Intense aura of death enshrouded the sages as the claw continued it's descent . "Come on guys , we will die fighting !!!". The earth sage roared as their aura exploded. Boooom!!!. Their aura seemed minute when compared to the terrifying claw that seemed to carry apocalyptic might . The pressure generated by the claw's descent made the city wall crack apart and many humans on the wall were forced on their knees due to the intense pressure .
 Everyone watched with despair as the attack landed . Suddenly , a streak of sword qi that stretched thousands of miles slashed at the hand. Slash!!!. the terrifying claw was slashed into two as black blood splashed on the ground , carrying extreme corrosive effect . Sizzle!!!! all the green plants died immediately upon getting in contact with the blood. 
 "Roar !!!". the gaint roared with pain as his claw regenerated at extreme speed as the beast hurriedly disappeared . Whooosh !!! several golden ships appeared at the horizon , arriving in a majestic form . My expression became grave inside the ship as I detected alot of strong auras , varying from demigod stage to the supreme realm . 
 It is obvious that the devourer had called for backup because no demigod or void realm corrupted creatures were present the last time I came here but now I could detect several auras at demigod realm and below . This battle was going to be a very tough one . 
 "Harvey , try and build the space formation immediately so that we can start immediate evacuation . Clive , the situation have exceeded my plan but I guess that we can still hold on for sometime . The martial army must maintain a defensive form outside the city , the city must not be breached at all cost ". I instructed with extreme seriousness . 
 Yes , your majesty ". Clive said solemnly as a grave expression appeared on his face . As a demigod , he also noticed strong aura's that were hidden in the dark . "The rest of the martial gods and martial guards will help you in defending the city . I will be going outside the void to fight against that devourer . Remember , when all the people are all evacuated and I am not yet back , just leave without me ". 
 Elvis said "But your majesty....". 
 "That's an order !! , nothing can kill me here but I might be delayed for sometime ". My eyes peered through the outside void as I seemed to notice something there . "Okay , your majesty ". They all agreed reclutantly . I vanished from my position as I rushed to the void outside the sage world . 
 Clive looked at Everyone and said "Let's make the martial lord proud ". They all nodded as they prepared for battle. Everyone in the sage city watched as several ships that looked like divine ships that were owned by dieties descended . Boooom!!!!. beams of destructive light were fight by the ships at the surrounding beasts as they were being blasted to bits . Roar !!!. several corrupted creatures started retreating with fearful expressions as they watched the ships enter. the city . 
 Even though their minds were filled with endless slaughter but they still know what can kill them or pose intense danger to them . The backs of the ships opened as figures dressed in Golden armour rushed out with extreme speed , trying to form a defensive formation outside the city . "Form the true dragon heaven formation !!!". Clive roared as he descended from the ship . 
 The martial army quickly gathered together outside the wall , looking like a celestial army with their armour shinning brightly like divine beings . Boooom!!!!. incredible might spread across the environment as a dragon roar resounded in the sky . Roar!!!. a huge golden dragon that spanned thousands of meters in height rose in the air as it looked at the corrupted creatures with intense might. 
 The dragon maintained a defensive stance as it used it's huge body to surround the city walls . "Make sure you maintain the formation !". Clive ordered . "Yes , war god!". the army yelled as their golden flag was mounted on the wall. The sages and the other people on the walk were still looking at the terrifying beings that suddenly descended into their city with wide eyes and dumbfounded expression on their faces . 
 Be it the martial army or the martial gods or Clive , they all had terrifying aura that seem to pierce the sky . They found themselves incredibly weak when compared to them . Clang!!!. Clive , the martial gods , the martial guards and the formation hall master and his entourage descended on the city wall as they looked at the sages . "You must be the sages mentioned by his majesty". Clive said to the with a friendly smile . 
 The sages hurriedly nodded as they exclaimed in their minds . The being that arrived before in their world must have incredible status in their force in order to be addressed as his majesty . "Yes senior , we are the sages ". the wind sage said carefully as he did not want the terrifying beings to be annoyed or anything. Clive smiled and said "Good , Your courages are all comendable ". Clive praised them with noticable admiration in his voice . 
 For them to bravery stand out and protect the people in such a hopeless situation requires certain amount of willpower . "We dare not accept this praise , senior ". the wind sage sage humbly . "I can't wait to excerise my muscles ". Cadik grinned widely as he was already bored with all the chit-chats . "Cadik , please do not blindly rush into the beasts area , there are alot of strong beasts there and you might get overwhelmed ". Clive warned .
 "Don't worry, I know my limits ". Cadik shrugged his shoulders . "We will protect this dumb head ". Elvis assured Clive . Clive nodded because he knew that out of all the martial gods present , only Elvis was more cool headed and rational in his thinking . The battle intent of the battle martial god was blazing hot as he gripped his sliver rod tightly , he could not wait any longer to start slaughtering .
 The Divine martial god , Saber martial god and mystic martial god were relatively calm as they surveyed the environment . "We will be going now to build the formation ". Harvey said to them as they hurriedly departed to start building the formation quickly . "How long will it take !".Clive yelled at their departing backs . "About two or three hours ". . Harvey said as they disappeared from sight .
 Vrooom!!!. several ships landed in the city as they prepared for their eminent evacuation . 200 members of the Refining hall brought out 70 crystal cannons that was mobile and can be used for combat . "please make sure that the citizens board the ship without any accident ". Clive instructed the sages . 
 "And also , help me find these people and bring them to this ship behind me ". Clive sent them the mental picture of Linda and her brothers . "Senior , I was instructed by the previous senior who came here before to specifically take care of them so I can bring them now ". the sky sage replied . "That's good , just make sure that they board the ship ". The sky sage nodded as he departed with other sages to carry out their tasks .  
 "Okay guys , it's time for battle". Clive said as he looked at the distance . Boooom!!! boooom!!. terrifying aura appeared as 100 void level beasts attacked . booom!!! the martial god seal of the martial gods light up , elevating their cultivation to the peak of bvoid realm immediately . Terrifying might spread across the area immediately . "I will be going first ". Cadik said as he vanished from his position . 
 Not willing to be outdone , the rest of the martial gods vanished as they rushed towards the distance "Help me maintain the order in the city ". Clive told the martial guards. They were the direct guards of the martial lord and only him and the martial supreme can order them . They nodded as they vanished from their position . "Such an elite force ". Clive thought . He then narrowed his eyes as he discovered that three demigods at middle stage have locked their aura on him .
 The martial army were still maintaining their formation with intense concentration as they were not still attacked by any beasts yet . The 200 men stationed the crystal cannons on the wall as they prepared to fire at any incoming beasts . boooom!!!.a huge divine shadow rose up in the sky , towering in the air like a primordial god . Intense aura covered the sky as Clive exploded with his might . 
 The space started shattering , forming black holes as it could no longer endure the might of Clive . "I am afraid that this world will fall apart of we fight here ". Clive thought because the destructive power of a demigod was too strong and they were capable of causing severe damage to the environment . 
 He sent out series of instructions to the squad leaders as he vanished and appeared above the void , outside the sage world . Several auras followed him as they surrounded him . Boooom !!!. Three laws circulated around him with intense might as he prepared for a terrifying battle . Who will prevail or who will be victorious in this upcoming battle was still Unknown.
