My eyes constricted because it was the same old man who was referred as the 'Heavenly monarch ' was standing before me . To my dismay, I discovered that I could not make use of any of my laws at all . It was as if they completely disappeared . 
 Abolition of all laws ! 
 "A supreme king realm being ". I thought with horror . Only beings who had completed their world and constructed the Heavenly way , thereby becoming the embodiment of the heavenly way can render all laws useless for beings weaker than him . 
 "You don't have to be afraid of me ". The old man said cordially having sensed my vigilance against him . 
 "Not bad ,being able to resist the aura of sovereign lords ". The eyes of the old man lit up as he looked at me . 
 I calmed myself down and said "Who are you , senior ?". My voice was respectful as I dare not underestimate the old man in front of me . 
 "Don't you know me already ". The old man chuckled with a mysterious smile on his face . 
 "The heavenly monarch ?". I said with uncertainty . 
 The old man nodded and said "You don't have to suspect whether someone else is impersonating me , I am indeed the Heavenly monarch you saw in that timeline ". 
 I took a mouthful of cold breath because this was a real big shot in front of me . "It's a pleasure to meet you , senior ". I cupped my fists in respect . 
 The old man suddenly looked at the distance and his expression became grave . "Come with me ". The old man said as my figure mysteriously vanished with him . 
 Not long after we left , a pair of green eyes that was glittering with viciousness appeared in the void . 
 "Heavenly monarch , the time is neigh ! . Prepare for your doom ". A cold voice sounded In the void as a dark devouring aura blotted the vast sky.  
 My vision blurred as I found myself standing in front of a bronze palace that was beautiful and intact . It was strange to see a palace that did not suffer any slightest damage despite the terrifying battle that occurred in this place . 
 "This palace was built with imperial materials that can withstand the full attack of an Emperor ". The old man said , clearing the doubts in my heart . 
 I nodded and observed the environment only to discover that apart from the palace situated at the centre , the surrounding environment was completely empty and void .
 "Senior , are we still in the island ?". I asked curiously . 
 "Yes but we are in a separate space created by me ". The old man answered . 
 I was very surprised so I observed the environment only to subtly discover that indeed the space here was different from the battlefield . 
 "What an exquisite application of space laws !". I exclaimed in my mind. It was a perfect merge with the space of the battlefield and the one here , with only minute subtle differences . 
 The old man was truly unfathomable and that made me to heighten my vigilance because I did not know the motive of the old man . 
 But on second thought , I smiled warily . If he wants to harm me , can I even resist at all ? .  
 The palace was empty without any sign of life in it . I walked with the old man until we came to the large hall . The interior of the hall was very vast and it was covered by different law manifestations and also the divine energy was very dense . 
 I subtlely noticed that the flow of time here was different from the outside world even though I could not accurately point out the exact difference . 
 "Take a seat ". The old man pointed at a golden chair that was in the hall . 
 I took a deep breath as I noticed that the chair was constructed with extraordinary materials . Cultivating here will produce the double of the results . I was really tempted by this palace but on second thought , wasn't that the same thing as courting death . 
 Taking away the property of a king realm powerhouse , what's the difference between seeking death and that . I suppressed the greediness in my heart and calmly sat down . 
 "Are you still alive? ". I broke the silent atmosphere as I asked the question that have been on my mind .  
 "No , I died in that war . Only a trace of my consciousness exist ". The old smiled as if he had expected me to ask that question . 
 I nodded because I saw him in that timeline fighting against that green creature and they were at disadvantage . Considering that terrifying scene that I saw , I doubted whether he could have survived it . 
 "What is the origin of this ruin ?" . I asked my major question . 
 "Before I answer your question , how much do you know about this dimension ?". He asked me . 
 "I only know that this part of dimension is known as the nether region but as for other things about this dimension , I don't think that I have much knowledge about it ". I blinked my eyes and answered honestly . 
 The old man nodded and said "Millions of years ago , the nether region was once the centre of this dimension , possessing terrifying power that supressed other regions ". A forlorn expression appeared on his face as he remembered the past . 
 "There are different races in this dimension but only few races could claim heamogeny ; the nether race , the human race , golem race and green fog race were the four monarch races that supressed the entire dimension ". 
 So humans had a glorious past where they reigned supreme , I was quite proud when I heard him . 
 Who wouldn't want his race to be at the top?. 
 "Why are they called the monarch race ?. is it just because of their strength or is there something specific ?". I asked him . 
 "It is because king realm beings exist in the race and that's why they are known as the monarch races ". He answered.  
 King realm ! 
 I was quite confused here because from the information I got from the devourer , I thought that king level power was not allowed in this dimension . 
 "I thought that this dimension don't allow king realm powerhouses to appear in it ". I said with confusion . 
 The old man frowned and was in deep thought . After a while , he sighed gently and said "I get it , the war must have severely damaged the origin of this dimension , making it unable to withstand the birth of a king realm powerhouse . 
 During my era , this dimension was on the verge of evolving to an imperial dimension ". 
 My eyes widened explicably , 
 Dimensions can evolve ! , that's the first time am hearing such a thing . 
 "Dimensions can evolve ?". I looked at him with suprise . 
 "Yes as the origin of a dimension gets stronger , it has a high probability of surpassing it's original level and ascending to a new one ". The old man explained . 
 He then looked at me and said "I guess you will not be familiar with the realms above the Lord realm ". 
 My mouth twitched slightly but I did not bother to correct him . 
 He took my silence as my acknowledgement to his statement and then said "Above the Lord realm is the king realm and above the king realm is the Emperor realm . 
 The nether lord who was the overlord of this dimension and also the monarch of the nether race was on the verge of becoming an emperor before the calamity struck . I was the leader of the human race and a peak stage supremeking being ". 
 Sad expression appeared on his face as he sighed " Strange beings that could devour worlds , invaded this dimension and the nether lord fell . The green fog race defected and stabbed us from the back and that lead to our drastic defeat ". 
 ' The green creatures detected '. I exclaimed inwardly . No wonder their corpses had devouring aura surrounding them . 
 A questioning loook appeared on my face as I asked "I thought that this dimension had four regions . Other regions will not be so weak right ? ,why didn't they help when the nether region was been attacked ". 
 The old man sneered disdainfully and said "They were happy to see the nether region become extremely weakened . They only sent reinforcement when almost all the king realm powerhouses have fallen . This place is a part of the main battlefield and it driftted in the void and eventually landed in this world ". 
 The old man suddenly stood up and bowed "I need your help ".
