Six months later…
 
"You don't have to bring me flowers and toys for Angelie whenever you come here, Louis."
Blair invites Louis into the beach house that is now her. Louis sat in the living room. He glanced at the stroller where the baby was laying the fast-asleep there.
"You seem to like flowers. And I don't mind if I had to buy more toys for Angelie, either. Look at her sleeping so soundly. This little girl is growing up so fast."
Blair brought Louis a drink.
"I'm sorry this house is a mess. Because I have to do everything myself, including caring for Angelie."
"You always turn down my offers to give Angelie a sitter."
"It's okay, Louis. I don't want to lose precious moments accompanying my daughter's golden growth years."
"Oh, I came here to tell you that we have already selected a director for the film we will produce."
"Is it true? That's good."
"We have also considered using actor Leonardo as the main character. He's expensive, but the risk would be less if we used a famous actor."
Blair needs to look more cheerful.
"I see," she muttered in a slightly disappointed tone.
"Why? You don't like our selection of actors. Do you have any other ideas?"
"Leonardo is really famous and also very handsome. But I want the leading actor to have a face that is a bit colder and fierce. Leonardo's face was too friendly and too warm. He has a character that is so friendly in the eyes of his fans. He's not suitable for the character I'm writing about.
"He must have a cold face?"
"Yes, he must have a facial expression that looks so cold, but the character is so gentle and loving."
Louis looked thoughtful for a moment. "Have what cold face? As cold as Axel?"
Blair surprised. She was awkward and embarrassed when she had to admit it. Blair tries to avoid and find excuses.
"I mean… it's not like that."
Louis thought.
Six months ago, Axel attended the reading of the will and distribution of inheritance. Axel did manage to submit the results of a DNA test which stated that Axel managed to have a child with the woman he had to seek based on a second will.
However, Axel refuses to accept the company's inheritance and also refuses to accept the leadership of the pack.
"I have fulfilled all the requirements according to my father's second will. I managed to find the girl. I even have children from her. I'll prove it from the results of this DNA test. I got the results of this DNA test when the baby was still in her mother's womb. However, I cannot use this child to obtain and claim the inheritance from my father."
Louis was initially disappointed because he was sure to lose the company. Celine didn't expect anything anymore because, from the start, she really trusted the company more for Axel.
But, when they heard Axel's confession that he refused to accept the inheritance, people were shocked.
"You still have enough time, Mr Axel. You are still entitled to receive the inheritance from your father. Because you have fulfilled all the requirements of the will."
Axel shook his head. "I just came to tell you that I have carried out and granted my father's last wish before he died. That's enough for me. This company will indeed thrive under Louis' leadership. Maybe I've been too selfish. My greed led me to a lot of trouble.
"Axel!" Celine couldn't believe what she was hearing. "You are entitled and deserve to receive the company. And you must lead this pack."
"No, Mom. Forgive me. "
For the first time, Axel called Celine as a mom. The woman was so touched.
"I can only mess up. My place is supposed to be somewhere else. Louis, I beg you to take this company and lead our pack as best you can. I leave everything to you."
Since then, no one knows where Axel has gone.
"Blair," said Louis. "Can you tell me what really happened that night when you last met Axel?"
Blair looks down. "He helped my birth. Axel did propose to me. He told me everything. All this time, his father constantly looked for me and my mother's whereabouts. But, I refused Axel's proposal."
"Why?" he asked. "I thought you had loved him all along?"
"I do love him. But I don't know how Axel really feels about me. At that time, I could tell he was in a confused state. He wasn't sure of himself. Is his feeling for me really because of love? Or is it because of ambition to get the company? I don't want to live with someone like that."
Louis nodded in understanding. "Axel really left everything behind. No one knows where he is now."
Louis smiled disappointedly. "Now I really look like a loser. I didn't think he would let go of the company so easily. I like receiving candy from a child who has lost his taste. It really hurt my pride."
"Louis, you shouldn't have said that. I know you're a competent man who can lead the company well. That's why Axel left this company and leadership to you."
"Come on, let's go out, Blair. I'll buy you some good food and celebrate the director selection!" ask Louis.
Blair looked at the baby and then nodded at Louis. "Yes, of course. I've already contacted a part-time nanny to look after my baby for a few hours."
Louis and Blair went to a restaurant to have lunch together.
"You're not lonely in that big house alone?" asked Louis between their lunch.
"I'm fine," exclaimed Blair. "I'm used to living alone. Even while living with my mother, I mostly stayed alone at home because my mother was busy working."
"Wow, you are courageous," said Louis.
"Of course. Life is challenging. So I must survive and get through everything, no matter how difficult."
Blair chews her food.
"This is delicious," praised Blair. "The taste is worth the price."
"What do you think of this food, drink, talk and banter? Every day?"
"What? Every day?" Blair was slightly surprised by the unusual question.
"I want to see you every day, Blair."
Hearing that statement, Blair so misbehaving. She looked away.
"Blair?"
"Yeah?"
"I'm proposing to you," Louis said.
Blair needs clarification. She wasn't ready for such a sudden proposal. Blair also chose to laugh softly and take it as a joke.
"I recently got divorced. Even though it's just a staged wedding, this feels a bit…."
"Then I'll be waiting!"
Blair could only stare at Louis with a surprised look.
