Asna/Mellic PoV
Finally, I finished the tasks here at the camp, and we were ready to return to Elloi. Sir Leo helped me with my belongings as we headed to the carriage. I had joined the knights for this operation.
Once I was in the carriage, I stared out the window. Soon, we arrived in Elloi, where we were greeted by the townspeople. When we reached the palace, Levi welcomed us, but I noticed he looked serious.
"I need to talk to you, Asna," he said with a serious expression.
"Okay." We went to his office, and he sat on the sofa.
"I don't think Venom is dead." I instinctively touched my necklace and forced a bitter smile at Levi.
"If you're saying that to keep me from losing hope... it's better not to say anything at all. I already told you I'm okay—"
"I'm not joking, Asna! Venom is alive; people saw him in Obelia." Suddenly, I felt a surge of joy upon hearing this news. I cried tears of happiness.
"You'll see Venom again, Asna." Levi ordered them to fetch Venom from Obelia, and I couldn't wait to see him and hug him again.
Meanwhile.......
Venom PoV
"Who are you?" When I opened the door, knights in armor stood before me. They knelt and showed their respect.
"We're here to take you, Prince Venom." I felt a sudden irritation at their words.
"I'm not going with you! I don't know what you're talking about." I was surprised when they signaled each other and forcibly tried to take me away, but before they could, I quickly distanced myself from them. I grabbed a knife from the table but stopped when I saw Helena approaching outside.
"HELENA, RUN!" I shouted, but it was too late as a sword was pointed at her in front of me.
"We won't hurt her if you come with us willingly, Prince Venom," said one of the knights. I had no choice but to comply.
"Venom!" she cried as tears welled up in her eyes. I rushed over and wiped her tears away.
"I promise I'll come back, Helena." I pressed my forehead against hers and kissed her.
"I'll wait for you, Venom." With that, I said goodbye to Helena. I promise I'll return!
Asna/Mellic PoV
"Princess Asna, Venom has arrived." My heart soared upon hearing this, so I rushed downstairs to see him. As soon as I spotted him, I couldn't help but hug him tightly.
"Venom..." When I looked at him, it seemed like he wasn't happy to see me.
"Who are you?" His gaze was cold as ice.
"Asna... Did you forget? Do you have amnesia? Sebastian, call the royal physician—"
"Get your hands off me!" My body stiffened at his words.
"Okay, but I need you to see the royal physician to ensure that you've really lost your memory—"
"No! I need to go back; Helena is waiting for me."
"Helena? Who's that girl?" My heart sank painfully at his words. Don't tell me—
"A woman that I love." It felt like the sky had fallen on me with what I heard. My fists clenched in anger and frustration. I waited for you, Venom; why?
"Take him to my office; I just need to clarify things with him."

Asna/Mellic PoV
"Is it true that Venom has lost his memory?" Violet asked me when we crossed paths in the hallway.
"Yes, and I need to remind him of everything." Violet held my shoulders and nodded before I headed to my office. When I entered, I saw Venom lifting a chair as if he were about to break my window.
"What are you doing?" He set down the chair and glared at me angrily.
"I need to leave! Someone is waiting for me!" Hearing that still hurt so much. I approached him and gently stroked his cheek.
"I miss you, Venom." I didn't care if he got angry; all that mattered was that the person I loved was alive.
"Get your hands off me! I don't know you; besides, someone is waiting for me, so let me go—"
"No! You have to stay here until you remember everything—"
"You bi*tch!! Don't you understand?" His shout froze me in place.
"No... I've prepared your room; if you want, just take that girl with you. You can't leave here." It's okay, Asna... Don't cry please...
"What? Why do I have to stay here? Who do you think you are?" He brushed past me and left my office. All I could do was close my eyes because it hurt seeing him like this.
"Please remember me..." While recalling those words made me realize that I wouldn't give up on Venom like he did on me for love. I will do the same thing.
I ordered Levi to bring Helena here to prevent Venom from leaving.
I stepped outside looking for him and found him by the lake staring into the distance as if deep in thought. I sat beside him...
"Don't worry; I've sent for Helena," I said while still gazing at the lake.
"Why don't you just let me go?" Why? Because I want to know if you'll remember me.
"I want to see you always... even if I'm not that person anymore." That person you love, Venom; all I want is to see you...
"I have no intention of remembering anything if that's what you want. I don't want to leave Helena," he replied. It was hard for me to listen to his words. All that mattered was that I wanted to fight for what I'm feeling.
I smiled at him...
"It's okay, Venom... I'll support your happiness; but if ever lose hope in you... I'll just be happy for your sake; that's all I'll be able to do..."
"You're just hurting yourself," he said as he placed his hand on his chest because it was hard for me not to get emotional in front of him.
"It's okay... You were like this with me before too but didn’t give up; so that's what I'll do too."
"VENOM!" Suddenly turning around at someone calling his name revealed Helena standing before us...

I watched as Venom stood up and walked toward Helena while my hand instinctively gripped his shirt as he turned away from me.
"Venom..." Though I'd said I'd be happy for him, why did it feel so difficult?
"Let go of your hand, Asna." Slowly releasing my grip on his shirt upon hearing his cold voice felt like a knife stabbing my heart.
I glanced at them as he lifted Helena into his arms; they seemed so happy together while she smiled brightly at him. It felt like my heart was being torn apart by what I saw.
Helena approached me with an awkward smile on her face.
"Thank you for bringing me here."
"It’s nothing... I've also prepared your room—"
"Can I stay with Venom in his room? I'm not used to being away from him." She smiled at me sweetly.
"Sure; I'll move your things into his room." They left while leaving me there; running behind a tree near the lake allowed all my tears to flow freely as sobs wracked my body from the pain inside me.
You can do this Asna... Just hold on until Venom remembers me. I'll wait.

Violet PoV
"Are you stu*pid, Asna!" My angry shout came after witnessing her letting Helena stay with Venom in the mansion.
"No, I'm not stu*pid... All I want is for Venom to be happy." My head throbbed from frustration as dizziness set in from dealing with her nonsense.
"So? You're just hurting yourself now? Asna! What’s wrong with you! Wake up! If you want Venom to be happy then just let him go and forget about him—” A sharp slap suddenly struck my cheek mid-sentence.
"Don't say that to me because you're not in my situation!"
"You’re not in my situation? Just so you know Asna that Flen never loved me because of YOU! Because YOU are the one he loves! Think about how painful that is for me but I'm also thinking about myself because I don’t want resentment between us as siblings; that's something I'd never want destroyed."
"And what about you? Have you thought about how others are hurt by what you're doing? You're not stupid Asna nor blind! It's clear that the Venom who once loved you is gone."
"If you want help forgetting him then I'll help you Asna!" Pulling her into a tight embrace came naturally since pity filled my heart for her plight.
"How?" she asked softly.
"You should drink this potion so you'll return back to normal and forget about Venom." The idea of creating a potion for Asna crossed my mind since she had already forgotten him anyway. I don’t want her looking like this! This isn’t who Asna is!
"I know she doesn’t want to forget Venom but she needs think about herself too," she replied while staring at the potion before swallowing it down only for it fall right back out onto the floor before us both!
"I won't let you hurt Asna like this anymore! You need remember everything through your true self."
