Luan's Pov
We were just laying on a blanket I set on the ground. We were both staring up at the dark sky full of stars. I looked over to Solstice and saw her raising her hand up, as if she was reaching for something. 
 
“What are you doing, darling?“ I asked her, curious about what she was trying to do. 
 
"Trying to reach the moon," she said as she turned to face him. Before I could speak another sentence to reply, she said something which broke me a little. “You know, like now, this is how I felt before. I'm trying to reach you even though I know I can't. “
 
I went up a little, reaching for her hand. "I'm sorry," I muttered as I placed her soft hand on my cheek. I muttered the two words that I'd always wanted to say to her, causing a tear to fall from my eyes. I know, she said she always forgive me every time I did such things that hurt her, but me, myself, I don't forgive myself for what I did to her.
“I already forgive you," she said with a smile, assuring me that she already forgave me. 
 
She's really the best girl for me. The one and only girl. I'm glad to have someone like her. She stayed even though I hurt her. 
 
I was in my thoughts, thinking about how good she is, how much I love her, how I regretted everything and more, when she suddenly asked a random question. 
 
“Darling, how can you kill a person without getting caught? I mean, you killed Kiara, "she said. It made me think a little, thinking of a way to reply to her. I don't want to lie. Maybe I'll tell her the truth. 
 
“Darling, I am in an organization which was connected to the government. They allowed us to kill people, but not those innocent ones. Let's say, Kiara is a bad person. That's why I killed her," I explained to her, hoping she would get my explanation. I don't want her to think that I'm a very bad person because I killed some people. I only kill those whom I think will harm me, but I wouldn't dare kill someone who was innocent.
“Oh, I understand,” she said, slowly caressing my cheek. I could feel how soft her hand was on my cheek. 
 
I pulled her close to me, making her lay her head on my chest. I kissed her head, slowly stroking her hair. She had a short hair which really suited her. I placed a hand on her arm and gently squeezed it. 
“Darling, do you think our friends will find out soon that we're okay now? “ she asked, looking up to my face.
“Yes darling, soon,” I looked up in the sky.
“Do you think our star is happy up there? “ she randomly asked as she pointed at the sky.
“Yes, he or she will, I think our baby is already glad because we're here now, together, having a date,” I said. I still blame myself for our baby's death. If it wasn't because of me, maybe our baby is still alive.
“Yeah, our baby is glad,“ she said in a low voice. I looked at her. Her eyes were half closed, almost shutting down. 
 
“Sleepy darling?“ I chuckled, seeing how cute she was when she fought her own sleepiness. She just moved her head up and down as a response. 
 
I wrapped my arm around her; she was still on my chest, laying. I kissed her head and held her close to me to keep her warm while she slept.
 
I took a glance at her again and now she was sleeping. I smiled, seeing her face while she was sleeping comfortably on me. 
 
It was really quiet, only the sound of the wind, her breathing and my pounding heart were the sounds that can be heard around. I looked up in the sky. 
 
“Thank you for letting me have this girl again, “ I thanked the one who was above, the one who everyone consider as God. I was happy that he gave me a girl like her. I was happy that he built her as a strong woman that can bare all the pain I caused her before.
“What would I be if you hadn't come into my life?Will I just be alone all by myself?Thank you, thank you for making me know that I'm not alone," I muttered. 
“I love you, Solstice. This chance that you gave me will not be wasted. I will be a better man for you. “
 
“I want to tell you everything I want to say while you're asleep there. Everything is enough for me for now. You know, you are enough for me. Soon, I hope we can have a family. Children, you and me, a family that I can take care of. We almost had one. If it wasn't for me, our baby would probably still be alive. I hurt you too much, but you stayed. I thought it would be too late for me to love you.“
I slowly stroked her head while she was sleeping on my chest.
“I regretted everything Solstice. You may really forgive me but me, I don't forgive myself for hurting you. I don't know why I blame you when it's really our parents who made us marry each other.“
“Please, don't blame yourself. LlNo one wants our baby to die," she suddenly said. I looked at her, seeing her awake. 
“You're awake? “
“I didn't fall asleep, I just closed my eyes and boom you keep talking, so I can't sleep. " She chuckled and nuzzled up to my neck.
I flashed her a smile and patted her head.
“You will never fail to make me smile.I never thought being with you would always make my day complete. Maybe if there was a day that you were not by my side, I would not be in a good mood and be grumpy. You're my happiness now. I can't let myself hurt you again and I can't lose you.“ I hugged her tightly, squeezing her body against mine.
She just simply hid her face on my neck, but her ears were visibly red. 
 
I can't lose my pretty wife.
