Solstice's Pov
I'm finally at home. Carl and the others had already gone back. I really enjoyed this day today because I got to have fun with my crazy friends. I'm thankful to have someone like them. 
 
I took out my phone from my pocket and opened it to look at the time. Ohh, it's already 10:15 and I'm late. I hope he won't be mad; it's just 15 minutes late. 
 
I looked at the door in front of me. I breathed in and I knocked on the door before opening it. As I walked in, the singing voice of a man was the first thing I heard.
 
“When marimba rhythms start to play,Dance with me, make me sway,Like a lazy ocean hugs the shore,Hold me close, sway me more, “ A deep voice could be heard singing.
I spotted Luan as I opened the door. He was singing while sitting in a chair in front of the door, his finger tapping on the armrest and his legs spread open. He was dressed in a tank top that revealed his muscles and sweatpants.
“You're 15 minutes late,“ he questioned. He looked strict in his look. He was looking at me with his emotionless face and with his sharp looking eyes. 
Looking at him, I gulped. He patted his right thigh.
"Sit," he commanded.
I nodded my head and went to him, sitting on his right thigh. I must admit, his thighs were one of my favorite parts of his body.
 
I was sitting sideways on his thigh. He sneaked his hand up to my waist while his other hand was on my thigh, gently rubbing it up and down. 
He looked at me. “Why are you late?" he asked. 
 
“It took us 45 minutes to get here, darling. I'm sorry,“ I said. 
 
"Then leave 45 minutes earlier," he said, raising his brow and squeezing my waist.
 
I rolled my eyes at him. "You always have answers to everything.“
Whatever reason I give, he always has something to answer.
 
"Glad you know," he said, standing up and carrying me over his shoulder.
 
I clicked my tongue in irritation.
Something came up in my mind which I know he'll be irritated if I do that. Well, with his answers, it irritates me a lot and he knows that. 
 
I will call him by his name tomorrow. I want to know his reaction and I want to know what he will do. This is interesting.
He placed me down on the bed, making me lie down. I just stared at him, into his eyes, with a smirk on my face. 
 
He went on top of me with his hands on both of my sides. “What's with the smirk, darling?“ he questioned as his finger traced from my cheeks down to my neck.
“Nothing, nothing,“ I chuckled nervously, feeling his finger on my neck. 
 
I slowly pushed him to lie beside me, then I turned to face him. I could feel his hand, placing it on my waist.

I woke up, feeling a hand on my cheek, gently caressing it with its thumb. I heard a breathy voice say, "Wake up darling, I need you.“ It was my darling, Luan. 
 
“I'm awake now," I mumbled and gasped when he suddenly pulled me closer to his body, placing gentle kisses on my neck. I could feel him sniffing my scent, and he chuckled, mumbling, "I like your smell."
“Darling, when we go to work, come inside the meeting room before the meeting starts, okay?“ He said, then sat up on the bed. 
 
I was curious why he wanted me to go there before the meeting. What does he need? I heard it's a big meeting because his friends and my father, who were the bosses or ceos of different kinds of businesses, will be there.
“Why?“ I questioned him. 
 
He said, "Kisses and hugs to give me courage before the meeting starts.“ He pulled me up to sit, then he slowly moved me to sit on his lap. 
 
“Oh wow, the great Luan Devlin needs courage before a meeting," I chuckled. I never thought he would need it from me. Well, Luan was one of the best CEOs here and he was so good at reporting, meetings, or presenting their products. In his family business, they make technology and invent things. There are different kinds of people there, like engineers, scientists, and more. Before he inherited his family's business, he was a doctor and he owned a hospital. He still managed it with the help of some of his trusted assistants. 
Of course, I'm still a person who feels nervous. "You're my wife, and I want that only you can see my weaknesses,“ he said in a serious tone. 
 
I'm glad to know that he has this side of him. I know that he has a weak side, but what's made me happy is that he let me know it. He trusted me to let me know his weaknesses and to show me his weaknesses.
 
“Aww, really, darling?“ I smiled at him and I suddenly remembered what I thought last time. Maybe I'll do it the next day because he's having a meeting today and it'll probably affect his mood. 
"Yes," he said, and I could feel his hand rubbing against my curves as he drew my body closer to his.
My cheeks got a rosy tinge as I locked my stare on his. I'm not sure how to react, but every time he does anything like this, I get butterflies in my stomach.
“I love you darling,” he said and gave me gentle kisses on the forehead.
He has never failed to express his affection for me since the day we became okay. He was nice with me and tried not to harm my feelings.He helped me treat the invisible wounds he caused.
“I love you too,“ I said, as I caressed his cheeks gently. I will try to make our relationship better too. I hope everything will be okay.
“Our little star will be glad to see us like this,“ he mumbled and nuzzled my neck. 
 
He still remembers our baby. Yes, he will be happy. I hope Star was still alive so she or he could see us like this. 
 
"Yes, our star will be glad," a tear fell from my eyes as I remembered my unborn child. How I wish that our baby was here.
