The other sages looked at me with fearful expressions because they were afraid of being killed . I withdraw my aura as a relieved expression appeared on their faces . Even the sky king became meek like a little kitten , not daring to look at me . I took a sit and sat down , gesturing them to sit down too. They sat down nervously as they stared at me like I was some sort of monster . 
 I was speechless because I did not know when I became so frightening that I put people on the edge by mere sitting close to them . I smiled as I told me to introduce themselves . They introduced themselves as the sky sage , wind sage , earth sage , dark sage , light sage and fire sage . "So when did the calamity start?". I asked them . 
 The earth sage that seem to be the oldest among them said "The calamity started 10,000 years ago . According to the ancient records , a terrifying palm descended from heaven as it nearly destroyed this world . The warrior gods gathered together and attacked that terrifying palm that descended from the sky . The palm was too powerful as their combined attacks could not do anything to the palm .
 In the end , they decided to burn their blood essence making their powers to temporarily elevate to the realm above the warrior god realm but it was still useless , the palm smashed all of them to death but later withdraw for a reason unknown . After that the world changed drastically as it was infected with the dark aura and the monsters started to go on rampage ". 
  I nodded calmly as I listened to him "Is this the remaining of all the human population ?". Sadness appeared in their faces as the wind sage said painfully "Almost 90% of the human are gathered here because nobody is able to survive outside the wall ". I sighed because the number that died in the calamity was truly outrageous because they died in billions . "I am from the martial palace in a world called the origin world". 
  They all bowed as they paid their respect to me . "You don't have to worry about anything , I came here with good intentions because the martial palace was established for fighting against the devourers ". I noticed their confused expression when I mentioned the devourers . "Oh my bad , the cause of the calamity in your world is the devouring race . They devour worlds in order to increase their strength ". 
 Cold sweat drenched their backs when they heard about what they are facing. The sky sage gulped and said with fear "How are we going to fight against such being". hopelessness filled his voice as he could not imagine exchanging blows with beings that devoured worlds . I smiled slightly and said "Indeed , the current you is practically unable to fight back at all . 
  You should know that the so called warrior god realm is pathetically weak that it is not even considered an ant in the eyes of the devourers ". I told them the bitter truth because I have to make them understand the terrifying beings that they were up against . Complicated emotions surfaced in their hearts as they were told that the strength they had deep pride in was very useless . 
 They were very experienced so they were able to calm their emotions down very quickly . The wind sage stepped forward and said earnestly "Please senior , I implore you to save this world ". The others joined him as they looked at me with hopeful expression . I sighed as this world is beyond saving . "Don't worry , the reason I entered this world is to fight against the devourer that is responsible for the calamity . 
 The devouring aura is currently affecting a world that is close to my own world and that's why u descended into this world ". They looked at me with admiration as they wondered how strong I was . "Ehhhh, senior which realm are you in ". The sky sage asked fearfully . I smiled and said "My battle prowess us four realms above the warrior god realm ". they gulped nervously as they could not imagine how strong I was . 
 "The realm is called the demigod realm and I guess the devourer that is devouring this world should be around the demigod realm too". They had shocked expression on their faces as they looked at each other with disbelief . " Then , why is this world not destroyed long ago ?" . The earth sage asked in confusion because obviously the other party far suparssed them in strength . 
 I shook my head and said "I am not sure but I guess that that it was held up by something ". I was also confused how it took so long for it to devour a world that was so weak so I guessed that it encountered some problem while devouring the world . "The martial palace will soon descend into this world and help everyone evacuate ". "Thank you , senior ". they bowed in gratitude . 
 "I will like to join the martial palace ". the sky sage said to me with expentant look on his face although others did not say a word , I saw that they also have the same request on their minds . "joining the martial palace is not a problem. but you have to leave this world safely first ". Their eyes light up with happiness as they bowed with respect and gratitude "Thank you, senior". 
 I smiled as I saw their reaction , what I liked about them is their perseverance and their fighting will . They were able to protect all the people in the city all this while and I was truly moved by it because with their strength , they could have choosen to live in seclusion in some part of the world but they did not do so but they tried to protect humanity. "Dong!!!". a bell sound sounded as their expressions changed drastically . 
 The wind sage said "The city is under attack again". I expanded my divine sense as I saw thousands of corrupted creatures outside the wall . I furrowed my brows as I noticed that something was off because I felt like they were purposely driven here because it was hard for such a large number of beasts to gather here on their own because they have long lost their rational mind . I waved my hand as I teleported everyone away . 
 They felt their sight blur as we reached the wall in an instant . Their admiration for me instantly rose up as they felt my unfathomable strength . The guards on the wall were surprised at our sudden appearance but they soon shook it off because they had immense belief in the sages . The expression of the sages changed drastically as they saw the massive number of beasts outside the wall . 
 "How is this possible , we have not been attacked by this amount of beasts before !!". the fire sage said nervously as he felt tiny in front of the horde of beasts . The earth sage glanced at me and saw my calm expression and heaved a sigh of relief . "Maybe , we can deal with this Crisis with him around ". he thought . 
  The bodies of the soldiers were shivering in fright as they saw the sheer number of beasts but they still held on to their weapons as they were ready to die in battle . Terrifying auras erupted from the body of some beasts showing that atleast 90 of them were in the grandmaster realm and many others might still be hidden among the beasts without showing themselves . 
 I gradually flew into the air as many people watched me . they were not familiar with me so they all had doubtful expression on their faces . I gently pressed my hand down "Star descent". booooom!!!. a terrifying miniature star that contained terrifying destruction law smashed down on the beasts . Boooom!!!!. the attack was so terrifying that it exceeded the limits of this world . 
 Space started shattering like glass as a black hole appeared in the void . The beasts sensed immense danger and wanted to flee but I have restricted the space around them so they could only watch the attack descend on them . Booom!!!boooom!!!!. the attack smashed down decimating thousands of beasts . The shockwaves spread across the land for thousands of miles as the landscape was completely destroyed . 
 The people on the wall gulped in fear as they watched thousands of beasts destroyed in an instant . I noticed something in the void ."I will be back ". I said as I vanished into the void above the world . I saw a mass of devouring whirlpool that stretched fir thousands of miles . The body of the devourer was not visible as it was completely covered by dark aura only showing red eyes that glinted fiercely . 
The aura it was emitting was so powerful that I felt immense pressure by just standing in front of it . The devouring power seemed like it can devour spacetime as anything within thousands of miles were inevitably devoured .
