"Can we have a break for a while, I'm feeling tired right now. "
"A break? Then get the hell out of here! And just take your time resting for the rest of your life, just don’t come here and commit sui*cide!" I snapped, kicking him in the rear. He complains a lot.
"I was just joking, Asna," he replied with a fake laugh.
It’s just right since we’re short on people at the hacienda I established in this small town. People come to me to buy apples and peaches, and when someone is in trouble, I'm one of those who helps out.
"Oh! What a beautiful fruit!" said one of my customers.
"Of course! When have I ever sold anything that wasn’t good here?" The crowd started gathering to buy. I had a small bag at my waist where I kept the money.
"Oh my! You’re so lucky! The man who marries you will be fortunate because you’re beautiful, hardworking, and clever," praised my female customer, and I noticed they were looking at Levi.
"Oh no, that’s not true! By the way, let me introduce you to my new delivery boy for my fruits."
"What? What does delivery boy mean?" Levi asked in shock.
"He's the one who delivers their orders, so you better use that body of yours to carry this, or else just get lost."
"Y-yes?" He reluctantly nodded in front of my customers.
"Alright, I’m leaving now. If there are any problems, just let me know. I’m ready to help."
I glanced at Levi and gave him an authoritative look.
"I don’t want you being lazy. If you want to be worth something, you have to work hard! Don’t rely on help from others or me! Because that help isn’t permanent; you also need to stand on your own two feet without anyone's help so you can prove that you’re a worthwhile person."
I walked away from him, but I heard him say thank you.
"Tsk! Don’t thank me... I only said that because I’m annoyed with you."
"But thank you anyway because, somehow, I realized something."

Why do I feel like I’m missing someone? Shit, my head hurts. Suddenly, I saw a woman beside me. Wait, I remember her...
"My Eve..." I caressed her cheek and kissed her lips down to her neck. Damn, I missed her so much! I heard her moan while I was kissing her neck.
But when I looked again at her face, I stopped kissing her.
"You! You're not Asna! Where's my Eve?" Why is Princess Yna in my chamber?
"Um... Sorry, Venom, did I disturb your sleep? I came to your chamber because you were looking for me."
"Did I find you? Is there any woman I can call Eve? I’m not sure why I’m calling you, but I want to see Asna right now! I missed her so much." I got up from my bed and put on my clothes, but I stopped when she hugged me around the waist.
"Asna is not here! She's gone... I remember the rumors I heard from random people that she was with a man when she left. I can’t believe I heard that it was her boyfriend." Suddenly, my anger flared, and I punched the wall, causing a large crack.
"Tsk! So she finally confessed her feelings to the man she told me about before?!"
"Calm down, Venom. I brought you wine to help you relax." She handed me the wine, and I gulped it down in my anger, then suddenly my mind went...

**Princess Yna PoV**
That d*mn Asna! Why is she the one Venom is thinking about and not me!? He likes me too, you know!
I held Venom’s face and kissed him on the lips... But thanks to Asna, she did a great job. I admire that woman because she found the potion for Venom to forget about her. You have no idea how happy I was about what you did, but I still hate you!
Because of that, I also used the potion that the Marquis gave me. He didn’t want Venom to remember Asna because it hurts him to see his son chasing after her. He finds Asna arrogant, so that's why he’s so desperate, and I can’t blame him.
"I love you, Venom. Do you love me, right?"
"Yes... I love you, Princess Yna." I smiled and kissed him.

"Is everything ready?" I asked the five assassins I hired to ki*ll the Grand Duke, Violet, and Xyn so that there would be no reason for that woman to return here.
"Yes, Princess. You can count on us to execute every move flawlessly."
"Good... Make sure you leave no traces in that mansion."
What will your reaction be when you find out that when you return, they’ll all be in coffins? I held my stomach because I was laughing so hard at what her reaction would be.

To be honest, I want to see them too; they’ve been sending letters to me. They say they want to see me, but I’m not ready for that yet.
"Everyone deserves a second chance if you know they’re deserving of it. It’s up to you whether you can forgive them or not..."
"ANA!" I turned to see who called.
"You have a letter! It’s from Elloi."
I didn’t know why, but I felt a pang of anxiety at that letter! How did they find me here? I read what was written. My hands trembled as I finished reading.
"You need to return to the Empire, Asna... For the death of the Grand Duke, Violet, and your elder brother, Xyn.
"The Grand Duke was found with a wound in his stomach and neck, while Violet was found raped, and your elder brother, Xyn, was found with his head severed from his body."
I collapsed where I stood, and tears began to fall down my cheeks.
"Asna... What happened?" Levi asked sadly.
"The Grand Duke, Violet, and Xyn are gone."
"Where are you going, Asna?" Levi called after me.

"I'm just going inside for a moment." I left a smile on my lips. I ran to my room and searched for the book I immediately read, but it felt like my world stopped with what I learned.
"I can’t bring them back?" My tears flowed as I screamed in agony.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH........ IS THIS IT!!!! IS THIS IT!!!! THE PRICE OF MY SELFISHNESS!! DO I NO LONGER HAVE THE RIGHT TO BE HAPPY!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" I screamed in fury.
I hugged myself as all the pain I had ever felt rushed back to me.
"Violet, Papa, Kuya... Why did you leave me? Who did this to you?" A mix of emotions surged through me.
I looked at the large painting in the room where I thought I would only be with them. I took it and hugged it tightly while I cried without stopping

"Are you sure you're going to Elloi?" Levi asked me.
"Yes, I need to make whoever did this pay. I’ll make sure to turn their lives into hell. They chose the wrong enemy." I hurried to pack all my things.
I was surprised when I stepped out and saw everyone waiting for me. Some were crying because, after all, I shared a lot with them for a long time.
"Be careful, Ana." I smiled at the people and said goodbye to them.
"I’ll leave this to you! So take care of the people here. Prove to me that you’re a worthwhile person despite your stupidity."
"Thank you, Asna, for believing in me!"
"Who said I believed in you? I’m telling you this because it annoys me. That’s all, no more reason! Period!"
I left them all with a laugh.

I woke up in a panic and suddenly remembered that Asna was with me. I felt hollow in my chest. Why am I feeling like this? I told Princess Yna about my feelings, and now I feel like I’m betraying her.
"I’m going to ki*ll you, Asna! You stupid woman!" I yelled, but why did my heart ache so badly? Did I really love her?

As I walked to the Empire, I was grateful for everything that had happened. The memories of my parents and brother filled my mind.
"I will do everything to avenge you all!" I said through my tears as I continued my journey.

"Princess Asna... We have arrived," said my coachman.
I got off and was greeted by the mansion. I couldn't believe I was returning to this mansion to mourn their deaths.
Once inside, it was eerily quiet... But I steeled myself...
I saw a figure standing a short distance away... A knight.
"Your Highness, I am here to guide you to their graves," he said. I followed the knight, fighting back my tears.
I was led to three stone markers where their names were engraved. I signaled the knight to leave me alone.
"I hope you can forgive me... I prioritized myself even though I knew I could have stayed with you because I loved you so much as my family." Tears streamed down my face.
"I try to be brave in front of you, but the truth is, I’m so weak! I’m a coward! A coward for not showing my true feelings to others. I don’t want them to see my weakness."
"I couldn’t even be with you. I was so selfish, Asna! I was so selfish!!!" I wanted to blame everything that was happening.
"Asna....." I suddenly turned around to see the Grand Duke, Violet, and Xyn standing before me... Am I dreaming?
"I'm sorry! It’s truly my fault. I just wanted to see your reaction when you found out we died. I know it’s a bad joke, and I didn’t expect you to be this depressed. I'M SORRY! I didn’t mean to hurt you! Slap me, do whatever you want to me."
"I told you... That’s not a good joke. I'm sorry, Asna, that I couldn’t stop Violet."
"I'm sorry; it’s my fault.... We missed you so much that’s why Violet thought of doing that, but I tried to stop her. We didn’t expect it would hurt you like this..."
I couldn't believe what I was seeing... Now I realize that I shouldn’t have left them.
I ran to them and hugged them tightly. This made me realize how important they are in my life.
"Are you mad?" Violet asked.
"Yes! This makes me angry and happy at the same time. Thanks for doing this, Violet."
"You’re so weird! I was nervous when you found out it was just a prank."
"Wait! Speaking of pranks! Why did you write in the letter that you were ra*ped? Did you know how thick-skinned you are for that?"
"Duh! I'm so beautiful and gorgeous to be brutally ki*lled, right? Then, because I was annoyed at Brother Xyn for stopping this prank, I wrote that his head was severed from his body. And for the Grand Duke, just to make it a bit more brutal."
"You really wrote that?" Xyn ruffled Violet's hair.

"Let’s go, Asna..." Papa said, and the three of them smiled at me, making my anger dissipate. I almost did something terrible if that hadn’t happened. I'm glad they are not gone...
"Did you know that Yna sent an assassin here to kill us? Unfortunately, they didn’t succeed because the Grand Duke and Kuya Xyn are too skilled..."
"Thank God you’re safe! But that bi*tch! I'm really holding back my anger towards her, but for now, I will make her pay for this! That woman won’t be at peace until she disturbs me. Let's see who is the bigger bitch between the two of us."

"DISPOSE OF THEM!" I shouted angrily. Moments later, the bodies of the four useless assassins were burned right before me...
