The atmosphere in the martial palace was solemn as all the higher ups of the martial palace were gathered in the main palace of the martial lord . All the martial gods were present in the palace . The Alchemy martial god , Desolate martial god , Saber martial god , Elemental martial god , Eternal martial god , Mystic martial god , shadow martial god , battle martial god , Divine martial god , Reincarnation martial god , spear martial god and Trigrams martial god .
 All the twelve martial gods were present which showed the seriousness of the matter . In addition , the various halls masters and high level elders were also present . The war god and the Martial supreme also came . They were all seated as they wondered what made the martial lord to ring 12 dao calamity bell that signified the highest level of emergency . 
 Whoosh!!. I appeared in the hall as I sat down on the throne . "we greet the martial lord". Everyone stood up and bowed in salute . I nodded and said "Raise up everyone". They all returned to their various positions . I looked around the hall and I noticed that everyone that I summoned were present . My eyes caught the figure of Cadik dressed in his valiant battle armour and I was speechless . 
 "Cadik , you are dressed for battle already ". Cadik scratched his head and said sheepishly "Ehhhhh, I thought that the origin world was under attack , so I got ready for battle ". I shook my head and ignored the muscle brain . Everyone was looking at me with curious expression as they could not wait to know the reason I summoned them . 
 "First of all , Do you all know the reason I established the martial palace?". I asked them . "To conquer the world ". Cadik chuckled with a confident smile and said . Sigh! the solemn atmosphere was broken as many people covered their face in weakness . 
 "Such a strong muscle brain ".
  
 "Which world are we conquering again ". 
 "How did he even cultivate with such low intelligence ".
 Mutterings filled the whole palace as the expression on Cadik's face became ugly as he glared at everyone . He only answered a question , what's wrong with that . I smiled and said "Since no one know the reason then let me tell you ". Everyone paid rapt attention as I continued . "I was lucky to meet one of the top experts of this universe , the Firelord Genjin .  
 I was exposed to some of the secrets of this universe and one of them is the calamity of the Devourers . The Devourers are foreign race that invaded this universe and they seek to devour all the worlds , dimensions and render this universe desolate.". Many of them had astonished Expression on their faces as their world outlook was being refreshed . 
 "Some of you may ask , are we not living in a safe world already?. So you might think that this calamity will not affect you. Let me tell you all , The Devourers have already invaded this dimension and we are prone to be attacked anytime . I established the martial palace to fight against the devourers and I promised my benefactor that I will help weaker worlds to defend against the devourers". 
 Someone gulped and said nervously "Can we really fight against beings that devour worlds ?". They were strong quite alright but compared to the mythical devourers , they were way too weak . I smiled and looked at Elvis " Elvis , did you remember that monster you fought against in the martial world?". Elvis nodded and said "Yes your majesty , that monster that had sinister aura ". 
 I nodded and said "The monster that Elvis fought was corrupted by the devouring aura and it only knew mindless slaughtering and devouring . The Devourers either directly devour a world or they slowly corrupt it and this will eventually lead to the destruction of that world . They also possess incredible healing ability that made them very hard to kill. 
 Humans possess connate body that can resist the devouring aura but beasts are prone to be corrupted easily . They devour the world core and directly increase their strength . ". I took a deep breath as I looked at Everyone and said with seriousness "My clone discovered a world that is on the brink of destruction . Billions of people have died already with very few people remaining . I fought with the demigod Devourer but I was not able to defeat him due to the clone's limited strength". 
 Some of them still had hesitant looks on their faces . "I know that some of you might still be reclutant to fight but we can not allow them to keep getting stronger , we need to help the inhabitants of the sage world to evacuate safely ". I looked at their faces my battle intent blazed "Who will battle with me in the safe world and secure a future for this dimension !!!". 
 Elvis stood up and said immediately "The martial gods are ready for battle !". The hall masters stood up and expressed their intentions to battle . Tian and the war god also agreed to battle . I nodded in Satisfaction and said " How is the recruitment for the martial army going ?". Clive stood up and said "According to your instructions , I was able to recruit up to a thousand men that are at the grandmaster stage and above ". 
 I nodded and said"Good!". I had instructed the various hall and god palaces to donate people that will fill up the martial army because we are seriously lacking in man power "Neil , how many void ships and other ships do you have ready for combat now ?". Neil stood up and said " Your majesty , we have 15 void level ships , 300 domain ships , 1200 supreme level ships and 3,000 grandmaster level ships ". 
I nodded and said "What is accomodation capacity of the various ships ?". I asked . "Your majesty , the void level ship can accommodate 15,000 people while domain level ship can accommodate 10, 000 people , supreme level ship can accommodate 5,000 people and grandmaster level ships can accommodate 2,000". 
 I was in deep thought as I calculated how many ships we can use for the expedition . "I need 15 void level ships and 300 domain level ships ready for battle ". I instructed . Neil bowed and said " Acknowledged, your majesty ". I looked at the formation hall master "I need you to build space array formation in different points and also you will also come with us in this expedition because the formation array us very important to this mission ". 
 Harvey nodded and said "Okay , your majesty". "Nigel , I need the alchemy hall to work together with the Alchemy god palace and produce sufficient pills that will be enough for the army ". Nigel nodded and acknowledged . I seemed to remember something as I turned to Neil "I need you to produce a type of armour that can replenish spiritual energy because the sage world is sparse in terms of spiritual energy ". 
 Neil smiled and said "Your majesty , we have already produced 700 sets of such armour before because I thought that the armour will not be useful so we stopped producing it ". My expression became happy as I said "Try and produce more of them , make it reach at least 2,000". Neil smiled and said with confidence "Leave everything to me ". 
 I looked at Clive and said "The members of the martial army must familize themselves with the war formation and get ready for battle ". Clive nodded and said with assurance "we will definitely be ready ". I looked at Everyone present and said "It is not everyone that will leave this time . 1,000 martial soldiers , 6 martial gods , formation hall master and his aides , Refining hall members that will pilot the ships and 100 martial guards will be the one leaving for this mission.
 We will depart in four days and the martial gods that are going are The Desolate martial god , Eternal martial god , saber martial god , battle martial god , Divine martial god and mystic martial god ". I listed the names of the various Martial gods that will follow me in the expedition. "The rest of you will guard the origin world ". I looked at Tian and said "You will be in charge of the martial palace when I leave ". 
 Tian nodded solemnly and said "Yes , your majesty ". I have arranged everything in the way it should be and I hope that there will be no mistakes . "This meeting is closed and everyone should get their own task done ". I ordered . "Yes , your majesty" . Everyone bowed as I vanished from the hall. I had to make myself stronger because I intend to kill that devourer with absolute strength . Everyone dispersed as they Left the hall , hurrying to their various tasks . 
 Cadik had a gleeful expression in his face because he could not wait for the upcoming battle . War was eminent .
