Solstice's Pov
My whole damn body hurts. Damn you Luan. I woke up early this morning, then I turned my gaze to Luan's sleeping figure on the bed beside me while his arm was on top of my belly. 
 
I shouldn't have bit his thigh. This guy is really aggressive. I looked at the clock. I had only slept for 5 hours. We both still have work. 
 
I smirked as I planned to do the thing I've been planning. Call Luan by his name all day. 
I placed my hand on his arm that was on my belly and gently stroked it. I leaned closer to him and whispered, “Luan, wake up. We still have work to do. “
 
He didn't wake up but instead he pulled me and make me lay on top of him. His eyes suddenly opened and was staring intensely at me. “What did you said little girl? "
“I said, LUAN, wake up and we still have work for you,“ I said, emphasizing his name to annoy him more. 
 
He clicked his tongue in annoyance and held my waist tightly, which made me let out a gasp. “Do you want me to make you study back in kindergarten just to teach you how to pronounce 'darling'?“ "He said annoyingly.
I pressed my lips together, trying to stop myself from laughing. He looked annoyed now based on his face and tone when he spoke. “ No need LUAN. I already learned what I should have learned before, “ I chuckled a little after emphasizing his name again.
“Keep calling me that and we will not go to work today.“
 
I know that he's already mad and also that I don't want to be absent at work. I sighed in defeat. “Okay, fine. Darling, let's go get ready now for work. ”
He chuckled and showered my face with his gentle kisses, which made my face turn red. I bit my lower lip, stopping myself from shouting because of his sweetness. Oh gosh, darling, I didn't expect that you'd be this sweet.
“Shorty, let's date later after work,“ he said in a demanding way. I just flashed him a smile and nodded.

“Guys, have you heard? Sir Luan was already married. There was a ring on his left hand that looked like a wedding ring. “
 
I've been hearing a lot of things since I came here. A rumor says that Luan is already married. I'm glad to know that he was already wearing our wedding ring, and luckily, when I was here working, I was wearing a necklace with my ring on it and it was hidden under my shirt.
 
I heard a sighed behind my back, and then that person spoke up.“Oh my, can you please stop talking about it? My husband, Luan, wants to keep it private. “
 
With the voice, I immediately recognized the voice. It was Lyla who called me an attention seeker last time.
After Kiara died, her best friend replaced her, and now she was claiming that Luan was his husband. What is this? best friend's goals?
I sighed and rubbed my temples. I'm the one who was embarrassed by what she was saying. I don't know how Luan will react to this, but it's kind of fun to watch.
"So you guys, better shut your mouths," she said.
“Any proofs? “
“Yeah, give us proofs. “
Lyla suddenly showed a ring in her hands with a same color in Luan's hands but it was a different design.
“Woahh! Ma'am Lyla, “
I mentally face palmed myself. They actually believed that shit? They're working for a man who was really smart, but why did they believe that? 
“Yes, hah, you guys should call me ma'am Lyla.Especially you, because you're the one who had a bitchy attitude toward me," she said, placing a heavy hand on my shoulder, which made me hiss a little because my entire body still hurts.
I rolled my eyes and went back to work, ignoring her. Good luck to her. She scoffed in annoyance and left, which made me laugh a little. 
 
“Solstice, sir, is calling you.“
 
As I stood up from my seat, Lyla stood up too. “I don't know why my husband kept calling you. Maybe he knew about your attitude towards his WIFE, “ Lyla said, emphasizing the word "wife" while she was staring at her nails. 
I sighed and went to Luan's office. After I got in, I immediately locked the door, then I looked at Luan. I saw him walking around, looking at his bookshelves, maybe finding something to read. 
 
"The rumors and that frog, Lyla," he turned to face me.“Darling, I don't want others to claim themselves as my wife,“
 
“It's fine, just don't say anything," I walked towards him and cupped his cheeks.
“Darling,“ he whined, and he leaned down, nuzzling my neck. “But tell me if you feel uncomfortable, okay?“
This guy can be really a soft guy sometimes. “Yes, I will,“ I chuckled, and ran my fingers through his hair.
I flinched as I felt him suddenly carry me, then move his files to the side and place me on his table.
 
“The date will be after I finish my work. Wait for me here, okay?Tell them that you'll overtime. “
 
“Noted, Mr. Devlin.“
 
"Well, that's good, Mrs. Devlin.“
Someone's Pov
“Do you think Lyla is the real wife of Sir Luan?“
 
“Maybe, she has the same ring with him.“
 
“Sir Luan hasn't even gotten mad at her. All of us have been called to his office except her.“
 
Hearing such comments from my coworkers made me sigh. “For me, I think Solstice was Sir Luan's wife.“ I said.
Finally, I already said what's on my mind. Before Sir Luan wore that kind of ring, I remembered that Solstice was wearing something similar before, but now she was not wearing it anymore. 
“No, I heard last time when I was about to turn in the files, sir was shouting at Solstice and that's impossible.“
“You know, my parents know Luan's parents very well, so why are you still doubting me?“ Lyla said. 
 
Sir Luan's assistant slammed his hand on his desk. “I've been with sir and I haven't seen any woman in his life except his mom, so you guys shut the fuck up and go back to work!!!“
