards him, a gesture of welcome and understanding.
Dara's words were a balm to Obed's wounded soul. "I know you are happy now that you have finally gotten your revenge, and to compensate you for your loss, because your sister was once a very good friend of the royal family! She was well-loved and deserved a better fate than what she received. I will be naming you the Lord of this Kingdom, the East King!"
Obed stood speechless, his gaze fixed on Dara, his heart filled with a mix of gratitude and disbelief. Micah, on the other hand, clapped enthusiastically, his joy for his friend evident.
“You can choose to start a new life, make a family, and try to be happy. You can also choose to confide in us, but it is all your choice!” Dara added, his voice filled with sincerity. Obed’s face broke into a smile, a genuine expression of happiness.
“Thank you, my King! I don’t even know the right words to use… but I’m grateful!” he said, his voice thick with emotion. Dara smiled warmly, placing a hand on Obed’s shoulder.
“Don’t be. You deserve it.”
               | Genesis Kingdom |
The Genesis Kingdom, often referred to as the Golden Land, is renowned for its abundant resources. This centrality among the seven kingdoms is what earned it the title of the Golden Land.
However, the kingdom has been in a state of chaos since the death of King Genesis. The once orderly kingdom has become disordered; what appears white on the surface often hides darkness within. The people have faced immense challenges.
But Dara is already on his way with his army to go liberate his homeland.
As he marches forward, he is accompanied by Jones and his team of expert warriors. They are not alone; the armies of the East Kingdom and other allied forces have joined their cause, all united to help Dara reclaim what is rightfully his.
Adding to their strength, a dragon soars above them, a symbol of their might. Obed on the other hand wields a magical weapon, ensuring that their enemies stand little chance against such formidable power.
On the opposing side, Myth lacks the necessary forces to match Dara's army and strength now. His only advantage lies in his status as a demigod, which makes him difficult to defeat. However, he faces a formidable opponent in Dara, who is also a demigod.
With all these elements in play, the upcoming storming of the kingdom promises to be a brutal confrontation.
Well, arriving at the kingdom, Dara’s heart swelled with joy as he witnessed the warm reception from the people of the Genesis Kingdom. "I don't understand what happened to the people of the Genesis Kingdom? I thought they all wanted me dead! Why have they suddenly changed now?" he exclaimed, his voice brimming with happiness.
He had anticipated a hostile crowd, a reason why he had amassed a larger army. He had planned to explain himself, to prove his innocence because he believed the people would want him dead just by setting their eyes on him. But now, it seemed unnecessary. The people were welcoming him with open arms, their cheers echoing through the streets.
"Hmm, maybe, I should say that they have suffered enough and they wish that the Genesis family should return back to the throne. They thought that no one was ever going to come to the rescue, so I believe it is their surprise that they saw you alive," Micah replied, his horse keeping pace with Dara's.
"And you and I know that the rumors spread very well that you are dead. Everyone really believed that you are dead," Micah added.
"Well, that is not actually the reason why they are welcoming you," Obed interrupted, his voice calm and measured as he run into their midst, he was behind before.
However, Obed had made up his mind to fight for Dara, alongside his army. He knew they were going to win, regardless of his participation but he just want to be part of the history. Dara, once victorious, would be the rightful king of the seven kingdoms, fulfilling a destiny that would surpass his father's achievements.
Micah and Dara, intrigued by Obed's resolute stance, turned to him. "So what then do you think made the people change their mind?" Dara asked since he knows better, of course he had been here before so he should know.
"It's not what I think, but what actually happened," Obed responded, his voice steady.
"Okay, what then happened?" Dara pressed, his gaze fixed on Obed.
"Well, tracing the death of my sister led me straight to Mara, so I confronted her," Obed revealed.
Dara’s attention sharpened at the mention of Mara, his sister. He leaned forward, eager to hear more, as they continued their journey towards the Genesis Kingdom.
