Blair managed to escape from Axel's arms without dropping her pride. She breathed a sigh of relief after shooing the man away. No more Axel's voice screaming or knocking on the door.
Blair is back busy with work and activities caring for Angelie.
A few hours later, Blair went to the front door and opened it. She peeked into the courtyard and didn't see Axel anywhere.
There is a sense of regret and loss in her little heart. But Blair trying to get rid of all those worries and refocus on her current life.
Moment Blair was about to close the door again, and the corner of her eye caught a flicker of movement that disturbed her. Blair came out and walked towards the side yard. She was surprised when saw Axel lying curled up on the swing.
"Goddes, what is he doing there? Really stubborn. Why doesn't he leave too?"
Blair was again annoyed and slammed the door shut tightly.
Blair went to check on her daughter on the second floor. The little baby was fast asleep. Blair keeps watch over her. She was still afraid that Axel would secretly kidnap her.
Blair paced restlessly in front of the cot.
"Why didn't he also go from there? If he continues like that, he will shake my position."
Blair peeked through the window of her daughter's room. She saw Axel still lying on the swing hugging his own cold body. Blair can't bear to see it. The wind on the beach is quite strong.
"No!"
Blair hardens her heart.
"I will not accept Axel back, no matter what!"
Evening came. Blair, too, focused on work and activities, taking care of Angelie that day.
She finished changing clothes and applying skin care to her face before bed. Suddenly her hand stopped, and she thought of Axel.
Blair is curious. She put her moisturizer back on and peeked through the bedroom window.
"Where did he go?"
Blair didn't see Axel on the swing. Blair is shocked and sad. She spun around, looking for Axel on the other side of the yard, and still couldn't find the man anywhere.
Curiosity, Blair hurried down and went to the yard. She searched every corner of the yard and every corner of the house. Blair still needs help finding Axel.
Blair fears and panics.
"Axel, where are you? If you're hiding, just watch out!"
Because of so much panic, Blair left the house without thinking and ran towards the path to catch up with Axel, who might not have gone far.
"Axel, where are you?" shouted Blair.
Axel was sitting on a tree branch not far from the yard Blair. He listened Blair shouted and ran past him. Axel was shocked.
"Blair? What is wrong with her?"
When viewing Blair running while saying Axel's name frantically, Axel's heart had a deep sadness and intense guilt. Unconsciously, Axel cried.
Blair returned home empty-handed. She was still looking for Axel. The woman sat wearily beside her daughter's bed and muttered sadly.
Angelie woke up. The baby was talking to herself, muttering words only she could understand. The little baby looks cheerful, looking at her mother, who looks restless.
"Angelica… are you awake? Sorry I couldn't find your father."
Blair shrunk her tears with a tissue.
"If you were going, you should have left long ago. If not, you should at least say goodbye first. He's always been on his own."
Angelie showed her cheerful laugh again.
"Oh, are you hungry? Can you wait here for a while? I'm going to the kitchen to get some milk for you."
Blair left her daughter alone in the room after ensuring the baby was comfortable and safe. When coming out of her daughter's room, step Blair stopped because she saw the door previously occupied by Axel open.
Blair can't remember opening it. She comes there and is about to close the door again. Instead of closing the door, Blair felt a strong urge to turn on the light.
The light switch is turned on.
Blair shrieked in surprise when she saw Axel lying in bed. Blair is very annoyed. She approached Axel, who was hiding under his blanket.
"Wake up, Axel! Wake up!" Blair shook Axel's body, which was curled up under the covers.
Axel pretended to be asleep. He stretched and pretended he was annoyed.
"Blair, stop it! Why are you disturbing a sleeping person?" Axel whined, spoiled.
"How did you get in here?" snapped Blair. "How did you get in?" Blair beat Axel's shoulders and back in despair, relieved that he wasn't gone yet.
"Ow! Stop this. It hurts! I entered through the kitchen door that you forgot to lock."
"What?" Blair stop hitting Axel.
"Blair, why do you have the heart to let me sleep outside?" Axel pursed his lips and whined spoiled, begging for pity. "There are lots of bugs, and the wind is powerful. I have nothing at the moment. I don't even have a place to go back to. I'm willing to come down from the forest to meet you. But, you want to throw me out like that?"
Blair can't speak anymore. All her feelings are mixed. Fear, sadness, worry, and longing really split into one. All these feelings formed a deafening cry.
Blair roared in front of Axel.
Axel didn't count Blair looks so fragile. He was shocked to see Blair so sad and suffering.
Axel got up from the bed and hugged Blair so tight.
Blair kept crying and sobbing in Axel's arms.
"Why are you crying? What makes you so sad?"
Blair broke away from Axel's embrace and quickly wiped away her tears. Still with a suppressed sob, she began to speak.
"I thought you were gone… I thought you were gone forever. You don't say goodbye to me either. I thought you'd meet the girl. The girl you've always loved and always hoped to have."
Axel frowned. "The girl I love?" Axel laughed at that. "You mean the dialogues I often practice to propose to her? Oh, Blair, you are so stupid!"
"What? Are you calling me stupid?" Blair is angry.
Axel dropped Blair to the bed and pressed against his body. He stared Blair so intensely.
“Axel… what are you…”
Axel brought his face closer to Blair and began to wipe the tears that fell on the girl's cheeks.
"How come you never noticed, Blair? That girl is none other than yourself. I told you, I've been looking for you for years. All those proposals… all those proposal dialogues… all of them I want to show you. I'm just waiting for the right time for you to accept me. Not because I had to, especially with all those fake contract marriages."
"Axel?" Throat Blair choking.
Axel locks the body Blair under his own body. "You never listen to me, Blair. You never believed me. Only you... only you are what I've been looking for and want. I also never wanted to take Angelie from you.”
“On the contrary, I have always wanted to look after and protect you. That's why I came back, Blair. I want to avoid making the same mistake. I don't want to repeat my old stupidity. I don't want to lose you guys again."
"Axel?" Blair groans.
Axel immediately covered Blair’s lips with a kiss. Blair gasped in surprise but let her body dissolve in Axel's arms and cradles.
Feeling acceptance, Axel even more intensely crushed Blair’s lips and put his hand on her body.
Between their hunting breaths, Axel whispered something into Blair’s ear.
"Marry me, Blair. Be my wife. Be the mother of our daughter and future children. Marry me, my love…."
